Spit!

DarkSaber coughed up a mouthful of blood.

RagingBlood, the vice president of Shadow Legion, was stunned.

"Damn! ExoGenesis is really sothing, they even simulated throwing up blood!"

If RagingBlood had spent a huge amount of money to secure the Guild Token, full of excitent to create ExoGenesis' first guild and make a na for himself, only to find out halfway that soone else had already created the guild, he couldn't even imagine the emotional turmoil that would lead to. The feeling of throwing up blood couldn't fully express that level of frustration.

But when he thought about it, as Shadow Legion's vice president, RagingBlood realized he wasn't entirely innocent either. After all, they had mobilized all the guild's reserves just to bid on the Guild Token. For a long ti, Shadow Legion would be struggling financially. The idea was to use ExoGenesis' first guild to make a na for themselves, attract top-tier talent, and possibly secure sponsorships to make back so of their money. But now, with Blackshade getting ahead of them and creating the guild, things had gone sideways.

RagingBlood's anger flared up.

"Blackshade is going too far! We can't just let this slide!"

His words struck a chord with the other vice presidents, and soon they were all cursing Blackshade.

"Blackshade, this isn't over!"

DarkSaber wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, his voice cold as if it had co from the depths of hell.

But then he thought of sothing.

Where did Blackshade get the Guild Token from?

He had the Guild Token—why didn't he put it up for auction?

If Blackshade wanted it for himself, why didn't he create the guild earlier? Why wait until after DarkSaber had bid on the Guild Token, only to suddenly register his own guild?

In his rage, DarkSaber's mind was still sharp. He quickly realized this was a well-planned conspiracy aid at him—and at Shadow Legion!

At that mont, the excitent in the auction hall suddenly ca to a halt.

The guild leaders who had been bidding on equipnt looked at each other in confusion.

Had they just heard sothing unbelievable?

One of them hesitated, asking, "Didn't the announcent just say Blackshade created the first guild?"

Another guild leader imdiately chid in, "I thought I was hearing things too... but it seems to be true."

"Blackshade even has a Guild Token? He kept it under wraps pretty well, didn't let any news slip."

Another leader remarked, "Well, Blackshade has soloed so many bosses. Having a Guild Token isn't that surprising, especially since he's the one who took down the only two Dark Gold Grade bosses in the entire server. It's probably one of the spoils."

One guild leader dismissed it, "Never mind where Blackshade got the Guild Token from. What's important is that DarkSaber spent nearly three hundred million on the Guild Token, hoping to create ExoGenesis' first guild, but Blackshade beat him to it. He must be furious right now, almost ready to spit blood!"

At that, Drake couldn't help but smile, and said loudly, "My little brother sent a ssage saying that after the announcent, DarkSaber was so angry he literally vomited blood."

Drake was feeling fantastic inside.

DarkSaber had spent all that money, and in the end, he couldn't accomplish what he wanted. He'd lost a lot more than just money. Shadow Legion, even though it was a top-tier guild, couldn't afford such a loss.

And the worst part wasn't even the financial hit—it was the embarrassnt.

Before coming to the auction, Drake had heard that DarkSaber had been hyping himself up on the forum, trying to get attention and make a na for himself.

Well, he had certainly gotten attention—but not the kind he had hoped for.

At that mont, the forum exploded with discussions, just as Drake had predicted.

"Shocking! The first ExoGenesis guild was actually created by him!"

"Extra! Extra! Shadow Legion's leader vomits blood in the street, then rushes offline—likely to be sent for ergency treatnt!"

"Spending two hundred seventy million for nothing? I'd call DarkSaber the biggest fool of the century!"

Under the encouragent of so well-placed individuals, the forum was filled with posts about the Guild Token incident.

Of course, the posts were mostly mocking DarkSaber.

After all, the whole situation was just too dramatic.

Everyone had been expecting DarkSaber to create the first guild, but to their surprise, Blackshade had done it first.

As for who was behind all this mocking?

An anonymous Drake said, "I have no idea."

While mocking was one thing, Drake was secretly relieved.

If Blackshade hadn't warned him ahead of ti, he might have been the one looking like a fool.

Regardless of their friendship, it was clear Blackshade had ambitious plans, especially given the na of the guild he'd created. Even if Drake had won the Guild Token, it seed unlikely Blackshade would give up on creating the first guild.

Just as he was thinking about this, another guild leader called out, "Look! The second guild has appeared on the leaderboard—Shadow Legion!"

Everyone turned and noticed that the third guild ranking had been unlocked. There were only two nas on the list:

The first was Pinnacle, and second was the newly revealed Shadow Legion.

Drake sighed, "DarkSaber's resolve is impressive. Despite such a huge setback, he's still pushing forward to create the guild. I have to respect that!"

The surrounding guild leaders agreed on the surface, but inside they were thinking, You're trying to hold it in, but we can see you're about to burst out laughing.

Nonetheless, they did have to admit it was quite funny.

After a brief pause, the focus returned to the equipnt auction. The situation was already decided, and there wasn't much to gain by continuing to dwell on it. Might as well bid on so equipnt and level up.

Although there hadn't been an announcent about the other guilds being created, the leaderboard was still empty, and if anyone could get their guild's na up, it would be great publicity.

Cleric Sophie raised her hamr at the right mont: "One hundred fifty thousand, once. One hundred fifty thousand, twice. Any higher bids?"

There was a brief silence.

Sophie slamd the hamr down, "One hundred fifty thousand, three tis! Congratulations to Guild Leader OblivionSword for winning the Silver Grade Armor-Breaking Greatsword!"

The players around her clapped.

OblivionSword, the leader of Oblivion Reapers, humbly bowed and said, "Thank you! Thank you!"

Before the auction, Tristan had already sent Sophie the virtual card number. After OblivionSword completed the transfer, he confird it with Sophie, who then initiated the trade and handed over the greatsword.

Once the weapon was in hand, OblivionSword imdiately equipped it. The greatsword, gleaming with a cold light, looked impressive on his back.

"Once again, congratulations to Guild Leader OblivionSword for acquiring his prized weapon," Sophie smiled, then took out the second item—a Silver Grade Obsidian Plate Armor.

She expertly began her introduction: "Everyone, this Obsidian Plate Armor doesn't just offer excellent defense, but also boosts health by a thousand points. The main tank players who equip it will be able to challenge higher-level bosses. Starting bid is again set at one hundred thousand, let's see your bids!"

Once again, the auction hall was filled with heated competition. Premium gear was on the line, and who wouldn't want to fight for a chance to acquire it?

As for poor DarkSaber...

Well... ha.
