Ren Ye stretched out the shards in his palm while sitting in his car, with a perplexed look on his face. On his left side, Ren Jia snored softly in her nap and didn't bother waiting for her Papa to co back.
Ren Ye didn't hesitate as he imdiately said, "I have a bunch of abilities in the system that I can use to inscribe on the shards."
"I am a bit worried about your condition though."
"You don't have to worry about ," Old Yi chuckled and continued with a plain voice, completely carefree, "I will enter into a slumber and wake up later on tomorrow."
"As long as you aren't getting in serious trouble, it is nothing."
"The system won't be active until tomorrow, think thoroughly before inscribing them on your shards."
Ren Ye nodded his head and had also co to a conclusion, "I have decided before that trouble is unavoidable but preparations must always be made. I am not worried about myself but more about the others around ."
Having keen eyesight doesn't guarantee you won't face any accidents, it was always a good thing to be cautious. Whether Ren Ye was agile or not, one single mishap could lead to a much worse consequence.
Ren Ye shot a glance at the napping little girl and continued to speak, "I will make two charms today. I have to work today as well so why not give you an early rest."
"If that is so, I have no opposition to go against you," Old Yi complied and said with a smile, "I must say, making charms is like making take an early nap."
"When you have no use of , you could go make one hehe."
Ren Ye nodded his head and activated his system, he took a careful look at all of his abilities listed in the system. There were many options for him to choose but he could only choose two and the two of them must be beneficial in case of an accident.

There were four options to choose from which were pretty many in Ren Ye's eyes, he thought carefully before picking two of them.
"Teleportation is a must, that is sothing I can't throw away no matter what. The others such as Aim Accuracy and Shapeshifting are out of the question, they won't be able to help with anything at all and one of them has already been used."
This leaves him with two options left, Supernatural Strength and Agility. He carefully visualizes himself in a troubling situation and chose one of them to use in his perspective. Although he was actually picking them for his daughter.
Supernatural Strength can't possibly be used by a three-year-old child but to an adult being, it was extrely useful to abuse people with it. Agility, on the other hand, was also useful if the person is in need of help or wants to run away after beating soone up, they could flee the scene using it.
It was also suitable for an adult being to have Agility as well.
Teleportation will definitely go to Ren Jia but he will make another one for himself. Not that he needs it but it was always nice to be prepared before a disaster.
In addition, selling it to other cultivators and auctioning it off could make a fortune.
Ren Ye thought with a calculating face, he smirked and ca to a conclusion. He will make two of them.
Ren Ye opened the charms tab and placed the two shards on his thigh.

He lowered his eyes and cast them onto the button below, he pressed it using his mind and all of a sudden, two warnings ca up on the screen.

Ren Ye did not need to do anything as it was Old Yi's duty to confirm, the system need his confirmation as well due to it also affecting him, "Yes."

Ren Ye pressed [Yes] and all of a sudden, the tab changed, and appeared another one. It was the list of abilities he could choose from.
He quickly picked Teleportation and Agility and another tab appeared.

"Last couple of words before I go into a slumber. Always be on guard against others and use the acquired knowledge and abilities I have provided to your advantage."
"I will be able to see and read your thoughts but I won't be able to help you in any trouble," Old Yi warned Ren Ye solemnly.
"I know," Ren Ye replied with reassurance and took his words to heart.
He had been alone in the past and the knowledge he had acquired, they were more than enough to keep him safe.
"Then click Inscribe."
Ren Ye didn't wait any longer and clicked [Inscribe].

He didn't have to wait long as the shards on his thigh began erging from the ground and floated in the air, the two shards went in a circle two tis before a golden light shot out from them.
They returned back to their original state and landed on his thigh silently, Ren Ye took both of them and carefully scanned for any changes.
There were indeed so changes as two lines of letters were inscribed onto the two stones, they were of a completely different language. Ren Ye could distinguish them as the language Old Yi had spoken in the past.

[Agility: the spell can be activated when the user's heart starts beating two tis faster than the normal speed.]
"These are pretty impressive," Ren Ye couldn't help but praise them, he turned to look at Ren Jia with inquiring eyes before putting the charms in the folder.
As of today, he won't depend on Old Yi.

Ren Ye got a ride request from soone who goes by the na 'Seductive Queen Yin' with an adorable kitten picture, the person was located at Luxury Hotel.
He imdiately accepted the first ever ride of his job and turned on the engine, Ren Jia also woke up from the sound of the engine.
She rubbed her tired eyes and turned to glance at her Papa before her curious eyes fell on two stones in front of them, "Papa! What are they?"
"Did Papa go to pick stones without ?"
Her cheeks slightly bulged as she glanced at her Papa with a sad expression, Ren Ye's features twitched, and coughed awkwardly while his eyes were on the road.
"They are charms I made for you."
Ren Ye pointed at the right charm and said with a solemn voice, "That one is the one you will have to keep with you at all tis."
"When I tell you to activate it, think about your favorite place and whisper the na into it, okay?"
His voice softened as though he was afraid she was unable to hear him clearly, the little girl was clever and listened carefully. She nodded her head obediently and pouted her lips adorably,
"Does Papa know what my favorite place is? How would Papa find if Papa doesn't know?"
"Mm?" Ren Ye's mouth produced a small sound as a thoughtful expression appeared on his face, "Let guess."
Ren Ye rembered the little girl's favorite thing to do and have was to eat her ice cream, he assud it to be her favorite place in the world.
"Is it the ice cream place?" Ren Ye shot her a knowing grin.
Ren Jia burst into giggles and replied with a satisfied voice, "Correct! Papa knows the best."
"I thought Papa wouldn't be able to guess, hehe."
Ren Ye snorted and didn't speak for a long ti, gradually driving to Luxury Hotel. He stopped the car in front of the high-rising building. Luxury Hotel was one of the few five stars hotels in the city, they were nicknad 'The King of All Hotels.'
It belonged to a hotel franchise owned by the Xiao Family.
In the front, luxurious cars were stationed publically and many high-profile business people entered the hotel hand in hand with alluring won whose entire bodies were covered in luxuries.
Ren Ye sent a text ssage, informing the person he was waiting downstairs. The person didn't respond to his ssage and sent him a thumbs up as acknowledgnt.
"Papa, is this our first custor?"

Ren Ye laughed bitterly and engaged in small talks with his daughter, seemingly discussing Ren Jia's interest in art and Ren Ye's advice to her.
Before long, Ren Ye imdiately got a call.
He picked up the call and heard heavy breathing from the phone, his face imdiately darkened.
Isn't this too shaless? Don't you have the tiniest respect for a poor driver like ?
Although Ren Ye didn't say it aloud, he could vaguely guess what activity the person on the phone was engaging in, his mouth twitched with annoyance, and hung up the phone.
After a long ti, Ren Ye received another call.
This ti, Ren Ye contemplated if he should pick up or not. It rang continuously before Ren Ye decided to pick up the call, a hoarse feminine voice resounded in his ears,
"Why did you hang up the call when I called you?"
There was unconcealed anger in her voice as she scolded him shalessly, Ren Ye pursed his lips and replied back calmly, "Ma'am, I waited too long for you to respond."
"I had to hang up the call because my phone's battery is running out."
"Shouldn't you charge your battery full if you have to go to work with that phone? Buy a new one! Humph!"
Ren Ye's mouth twitched, he had wanted to call the woman unreasonable but then again, she made valid points. The excuses were rely his attempt to get on her good side and get a five-star rating.
The woman on the phone didn't continue speaking to him as Ren Ye appeared to have heard whisperings and another male voice on the other side of the call.
Eventually, she snorted and responded rudely, "Wait down there, I'll go down now."
She didn't leave him the chance to respond as she hung up after spitting out those words, Ren Ye curled his lips slightly and rubbed his chin with a dark expression.
"This voice? I think I have heard it before."
