Yunyin hurriedly left the scene, going out of the court barely paying attention to other officials, even those that seed to approach him.

Outside he went to the carriage, entering it after the driver opened the door. He told him to wait until his attendant ca before they would go out.

Once inside, he looked at the screen, confirming that no one else saw it.

’Is this... my cheat? My golden finger? After such a long ti, I actually have one!’ Yin was extrely shocked.

He looked at his own ntal space, at the slightly modern version of the abacus, sothing he had painstakingly recreated in this world after analysing his own inheritance and the imperial inheritance countless tis -

A whole plan appeared in his mind, his own attempt at creating an advantage using his past life’s mories.

And now... who knew everything led to him having a cheat?!

’Maybe it’s good that it arrived so late... else I’m not sure if I’d have put as much effort into my inheritance...’ he didn’t know yet what this cheat was about, so he could only think about it like this for now.

Looking at the screen and seeing the five questions about integrating, he was a bit surprised, ’Going from county to clan, faction, family and finally reputation... isn’t this including everything outside that can influence the perception of and is in my own sphere of influence?’

He looked at them closely as he thought about this.

[Integrate Radiant Silver County?]

[Integrate Jie Clan?]

[Integrate Faction?]

[Integrate Family?]

[Integrate Reputation?]

The first was the county his father managed, then his family... he had no faction and as a single person, he didn’t have a family. He didn’t know about whether he had any reputation either.

His thoughts passed by rapidly as he said loudly in his mind, ’Integrate! Integrate all!’

[Initiating multiplier integration...]

[Integrating Radiant Silver County: 5th Rank County, 100% (limit reached)]

[Integrating Jie Clan: 7th Rank Clan, 100%]

[Integrating Faction: None/Minor Figure in Faction]

[Integrating Family: None/Single mber]

[Integrating Reputation: None/Too Unknown]

[Dividing by all Integrated Factors... 40% Multiplier!]

[Final Rewards Calculated---]

[Total Renown Gained: 2,811 -> 3,935!]

[Total Influence Gained: 10 -> 14!]

Yin looked at this, his eyes going between shock and confusion.

’Wait, wait, what?!’ he looked at it again and again until he realised that because of his integration, he actually lowered his own reward!

If he only integrated one of them, especially the Radiant Silver County with the limit already being reached... wouldn’t that an that he would’ve gotten a 100% multiplier?!

He asked the panel right away, hoping for an answer -

To his surprise, there was actually an answer, but it wasn’t in the form of text. Instead, information dawned into his mind.

’Huh? Each integration gives a different skill tree, and I can only choose integration at the start. The bonus is that the effects of different integrations can actually affect other integrations in a lower degree or similarly?’ he browsed his information, only gaining a general gist of it, not really understanding.

But hearing the word ’Skill Tree’, he naturally wanted to look at it.

Right as he thought of it, five windows opened up to his side, each looking different -

The first was an image of a city and the area around it, with only a few main buildings drawn, the rest being ignored. On each main building there was a small window with a na and a locked symbol!

He looked at the central building, the Yan of the county, the governnt building containing the three offices of the Magistrate, Garrison Commander and the Ministries.

[Radiant Silver Cloud County Yan: Unlock for 10 Influence!]

Looking at the others, he saw that most were the sa actually -

[Radiant Silver Cloud County Academy: Unlock for 10 Influence!]

[Radiant Silver Cloud County Wall: Unlock for 10 Influence!]

[Radiant Silver Cloud County Gate: Unlock for 10 Influence!]

[Radiant Silver Cloud County Crafter’s Association: Unlock for 10 Influence!]

[Radiant Silver Cloud County rchant Chamber of Comrce: Unlock for 10 Influence!]

[Radiant Silver Cloud County Zone 1 Fields: Unlock for 10 Influence!]

He looked at them one after another, all requiring 10 Influence to unlock, without even a benefit being shown.

’Does this an I can upgrade the individual places of the county?’ Yin looked at this in shock, a thought erging in his mind: expensive!

And the worst was the only resource he could use was Influence, not the Renown he had a lot of!

Just as he thought of this, he wanted to know Renown could be used for -

Knowledge once again fell into his mind as a new panel opened up in front of him.

[9th Stage Scholar]

[Scholarly Acun: 7.3%]

[Wisdom Accumulation: 7.3%]

[Other Arts: /]

[Use Renown to increase Wisdom?]

’What?!’ the shock this ti was even greater than before, for Yin saw a different path for his own future -

’I can... I can use Renown to directly increase my wisdom?!’ his shock and excitent overflowed.

It took him several monts to suppress his urge to jump up and down, trying to understand it again, giving himself a mont of thought before rushing to anything.

’No, wait. It’s not that I can directly upgrade, but that I can introduce the wisdom into my mind. After all, scholars gather wisdom from various arts, but they have to refine it into their own path -

This ans, a scholar specialising in calligraphy can also gain wisdom by observing poems or having a job that requires ntal power, such as being accountant. Only by then using this wisdom to practice his calligraphy can he refine it to increase his own rank.

I am an Official, so my path is based on my ministry, which is the Ministry of Revenue. Doing calculations and everything related to it will allow to refine wisdom into Scholarly Acun!’

The three steps of progression appeared in his mind: Gaining Wisdom, Refining Wisdom, Attaining Acun.

First gather the resource, second use an action to refine it, third integrate it into your own path!

As he thought of it, he willed his mind to use his renown to increase his wisdom -
