Chapter 568: Lin i Yu
Knock! Knock!
"Young Miss, there’s an announcent for recruitnt." Butler Hou peeked in to the hospital room. "Do you also want to join in the battle?"
Even though Butler Hou didn’t really want the young miss to participate when she was still very young like this, his duty was to inform them.
At this mont, Nan Hua had already lowered her head and to look at her light brain where it was stated that their galaxy was invaded. They required more logistic soldiers to go and thus, the recruitnt was open.
Of course, only those who have at least D rank or above were allowed to report.
They required as many people as possible, especially those from Military Academy.
Naturally, since they were only logistic soldiers, they would not go to the frontline and only responsible to help loading and guarding the supplies.
"Yes, Butler Hou, please take care of Grandpa," Nan Hua replied as she stood up and walked out of the door.
Butler Hou bowed. "Yes, Young Miss, it’s is my duty."
On the bed, Old Master Nan was still sleeping, but a drop of tear fell down from the corner of his eyes.
Neither Nan Hua or Butler Hou noticed this as they had left the room and Doctor Qing ca in to check on Old Master Nan again.
...
Nan Hua walked out of the waiting room and saw Lin i Yu was also waiting by the elevator. It seed that she didn’t have any intention to wait on Old Master Nan in the slightest bit and only ca for a short period of ti.
When Lin i Yu saw Nan Hua, she only nodded lightly and then ignored her again.
It was totally not the attitude of a woman who had seen her daughter but more like she was seeing a stranger.
Ding!
The elevator arrived and the two of them entered one after another. They were heading to the sa floor and it would only be a few seconds of journey based on the speed of the elevator.
As they entered, Nan Hua glanced at Lin i Yu.
This shall be the last ti.
The last ti for the two of them to et face to face. After this, there shouldn’t be any other chance for this to happen.
Nan Hua’s eyes flickered for a mont.
So...
"Lin i Yu."
Lin i Yu raised her head and looked at Nan Hua coldly. As a junior it was not polite to call the full na of soone from the older generation, especially since Lin i Yu is still Nan Hua’s mother.
Even if Nan Hua didn’t follow Lin i Yu, but the etiquette should have been followed.
Nan Hua didn’t seem to care about Lin i Yu’s displeasure. She looked straight at Lin i Yu’s eyes and then spat out word by word, "Mama, did Hua’er do sothing wrong?"
Lin i Yu’s eyes widened.
Ding!
The elevator stopped and Nan Hua walked out, ignoring Lin i Yu, who was still in a daze and looked distraught.
Just one sentence was more than enough for her to be unable to calm down.
Because she knew very well that this one sentence...
Was only known and has only been uttered by one person in the past.
"You..."
Lin i Yu saw that the lift door was about to close and quickly pressed open. She ran out of the elevator and looked around but didn’t find Nan Hua. At this ti, Nan Hua had already left the hospital and headed towards Military Academy A to join in with the other volunteers.
Standing rooted on the place, Lin i Yu’s trembling body slowly calm down.
’It’s not possible.’
’It shouldn’t have been possible...’
Lin i Yu took a deep breath and walked out of the hospital, but in the next mont, she felt her vision turned black and fell down. What followed afterwards was the scream and yell from the other people around her who panicked.
...
Nan Hua was in the car, looking at the scenery outside.
Her black obsidian eyes flickered slightly as she slowly lowered her head and then looked at her own hand.
She was not interested in knowing Lin i Yu’s reaction after she found out about it. What she wanted was to tell Lin i Yu and reminded her of that day.
And now, Nan Hua was satisfied.
Soon, the car stopped and Nan Hua alighted down the car. She headed into the Military Academy A and saw Feng Yu Hua coming in her direction.
"Hua’er! Do you sign up?" Feng Yu Hua asked with a grin.
"I do," Nan Hua replied. "Section L, the one heading towards the Leaf Planet."
"Sa." Feng Yu Hua grinned and then reached out to pull Nan Hua’s hand. "Co on, we have to prepare quickly. Everyone from our dormitory also signed up, but Ouyang Lin and Su Wan Rou were in different sections."
There would be several different fleets, heading to various locations. There were invasion to their Green Galaxy and their planet was also asked to support several battlefields, so there were several fleets.
Nan Hua could feel Feng Yu Hua’s hands trembled a bit when she held her hand.
"It’ll be fine," Nan Hua said, "They can’t do anything."
The order from the very beginning when they took this identity was for them to sneak into Military Academy A and then participated in the war. The organization had already planned for this event for several years or might be decades as Nan Hua didn’t know.
Now that the war started, there would be several battlefields ongoing at the sa ti.
And it also ant that every single one of the spies planted would make their moves. Countless battlefields would be devastated with their intervention.
"I hope so," Feng Yu Hua replied with a smile.
"You’ll survive and live," Nan Hua said slowly. "Just do what you should do and everything will be alright."
Feng Yu Hua chuckled. "You sound like you’re coaxing a little kid."
And then she looked to their dormitory. "But I guess I do need it."
