"Hahaha, finally arrived!"
A brazen roar resounded through the world.
The celebratory cheers of the Rosecloud Domain cultivators sounded like the cackling of demons in the ears of the fiends.
A massive fireball landed not far from the North Sea, sending flas blazing into the heavens.
And then a figure speedily flew out of the distance.
It was Fairy Gu Ye.
This highest existence of Horizon Ocean Pavilion reached Tang Jie in only a few steps. Looking down at the battlefield with a smile, she said, "Fighting evenly with a True Immortal? Tang Jie, you really do only get more and more surprising."
"I just took advantage of their weakness. It's not a big deal," Tang Jie replied as he swung his axe eighteen more tis, creating a whirlwind that tore through space and shattered all the sealing ice.
"Do you need my help?" Fairy Gu Ye asked.
"If Fairy is willing, then please help keep out those annoying guys on that end," Tang Jie said, pointing out the four Fiend Gods being kept out by the Sea Reversing Formation.
Fairy Gu Ye looked where Tang Jie was pointing and was imdiately stunned. "This is… an Immortal formation using Five Elentals. Tang Jie, where did you get these five babies?"
Tang Jie bitterly smiled. "Let's save that for later. Can't you see I'm reaching my limit here?"
Fairy Gu Ye laughed. "Relax. I'm here."
Holding an enemy off was a tiring task, but Fairy Gu Ye still accepted without hesitation for no other reason than that it was Tang Jie making the request.
For the present Rosecloud Domain, Tang Jie's status had long equaled Yun Tianlan's.
A surge of Immortal power flowed into the formation. With the support of an Earth Immortal, the Sea Reversing Formation had a great burden taken off it, and stabilized.
But Tang Jie still failed to suppress the Ice Dragon Emperor.
In the end, this was a True Immortal. Even though it was heavily injured and had fought with the Dark Night Ancestor, its imnse power and nurous arts ant that it was no easy opponent. Even with his perfect body, Tang Jie still had a tough road ahead of him to gain victory.
He could sense that he would be the ultimate victor, but the Ice Dragon Emperor's incredible tenacity ant that this victory would take much longer than expected.
Defeating it would take one day, or even several.
Tang Jie couldn't accept this.
Ti was incredibly valuable, particularly in the early stages of the war. Every mont delayed was a mont where the Rosecloud Domain was missing an elite fighter. While the Rosecloud Domain had co in with an impressive show of force, the Divine Spring Domain still had the ho court advantage. If they went out in full force, they would be the ones with the upper hand. The Rosecloud Domain had to take advantage of their unpreparedness.
If they couldn't maximize their montum in this ti, then once their enemies caught their breath, the humans would have to pay the price.
Thinking this, Tang Jie finally activated the Heavenly Dao Realm.
A mont later, the Ice Dragon Emperor saw the world go dark.
A black hole appeared, exerting an irresistible pull.
Not even with its formidable powers could the Ice Dragon Emperor resist this pull, and it flew toward the black hole.
"NO!" the Ice Dragon Emperor cried out in fear.
It knew that if it were pulled into this black hole, it would be utterly slain.
It crazily twisted and struggled, but no matter what it did, it could not escape the pull of the black hole.
As it neared the black hole, the Ice Dragon Emperor knew that this was the end, and it yelled, "Even if I die, it won't go the way you want!"
Its body began to radiate light, energy pulsing in all directions.
Self-detonation!
The old dragon was self-detonating!
"Damn it!" Tang Jie was in a predicant. If he let it self-detonate, he wouldn't be able to get its corpse, which would be a massive loss.
He instantly exerted the will of the Heavenly Dao, forbidding any self-detonation within his realm.
All the light coming from the dragon's body was instantly sucked into the black hole.
"This… What's happening?" the dragon said in alarm.
It had no idea what sort of art this human had used to stop its self-detonation, but it was already completely cowed by Tang Jie's divine powers.
A mont later, the black hole began to grind away at the dragon's flesh, pulverizing it down to nothing. Even though the dragon had a tenacious life force, all this gained for it was endless pain.
But Tang Jie wasn't faring well either. To extend the ti limit of the Heavenly Dao Realm, he had set only a few simple laws for it, still relying mostly on his other abilities. But this shifted most of the burden onto himself.
While the dragon was devoured by the black hole, Tang Jie was rapidly exhausting his own energy reserves.
It could be said that both sides were going all-out.
However, Tang Jie was bound to be the victor of such a contest. After all, Tang Jie only had to consider how much he was willing to pay for his victory. If he wanted, he could strengthen the Heavenly Dao Realm, even to the point that the victory was instantly decided. anwhile, the dragon could only decide how much Tang Jie paid.
It also seed to realize this. In that black hole, it could sense a supre power, akin to the pressure of the Heavenly Dao, and the old dragon knew that it had finally reached the end of its road.
It suddenly laughed. "Humans and fiends have been fighting for ten thousand years. One wins today and dies tomorrow, all part of the cycle of the Heavenly Dao… Tell your na!"
"Tang Jie," Tang Jie said after so thought.
"'Tang Jie'… Tang Jie…" The dragon muttered the na before laughing, "I am a Supre True Immortal who traversed a thousand domains, the lord of the sea fiends and a revered one of Divine Spring. Even if I die, I will die standing tall, and I will make my killer pay a bitter price!!!"
Tang Jie instantly felt an imnse surge of energy.
Initially, he thought that the dragon was trying to self-detonate again, but then he realized that this wasn't the case. The dragon was instantly releasing all its defenses, letting the black hole destroy it. Without its defenses, the old dragon was instantly ground to nothing, the imnse power of the black hole even preventing revival.
But at that mont, Tang Jie felt that sothing wasn't right.
He instantly felt a searing sensation erupting in his body, bursting out and setting him almost entirely ablaze.
Tang Jie flew up with a yelp. The black hole disappeared, leaving only him and the everburning fla on his body.
The Eternal Fla!
"Curses!" Tang Jie bellowed in anger as the flas scorched him.
He finally realized what the dragon had done. As it was dying, the dragon had decided to make one last show of resistance and contaminated him with the Eternal Fla.
The Eternal Fla was an extrely problematic fla, and its most terrifying property was not its power, but its inextinguishability. It was this fla that had placed the dragon in endless tornt.
Tang Jie made several attempts and failed to extinguish the Eternal Fla, with even the Contrafla Mantra failing to absorb it. anwhile, he was finding it difficult to endure the pain inflicted by the fla.
But Tang Jie wasn't completely powerless. If he activated the Heavenly Dao Realm, then all would go as he willed, and even the Eternal Fla would be vanquished.
It was just that he had already activated the Heavenly Dao Realm twice to deal with the Ice Dragon Emperor, so activating it a third ti made him feel he was taking a huge loss.

But Tang Jie's situation was different.
Even in the worst-case scenario where the Fire Elental couldn't deal with the Eternal Fla, didn't he still have the Heavenly Dao Realm?
And what if he used them together?
Tang Jie suddenly had countless ideas.
He decided to leave the Eternal Fla for now, gathering up the ground-up remains of the ice dragon and flying off, still covered in flas.
In the distance, a giant wall of water was still keeping out the sea fiend army led by the four Fiend Gods. The power of an Immortal formation was on full display, even holding fast against Fiend Gods if not for its depleting energy.
The attacks from the sea fiends were rapidly consuming the energy of the Five Elentals. If not for Fairy Gu Ye's tily arrival, they might have already passed their breaking point.
But Fairy Gu Ye couldn't restore the energy that had been lost, only lessen the rate at which the remainder was used. This allowed the Five Elentals to endure for a little longer, but things had started to get difficult again. The five newborn Elentals even started to wail like babies, the air resounding with cries like, "I can't do this anymore!"
These voices had a demonic soul-paralyzing effect that gave the four Fiend Gods splitting headaches, and even Fairy Gu Ye frowned. "So noisy."
But she knew that this was the Five Elentals releasing the last of their energy, a manifestation of the Sea Reversing Formation's power. At the sa ti, it indicated that the Elentals were reaching their limit.
"They can't hold on much longer!" a Fiend God shouted.
They attacked with even greater gusto.
"Is that so?" an icy voice rang out. A mont later, the blazing Tang Jie stepped out of the void. In one step, he reached a Fiend God and pierced through its chest with a clawed hand.
His divine might swept through the battlefield, terrifying the fiends.
"This… How?" The four Fiend Gods stared at Tang Jie in shock.
Never before had a single human exerted so much pressure on them. Not even that Earth Immortal from earlier had done so, yet this Soul Projection cultivator had done it.
