Chapter 31: Invitation
"Do you think that Hua’er is a hardened soldier like you?" Old Master Nan looked at Nan Hai Yan and questioned angrily. "Don’t treat her the sa as you treat that brat Xian Yu. She’s a delicate lady, got it?"
Nan Hai Yan nodded solemnly. "I rember, Father."
"The school will start soon and Hua’er will stay in the dormitory." Old Master Nan began to feel regret for sending Nan Hua to the dormitory. This ant that she wouldn’t be able to go ho for a long period of ti.
He didn’t know whether she would suffer or not when she was staying in the dormitory. But for those in the military academy, they had to stay in the dormitory to teach these children how to be independent.
When they were going on missions, it was impossible for them to bring people to take care of them.
They had to take care of themselves.
"So soon?" Nan Hai Yan was stunned.
"The day after tomorrow is the start of school. She can practice in the morning and then I’ll bring her to the mall to buy so necessities." Old Master Nan recalled the list of clothes that Nan Hua bought when she was with her cousin and frowned again.
He didn’t have much knowledge about these won clothes. But his butler told him that these were all mostly casual and party type of clothes, which was not suitable for a soldier to use.
Nan Hua was going to the military academy.
Why did her cousin pick these clothes for her?
Old Master Nan was not lacking in money, but he didn’t like seeing that his second granddaughter was not listening to his words and instead doing sothing like this.
"Ok," Nan Hai Yan agreed easily.
"When will you return to the military?"
"My break is only five days."
"5 days?" Old Master Nan looked at Nan Hai Yan in surprise. "Considering the mission you got before, shouldn’t you get more holiday?"
"They got news that there’s an important movent from so people. I’m tasked to co there and make sure that the mission goes smoothly." Nan Hai Yan couldn’t divulge the details, so he only gave the general description.
Old Master Nan was also in the military and had already encountered these things a few tis in the past.
He naturally knew that so confidential missions required people to be of certain status to be able to know the content. Because of that, he never entered his son’s study and always ordered for it to be locked.
He had no interest to participate in these exhausting missions again.
"I see. Go and have so rest now. The butler will call you for dinner."
"Yes, Father."

Nan Hua went to her room to take a bath before playing with her phone. She had exchanged number with Long Qian Xing, but the two of them basically didn’t contact each other for the ti being.
The chat was practically empty.
Nan Hua poked the screen and typed.
[Nan Hua]: are you there?
There was reply almost right away.
[Long Qian Xing]: Yes?
[Nan Hua]: Virtual World?
[Long Qian Xing]: Let’s go, I have free ti.
[Nan Hua]: good.
Closing the chat, Nan Hua waked to the cabin and entered it to log into the Virtual World again.

Opening her eyes, Nan Hua recognized that she was still in the
ga’s square. There were many people there and Nan Hua simply walked out of the ga and then teleported to her room before going to the training hall.
The Virtual World has always been very crowded. Countless people were staying here for various reasons.
It didn’t take long for Nan Hua to reach the training hall and saw Long Qian Xing was already there. He stood quietly, watching the people coming and going around him with completely indifferent face.
He turned his head and nodded at Nan Hua.
"You’re here. Train directly or do you plan to try out the ntal strength test first? I heard that you haven’t been tested at all." Long Qian Xing pointed at the hall not far from the training hall.
Nan Hua blinked her eyes and then nodded. She was originally 1-3 when she was born. If her ntal strength didn’t increase, her family wouldn’t believe it.
Thankfully, it was easier to hide the fact that her ntal strength is stronger as compared to pretend that her ntal strength was higher. The test was done per level and once they passed, their ntal strength would be judged to that level.
That way, Nan Hua could just stop at the convenient rank for her.

"Yes."
Long Qian Xing looked at the holographic surrounding and suddenly asked, "Young Miss Nan, do you want to join my team in a competition?"
