Chen Baidao hunted demonic beasts in the Heavenly Demon Forest for three full days.

Moreover, he spent those three days hunting the Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects exclusively.

The Thousand-Eyed Demon Insect, being one of the most common and least powerful demonic beasts in the Heavenly Demon Forest, was no longer than a few inches and typically ranked as either a First Rank or Second Rank demon beast, with the strongest barely reaching Third Rank.

At Chen Baidao's current cultivation level of Great Saint Realm Early Stage, he could crush tens of thousands of Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects with a single hand.

Yet, Qinchuan's instructions had greatly puzzled him. According to what the Eldest Prince had said, Qinchuan wanted him to kill them one by one without damaging their demon cores.

These little creatures were weak and small; Chen Baidao barely had to exert any force before the cores would be damaged, so he had to be extrely careful during the hunt, afraid that a bit too much force would shatter the cores outright.

The demon cores of these creatures were only the size of fingertip pearls—although shiny and lustrous, they contained no dicinal properties or special effects and were regarded as trash that no one would bother picking up off the street.

He had no idea why Qinchuan had sent him to the Heavenly Demon Forest to hunt these creatures, or why he was asked to collect their demon cores—what was he intending to do with them?

Chen Baidao looked at the courtyard floor, which was covered with demon cores of the Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects. Although these pearl-sized, dark and shiny cores had no practical use, their spread across the ground looked sowhat attractive.

A sense of mischief crossed his mind, "Could it be that Young Master Qin likes these things, perhaps to pave the ground with?"

The next mont.

Qinchuan suddenly spoke, "I will transmit a secret technique to you. Later, you will use this secret technique on these demon cores."

As he spoke, Qinchuan stepped forward, not allowing anyone to react, and touched his finger to Chen Baidao's forehead.

Instantly, Chen Baidao felt a secret technique appear out of nowhere within his divine sense.

Chen Baidao, being exceptionally talented in cultivation as well, and with Qinchuan's simple technique, soon had it mastered.

Once Chen Baidao had grasped the secret technique, Qinchuan then continued, "Next, you'll operate the ntal thod and channel mana into these demon cores."

Although he had no idea what Qinchuan's strange series of actions were for, Chen Baidao still followed the instructions. His entire being surged with energy, and his mana poured out like a raging sea, spreading rapidly in all directions and instantly enveloping the surrounding demon cores.

As Chen Baidao channeled mana into the demon cores scattered on the ground, sothing miraculous happened.

Suddenly, atop each of the pearl-sized demon cores of the Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects, images began to appear in the air.

Looking at the images floating in thin air, Chen Baidao felt they were strangely familiar. Upon closer inspection, he realized with shock that they were scenes from within the Heavenly Demon Forest.

"What's going on here? How can we see scenes from inside the Heavenly Demon Forest right in this place?" Chen Baidao exclaid in astonishnt.

Qinchuan shook his head and corrected him, "To be precise, it's not that we are seeing what's inside the Heavenly Demon Forest, but rather we are viewing the mories stored within the demon cores of the Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects."

"The mories of the Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects!?" Both Chen Baidao and Li Zhi were taken aback, looking at each other in confusion.

"Yes, these images are indeed the mories of the Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects. Unlike other species and demonic beasts, the Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects cannot develop divine sense throughout their lifetis; instead, their mories are stored within their demon cores. We can utilize certain thods to reerge these mories from the demon cores, and thus, we can witness scenes from the past."

With this explanation, and recalling Qinchuan's earlier instructions to Chen Baidao to specifically hunt Thousand-Eyed Demon Insects near the area where the Eldest Prince had perished, both Li Zhi and Chen Baidao began to comprehend Qinchuan's true intentions.

"Young Master Qin, do you intend to clear Dongfang Zhen's na and find the real killer of Fu Xi?"

While sifting through countless demon cores and scrutinizing the mories within, Qinchuan said, "Dongfang Zhen has been with the whole ti; he could not possibly have killed Fu Xi. As for who the real murderer is, I've known for so ti, but I understand that my knowledge alone cannot be considered evidence. This thing is for those fellows from the Taiyuan Ancient Nation to see."

At this point, Qinchuan suddenly paused, "Found it."

All eyes turned toward him.

They saw that from the demon core Qinchuan held, an image projected.

In the center of the fra was a disheveled youth—none other than Fu Xi.

Behind him, several n guarded in all directions, protective circles ford around him.

As Chen Baidao continued to infuse mana into the demon core, the scene began to move.

Just then, one of the middle-aged n behind Fu Xi raised a golden staff and thrust it violently toward Fu Xi's back.

Taken by surprise, Fu Xi turned around with difficulty, looking incredulously at the middle-aged man before him, but before he could utter a single word, his life and spirit dissipated.

Last of all, the picture lingered on the face of the man holding the golden staff.

It was no other than a martial artist who used to follow Jiang Can—one Qinchuan vaguely rembered was nad Jiang Ling.

Now that he had found evidence that Dongfang Zhen was not the murderer, Qinchuan did not delay and imdiately instructed Chen Baidao to make a trip to the Taiyuan Ancient Nation himself.

To present this evidence and rescue Dongfang Zhen from the clutches of the Taiyuan Royal Family, and to bring him back to Tianqing City.

Although Dongfang Zhen had once refused to join Qinchuan in the Tianyuan branch, after these events—especially Fu Lin's betrayal—Dongfang Zhen must have completely lost faith in the Taiyuan branch.

To save him at a critical mont and then enlist him into the Tianyuan branch would be effortlessly done.

After Chen Baidao took his leave, Li Zhi looked at Qinchuan with a strange expression, exclaiming, "Young Master Qin, had you foreseen Fu Xi's death, and moreover, anticipated that the accusation would be placed on Dongfang Zhen?"

Qinchuan, indifferent, replied, "On that day, Fu Xi was supposed to die at my hand but it was Dongfang Zhen who personally intervened and pleaded for his life, allowing him to dodge that fate. Yet it seems his life was destined to end, unaware that the guard by his side for many years had long been bought by soone else."

It turned out.

That day, in the Heavenly Demon Forest.

When Qinchuan and Dongfang Zhen encountered the group of four including Jiang Can, Qinchuan had already sensed Fu Xi's qi on them. Though faint, it was impossible to conceal from Qinchuan's potent soul and Divine Sense probing.

Moreover, Jiang Can and the others purposefully asked about the Eldest Prince and frad Dongfang Zhen.

At that mont, Qinchuan had already concluded that the Eldest Prince had been killed by these n, and he even guessed the events that would unfold subsequently.

These people would definitely pin the bla on Dongfang Zhen.

Qinchuan had been considering how to persuade Dongfang Zhen to co to Tianyuan Nation; though he saw through their conspiracy, he remained silent and did not expose them imdiately.

Instead, he later ordered Chen Baidao to go hunt the Thousand-Eyed Demon Insect in the Heavenly Demon Forest, using this as a way to save Dongfang Zhen from the Taiyuan Royal Family afterward.

After hearing Qinchuan's explanation, Li Zhi sighed deeply; although Qinchuan spoke lightly, an ordinary cultivator would not be able to deduce the events of the next few days from these subtle clues, let alone co up with a response strategy.

Such tactics, in the Dao of Foresight, could be called 'seeing the imperceptible'; even the seasoned Daoists of Tianji Sect would find it difficult to achieve. At that mont, Li Zhi's reverence for Qinchuan climbed several levels once again.
