"I will wait for your words," Ma Zheng nodded his head toward Ren Ye, "I hope you will not disappoint ."
Ren Ye didn't speak as he nodded his head indifferently and looked for the vegetables section. As he made his way there, he heard familiar footsteps following him as he turned his head to look at Ma Zheng with strange eyes.
He was still following him!

"Is there a problem?" Ren Ye replied with a bored expression as though he could not wait to get away from this man.
Ma Zheng giggled amusingly as he scratched his head awkwardly, "I was not done yet. There is a few requirents I need before I agree to hire the man you are going recomnd to ."

Two red windows popped out of nowhere and the lights almost stained his eyes right as he uttered those outrageous words. Ma Zheng was rendered speechless and could not understand what he had done wrong.
"I am rely making a list of what I want in a bodyguard. I am not forcing him to find one that exactly fits every criteria!"
Ma Zheng explained himself in a defensive tone.
"It does not matter if he or she is going to fit or not. I am more than happy that I might be able to get soone who has the sa abilities and traits as he does!"

Ren Ye watched strangely as panic began to show on Ma Zheng's face. His originally calm and handso face was replaced with anxiety and panic, causing him to wonder what requirents he was thinking of.
"I heard n like him tend to favor hiring warrior French maids than savage-looking gentlen," Ren Ye thought with an increase disdain for Ma Zheng.
"I doubt just him," Old Yi chid in as he chuckled loudly, "If you had a maid fighting while serving hot coffee for you, I am sure you would be thrilled."

Ren Ye could not agree nor deny it as it was simply a man's nature to want sothing ethereal aesthetically beautiful while powerful enough to protect him for other n.
To be precise, not to protect but to evoke a sense of jealousy in other n's hearts, knowing that they wished they had receive the sa attention and be served by a beautiful maiden.
Just thinking of it, Ren Ye felt more disgust for Ma Zheng even though Ma Zheng was thinking otherwise.

His system shook with fright as cold sweats ran down his forehead, causing Ma Zheng to rub his forehead with anxiety.
"Did I really offend him with what I said? Was I too overbearing?"
Ma Zheng was overthinking and allowed his thoughts to wander far and wide before having his roaming thoughts interrupted by an abrupt cough.
Ren Ye coughed lightly, to bring Ma Zheng's back to Earth.
"Tell what are your requirents. I will make sure he is able to live up to your expectations," Ren Ye simply said in a nonchalant tone, causing the raging panic inside Ma Zheng's heart to calm down.
It did not matter because Ren Ye is able to alter Qi Yun's personality as he likes. Thus, making Qi Yun an extrely flexible tool for him to do. If Ma Zheng wanted, he will be able to change his personality to his likings.
Ma Zheng heaved a sigh of relief and spoke in a peaceful tone, "It is nice if he does not own an criminal record."
Ren Ye thought for a second before shaking his head, "I don't think he does. After all, I know him to be a moral and kind-hearted lad."
"Good. It is acceptable too if he has experiences of serving in the military. It doesn't have to be 5-10 years," Ma Zheng said in a thoughtful tone.
Ren Ye nodded his head, "He served in the military for many years and in a private infantry before."
"I genuinely hope he did not co from a shady background or got to where he is because of so secret connections he has. It is better to avoid hiring anyone who has been affiliated with other families or organization," Ma Zheng continued with a serious frown.
"His parents died. I am not sure if that sounds shady to you," Ren Ye replied with a deadpan expression as though he was referring to sothing unimportant.

Ma Zheng was speechless but didn't stop from saying anymore, "Absolutely have no connection with Ye Zhihao or I will file a report to the police!"
Ma Zheng exclaid determinedly as he clenched his fist.
Ren Ye shrugged dismissively, "What is the point of suggesting him to you if the both of us almost got possessed by one of his ploys?"
"You are right," Ma Zheng nodded his head solemnly and continued in a much lower tone.
"He must have a gentle heart. He does not need to follow my every order and instinctively does things out of good will," Ma Zheng said with a genuine smile.
"I must say it sounds like you are describing your ideal partner than the requirents intended for hiring," Ren Ye wanted to say aloud but stopped himself out of respect for Ma Zheng who is going to be his employer for the next few days.
"He is. He has helped many improvised children and donated much of his earnings to his charities," Ren Ye curled his lips into a smile.
"If you do not know, I have hired a person to investigate his whereabouts," Ma Zheng inford him of his secret plan, "He is rather capable than I originally thought."
Ren Ye was intrigued as he raised his eyebrows with interest, "You hired soone?"
"He is a well-known investigator and has the nose of a dog, that is what his boss likes to say about him but he has a rather strange and eccentric temperant from what I heard."
Ren Ye was interested as he asked, "What information has he gathered?"
Ma Zheng suddenly shook his head and replied, "He is currently in Switzerland and is facing charges pressed against him by a forr friend."
"…"
"I cannot say anymore because that is all I know about him. He will be heading here soon if he is able to make his friends drop the charges," Ma Zheng said with a hopeful voice.
Ren Ye did not understand why but there seems to be sothing compelling him to ask him more about the man but he eventually stopped himself from doing so.
"I hope the both of us will be able to escape the palms of that mad man," Ren Ye curled his lips into a cold smile, "I am sure you will be protected."
Ma Zheng suddenly chuckled and slapped his thighs out of amusent, "How are you so sure? Who was it that almost got his soul sucked by a specter? If I rember correctly, it was obviously not you."
Even at tis of importance, Ma Zheng still felt the need to joke around. Ren Ye did not want to waste anymore ti chit chatting with him as he quickly grabbed all of the stuff he needed to prepare hot pot.
"What are you rushing to buy?" Ma Zheng watched as Ren Ye ran around the at section in an almost childish manner.
"I am preparing hotpot for my family," Ren Ye quickly replied and continued to run around, scanning for ingredients.
"Hotpot?" Ma Zheng was surprised but didn't say anything. He recalled he have not had hotpot with his family for an extrely long ti considering his sister was always out and about and his parents were always abroad.
He could rarely get them together in one place. Now that he heard Ren Ye has a family of his own, he slightly felt a hint of jealous inside his heart.
"I wonder what does it feel like if we could have so ti together as a family?" Ma Zheng sighed inside his head and thought of the last ti he saw his parents.
Although it had not been long ago, Ma Zheng could still rember the cold and disdainful expression his father wore when he gave up his position to him; initially believing him to be incompetent.
"I have lived a hedonistic life before but now that I have co to this Earth and retrieved the mories of this body, I understood the value of dignity and family very much."
Ma Zheng could not bla his father for alienating him nor his sister for considering him an annoyance to her. His mother could not care less about what he did as she had always been the only one who was warm to him throughout his entire life.
"Won and yachts? I have them all except they no longer feel as fulfilling as they used to," Ma Zheng sighed and subsconsiouly made a plan to invite his parents and sibling to have a nice dinner together.
Ren Ye finally got all of the ingredients he needed as his phone suddenly rang.
