"What a scary fan," he muttered.
Dismissing all distracting thoughts, Van returned his focus to the final Chapter of his novel.
Besides, that damn editor gave a deadline at the end of the month. Just thinking about it makes dizzy.

’What’s happening?’
Van imdiately reached for his phone to call 911, but his body didn’t respond to his will.
Finally, darkness enveloped his vision and his consciousness slowly faded.
In a white room, Van lay as if he had just lost consciousness.
After a while, Van finally opened his eyes.
His eyes were filled with worry and fear as he looked around.
’Where am I? What happened? Did a fan kidnap ?!’ Van thought in panic.
"Hohoho! Finally, you’re awake!"
A majestic-sounding old voice echoed through the room.
Hearing a voiceless voice, Van shivered in fear.
"Sh*t! I really was kidnapped!" Van muttered.
*CLICK
A very bright light enveloped the room, forcing Van to close his eyes.
After feeling the very bright light begin to fade, Van finally opened his eyes.
He saw an old man floating in the air.
Seeing the old man’s action, Van’s mouth opened wide, but no sound ca out of his mouth.
"Finally t you!" said the old man joyfully.
"Huh? What do you an?" Van asked.
"[Naive Hero]! I love it!" said the old man.
Hearing the old man’s praise, a little pride arose in Van’s heart.
"I’ve seen many stories, but no one can match the story of your creation," said the old man.
"Really? Uh- who are you?" Van asked incredulously.
"Who do you think I am?" the old man asked with full confidence.
"A damn old fool who likes to kill people," Van replied wholeheartedly.
"Ugh," the old man muttered while touching his chest.
"So, why did I die?" Van asked.
"I wanted to et you, so I killed you," the old man replied.
Hearing the answer, Van’s expression suddenly beca stiff.
He couldn’t believe that a [God] would dare kill soone just to et soone.
’Damn it! Are my fans always like this?’ thought Van.
"How dare you! You stupid old fool! My life was in its pri, but you killed just to et ?!" Van said, cursing.
"Calm down! I didn’t just kill you for that reason. I offer you an opportunity!" said the old man.
"What is it?" Van asked, taking a deep breath because he was tired.
"Reincarnation. How about reincarnating into the novel you created that hasn’t been finished yet?" the old man asked.
"Huh? Is that possible?" Van asked incredulously.
"Of course. Who do you think I am?" the old man asked confidently.
"A damn old fool who likes to kill people," Van replied wholeheartedly.
"Ugh," the old man muttered.
"So, let’s reincarnate right away! I’m tired of seeing your face," Van said.
"Wait a minute. Let’s draw for your role," said the old man and snapped his fingers.
A gacha wheel appeared out of thin air and began to spin very fast.
Van could even see the nas of important and minor characters on the wheel.
After a while, the wheel slowly slowed down and finally stopped at a character.
Seeing this character, Van’s eyes were filled with joy, surprise, fear, and disbelief.
"Damn it! Why does it have to be this character?" Van muttered.
"Goodbye. Enjoy your new life!" said the old man and snapped his fingers.
"Wa-"
Before Van could finish his sentence, he was enveloped in a bright light and disappeared from the room.
"Co on, Van. Give an amazing ending," the old man muttered.
