Chapter 516: Ti is Running Out
"Four target in the top 10 list from the younger generation gathered in Green Planet. They want to make use of this ti to eliminate all of them," A Rang replied. "I’ll go there to help you along with another batch of the new graduate."
"Is it already ti?" Glue arched his eyebrows.
Every year, all sections would send a batch of new children who passed their test to their first mission.
The location for the first mission varied and it would depend on the current situation. But it seed that Green Planet was put in such an important position to send these new batches of new graduate so soon.
Glue only nodded. "Let them enter, then. I don’t care about the chaos they’re going to bring."
A Rang laughed.
Chaos?
Of course, these people would definitely bring chaos and definitely deaths. Because every single year, the death rate of the first mission has always been the highest. Only less than 20% could survive even with the high selection and training from the organization.
Because the missions they gave are always the difficult ones.
But no one cared.
Because they knew very well that at the end of the day, there would only be 1% or even less people each year who could survive from each section. There were even tis when everyone was eliminated within a few years.
This was one of the reasons why the organization always recruited a lot of new mber to enter. The death rates was really high and they needed almost whoever they could find in order to be used.
No matter how high the death rate was, not a single one of the higher ups cared about this matter.
Because they had already seen their own share of deaths.
The people in the sa year as them who ca with them might be able to be counted in one hand. And the others were those who ca out in the years before or after them.
Surviving is difficult.
Because so of the people in the organization wished to get out while so others had long accepted their fate.
Glue had long been part of the organization and was already old. If not because of the dicine and all, he would not look like he was still in his middle age but would have white hair.
"Try to restrain the information flow for as long as you can. They don’t want more people from the human association to co before it’s ti for that."
Glue waved his hand. "I know, you can go now."
A Rang shrugged and then closed the screen.
Glue leaned on the chair and closed his eyes. Even if he knew storm was coming, he didn’t care too much about it. In his opinion, the chaos outside had nothing to do with him. As long as he did his work as required, it would be enough.
He was almost 100 years old.
The will to live he used to have in the past had long diminished until there was nothing left, the courage to fight was slowly withering, and the feelings that used to be as hot as the sun has turned cold.
He was tired.
But he didn’t want to kill himself either.
Because if he did, what was the point of his entire hard work all these years?
Since he couldn’t bring himself to do it, he simply wasted his ti in this place, only doing the work he was supposed to do at the bare minimum to keep his life. And the small mistakes were slowly accumulating.
Glue knew that if he continued like this, they would never let him go.
But he no longer cared about it.
He slowly closed his eyes and rested. He had already finished his work for the day and the rest could be continued tomorrow.
...
Feng Yu Hua was looking at the mission list that suddenly disappeared and sighed deeply. The thod from the organization to send them ssage had never changed. She felt that giving her a mission at this juncture was the sa as putting her own position at risk.
She was already suspicious enough because of several incidents that involved her.
Even if the recent accidents had nothing to do with them, there was no mistake that once she was involved, they would definitely watch her tightly.
Feng Yu Hua didn’t want that.
"Hua’er, what do you think we should do?" Feng Yu Hua sighed.
Nan Hua was looking at the mission that appeared in front of her and disappeared too. She knew very well that she could do it.
It was within her capabilities to kill people without them noticing. Over the past few years, she had done multiple missions at the sa ti because there was the chance to do it. And during those missions, she left no trace and disappeared very quickly.
If she planned it well, she could kill them all without them knowing that it was her.
But...
"Don’t bother with it."
Feng Yu Hua arched her eyebrows when she heard Nan Hua’s sentence. She looked at the young woman not far from her in surprise. "Are you sure about it?"
"Yes." Nan Hua was calm and then patted Xiao Hei, who squird and then jumped to Feng Yu Hua’s bed.
"Well, I hope they would not try to force us to do it." Feng Yu Hua sighed. If the missions were tasked to them, then these people would definitely send sothing to force them to do it.
"They won’t." This was not only a mission for us but for almost everyone in Green Planet. Those from the organization would definitely received the mission but whether they would do it or not was another question.
After all, not everyone was in Military Academy A where it was more convenient to contact with these people.
Nan Hua’s eyes narrowed slightly, but her expression remained indifferent as she said, "Our ti is running out."
