His body and arms ford a small enclosed space, shielding her perfectly inside, away from the surrounding gazes.
Shi Nian looked up and tried to smile, "Thank you."
He bent his neck and whispered beside her, "See the advantage of having by your side, right? Hmm, from now on, do whatever you want; leave the rest to ."
She suddenly looked up at him, eyes filled with surprise and--bewildernt.
He suppressed the sigh within his heart.
She still didn’t understand why he said this. Instead, she might even be frightened by his confession.
She was even more unsure--why she had such an obsessive concern about Tong’s wife as a topic.
She couldn’t tolerate girls getting hurt, just like once it happened to herself.
With people crowding the elevator, he refrained from reaching out again to cover her eyes. The way she looked always stirred up his emotions, making him want--to kiss her.
He sighed and supported her elbow.
Shi Nian froze for a mont, hastily avoiding his gaze. She wondered if she had been seeing things, as for that brief mont, he seed to blush.
He diverted his gaze instead of looking at her, only staring at the elevator’s display panel, "We’re here."

Seeing Tang Yanqing entering the office with Shi Nian, Ye He excitedly almost jumped directly from her seat. Then she saw Tang Yanqing’s attire, making her eyes sparkle even more.
Shi Nian sighed, walked over, and whispered, "Didn’t have breakfast this morning? So interested in living persons."
Ye He laughed with a blush, "I really wish I could take a bite out of him to satisfy my craving."
Shi Nian prepared herself briefly and went into Lipman’s office to report today’s plans. Tang Yanqing pulled a chair and sat down beside Shi Nian’s desk, engrossed in reading a copy of "Deep Throat Morning News."
Ye He’s head slowly rose above the partition, her eyes whirling around, and quietly said when no one noticed, "Mr. Tang, are you going to accompany our boss at work every day from now on?"
"Hmm," Tang Yanqing answered faintly without lifting his head or opening his eyes.
Ye He was overjoyed secretly, "So that ans I can see you every day."
"Not necessarily," Tang Yanqing quickly scanned the social news section without delaying his response to Ye He.
"Why?" Ye He blinked her big eyes, "Since you’ll accompany our boss at work every day, how could I not see you every day?"
Tang Yanqing sighed, finally looked up at her, "With your attitude at work, I think the day when you’re suspended isn’t far off. By that ti, even if I co here to work every day, you won’t be able to see ."
Ye He was scared and stuck out her tongue, promptly disappearing from the partition. But soon returned, raising a fist like taking an oath to Tang Yanqing, "Reporting to Mr. Tang, I promise I’ll work diligently."
Tang Yanqing finally smiled, "Hmm, helping your boss properly is the right thing to do."
Shi Nian returned and saw the two’s appearance, then teased, "What are you talking about?"
Tang Yanqing shrugged, "Ye He said she’s determined to be your good assistant. She’ll work hard for you."
Shi Nian couldn’t help but laugh.
Ye He’s little thoughts, how could she not see through them?

The three walked out the door, Shi Nian lifted her wrist to check her watch, then instructed Ye He, "Go over and take a turn near Yanwu Square. Rember, don’t get too close, and don’t ask too much. Just see if they’ve been opening for business normally these days."

Shi Nian glanced at Tang Yanqing, "I’m going to find Nisha."
