The sudden voice made everyone shiver.

When entering this weird dinsion, nobody had expected there to be sobody residing here.

Yu Cheng paled, and he started to feel ill.

Just why had he gone to such great lengths to enter this place?

None other than for that opportunity to surpass the Heavenly Dao.

He knew of this place owing to several obscure factors, so he had believed that nobody except the Martial Lord had gone in. Now that he was finally inside, he learned that sobody was living here, so was that opportunity still an opportunity? Did it still exist? And what was the point, even if it still existed? He beca so conflicted that he even forgot about Tang Jie.

As this voice spoke, a woman appeared in front of the tower.

This was a gorgeous beauty dressed in rainbow clothes. In her hands, she carried a flower basket and a small hoe, apparently having co out to pick flowers. She didn't seem surprised by their presence, simply smiling and nodding.

Everyone glanced at each other.

Then they simply watched the woman, their hostile relationship seemingly no longer as important.

The woman, unconcerned with what they were thinking, walked to the garden while saying, "Guests, you have co at the perfect ti. I've co to gather the Millennial Intoxication now that it's awake. Once I've finished collecting it, I can brew a fine wine for everyone to enjoy."

Just like that, she entered the garden.

The savage flailing roots shrank back into the ground as the woman entered, while the fairies circled around her, jibbering and jabbering as if to warn her.

The woman smiled. "I know, I know. No need to be nervous. They're not monsters; they won't hurt you… Oh my, they're not demons from beyond either. You shouldn't daydream so much, okay?"

Apparently, the fairies had taken them for devils.

But there really was a pack of devils here from the Primordial Fog Domain. Did the woman know?

Yu Cheng said, "This is a strange place. Everyone, stay on guard."

The woman had appeared in such a mysterious way and lived in this bizarre dinsion, so nobody dared to underestimate her or try anything.

The woman casually strolled up to a plant bearing a blue fruit. As she used the hoe to dig up the plant, the plant scread, upon which the woman soothed, "Don't cry, don't cry. I'm just taking so of your roots. Don't be so petty."

She pulled the plant out of the loosened soil and took one of its roots. Putting the plant back, she placed the root into her basket.

As the root fell into the basket, it suddenly began to exude a terrifying pressure.

It was such a majestic and ancient aura that it felt more appropriate for so legendary horror.

Fortunately, the sensation lasted for only a split second, vanishing once the root fell completely into the basket, but everyone present had felt that enormous pressure.

Even the Western Heaven Buddha Ancestor was stunned.

Everything they had encountered upon entering this dinsion was just too weird, even a root exuding such otherworldly pressure.

A devil chief awkwardly said, "That was a pretty good illusion."

"That wasn't an illusion," Tang Jie indifferently said.

Everyone was horrified by these words.

Not an illusion? Then what was that root? If one root possessed such terrifying power, what about the plant?

If each of these plants was that terrifying, then it was no wonder they were practically helpless against them.

The woman collected a few more flowers and fruits as they watched, after which she walked back to the tower. "Guests, please co with ."

Nobody moved, everyone simply staring at each other.

Tang Jie chuckled and followed.

Yu Cheng grunted, "Let's see what she's up to."

He also followed.

Thus, the Buddha Ancestor, Three Sages Ancestor, Nine Disaster, Wang Yao, and Immortal Ji Yao followed as well, and with their bosses going in, the other Immortals naturally had to go as well. In a strange developnt, forr enemies were now walking in side by side. They exchanged hostile and wary gazes with each other, but they were also carefully observing their surroundings for fear that sothing might rush out at them.

As they entered the tower, they found themselves in a spacious hall.

Exquisitely designed chairs in a style not found anywhere in the chiliocosm were laid out, and there was a long table that stretched from one end of the hall to the other, with candles arranged atop it. The walls on both sides were covered in paintings and murals of a bizarre style.

A man sat at the end of the long table. Upon seeing everyone co in, he smiled. "Welco, honored guests."

He clapped his hands, and various delicious foods appeared on the table.

The woman chuckled. "Guests, please be seated. This banquet table has been here for ages, but only now can it serve soone besides and my husband—a matter worth celebrating. I will take care of this Millennial Intoxication first and join you later."

She carried the basket off to the rear.

Soone finally lost their patience.

A devil chief shouted, "Enough! Just who are you people? Why are you here? Where is that Heavenly Dao opportunity—"

Before he could finish, the man at the end of the table waved his hand. "Quiet."

The devil chief's mouth imdiately sewed itself up as if he had been born that way, sealing his ability to speak.

Panicked, the devil chief tried to tear his mouth open but failed to do so, even ending up with his hands stuck to his mouth.

Everyone was stunned at this man's power.

Only Tang Jie and Yu Cheng could tell that this was the power of a Dao.

A Dao belonging to this bizarre dinsion.

But his ability to use it was many tis greater than Tang Jie's.

Tang Jie reacted to all this very calmly.

Smiling, he said, "Then I must thank the host for your courtesy."

He was the first to sit down.

Yu Cheng clearly had the sa idea, sitting down at the sa ti as Tang Jie, coincidentally right across from each other. They stared at each other with fiery eyes, as if they were saying, It's a truce for now, but once we get back, we're fighting to the death.

With their leaders sitting down, the others could only do the sa.

By this point, only thirty-so people were left, and only when they were seating themselves at the table did they discover that there were exactly as many chairs as needed to seat them all. Shocked, they began to wonder if these foods had simply been conjured up or if they had been prepared long beforehand.

Once everyone was seated, the man pointed at the food. "Please, eat."

This food had co out of nowhere, and the situation itself was so weird that nobody dared to start eating.

It was once more Tang Jie who was rather carefree, grabbing a leg of what appeared to be roast chicken and slowly taking a bite of it.

But as he did, he felt sothing warm flowing into him, bringing along with it a massive flood of energy that made his body, which he thought had already reached its limit, grow stronger once more.

Tang Jie was delighted.

A piece of at was able to bring him such strength? This was an amount that even clearing a Dao armant of creatures had failed to reach.

Tang Jie gobbled the at down and then digested the energy through the Parting Classic, after which he started on his second.

In a flash, Tang Jie had gobbled down an entire plate of "roast chicken".

The Immortals were gobsmacked. So of the bolder ones followed his example and clearly felt the precious energy contained within the food as well, their eyes glowing as they started to chow down. Only then did the feast table start to grow livelier.

"Take your ti, take your ti. There's no rush."

The woman from before walked back in with a crystal wine bottle.

The woman tapped the bottle, upon which the wine flew out on its own and poured itself into everyone's cups. She smiled and said, "This is the Millennial Intoxication I just brewed, a most llow and fragrant wine. Please help yourselves."

The Immortals, who already had their appetite piqued by the food, guzzled down the wine. That bottle was clearly so sort of treasure, and no matter how much wine they drank, more wine would always be poured.

But Tang Jie simply took a sip and stopped. "We have been wined and dined, so can our host now explain what is going on?"

Everyone fell silent and turned to the man and woman.

The man smiled. "Did you not first figure out what this place was before coming here? Rather than asking , wouldn't it be better to first ask the person who led you here?"

With these words, everyone turned to Yu Cheng.

It was through Yu Cheng's efforts that they had been able to enter this place, so he was logically the one who knew the most about it.

Tang Jie chuckled. "Yu Cheng, at this point, is there any point in continuing to keep things a secret? Why don't you do as our host said and tell us what you know, after which we can hear from our host."

Yu Cheng grunted. "You basically know everything that I know."

"It's still better if we get the whole story."

Yu Cheng pondered these words before finally saying, "It all started more than ten thousand years ago…"
