Nirvana dumbly stared at the broken mirror.
He didn't dare to believe his eyes.
Tang Jie had just punched it and it shattered?
Shattered!
"Bastard! I'll take you down no matter what it takes!" Nirvana stirred from his shock and let out a frenzied roar as he charged out.
He finally revealed his true appearance.
It was that of a giant snake, similar to that dragon skeleton from before. Although it wasn't as big as the skeleton dragon, it seed even more powerful and intimidating.
The aura emanating from his body was characteristic of ghost Gods, imbued with a profound majesty. But the observant would realize that there was weakness hidden behind it all, that this was all just a facade.
The God Immortal Slayer of the Immortal Emperor had just been too powerful.
The mont Nirvana appeared, Eternal Night sensed it.
He laughed, "Nirvana, you really were severely injured, even forced to show your true body. Good, good, you had better hold on. Don't go getting defeated by your forr subordinates now! Once I destroy this Soul-Sealing Death Prison, I'll be taking your Primal Soul!"
The form of a giant Nether God appeared on the horizon as Eternal Night revealed his true form to join in on the offensive.
The Nether Emperors also stared in shock at Nirvana. While they had been caught up in the blast from the Radiant Evil Punishing Seal, they were still Nether Emperors. They were wounded but alive, and when they saw the Nether God they served fighting a human, they were both delighted and confused.
They were delighted because there was no doubt that Nirvana was injured, and confused because they had no idea where this human had co from.
i Huaping was so scared that his steel body went soft. Mustering his courage, he tried to retreat while Tang Jie was busy with Nirvana.
But Tang Jie still had the energy to keep an eye on him, chuckling, "Did I let you leave?"
i Huaping froze.
Tang Jie said, "Although you're just a king, if used properly, you can still be useful. Go and kill those Nether Attendants. Bring back their Death God weapons!"
Tang Jie flicked off so tal from the Sovereign Blade, which turned into a chain that wound around i Huaping. This chain was both a weapon and his shackles. At the sa ti, i Huaping felt a will rising up from the depths of his soul and taking control of his body.
He wanted to cry out in terror, but he found that he couldn't. His face changed into Tang Jie's and let out a strange cackle. Swinging around the chain, he charged into the Nether God palace to hunt down the surviving Nether Attendants and seize their weapons.
Nirvana was enraged that Tang Jie still had spare energy to do other things.
He was a Nether God!
A God on high, yet he was being ignored!
He could be killed, but not humiliated!
Nirvana roared, "Even if I die, I'll have your life! Take this!"
Even though he had lost exchange after exchange with Tang Jie, from beginning to end, Nirvana still thought that he was stronger. He had only lost because of other factors, like Tang Jie's strong weapons or strange techniques.
But no matter what tricks he had, strength was still supre.
With this confidence, Nirvana spat out a black flood of energy from his snake head.
He had concentrated his Nether God power in this strike. He could tell that the Sovereign Blade was good for offense but not defense, so exchanging attacks was the best choice.
Nirvana's penetrating insight as a Nether God had allowed him to imdiately find the right counterasure.
Alas, Tang Jie didn't have only the tricks he had already shown.
A light erged from the top of Tang Jie's head. Brighter than the Radiant Evil Punishing Seal, it created a barrier around Tang Jie, and the black flood failed to push through it.
Nirvana was shocked, and when he looked at what exactly was floating above Tang Jie's head, he found that it was a slowly turning furnace.
The Myriad Yin Yang Furnace.
The Sovereign Blade was his weapon, and the Myriad Yin Yang Furnace was his shield. The formation of 108 divine treasures could create enough power to fend off the full force of a Nether God. Since there's a human, drop the defenses and hurry and kill him already!"
He seed like a righteous protector of the country at this point, seeking to drive out foreign enemies before settling internal conflicts.
Alas, the Nether Emperors knew that letting this guy in would be even worse. There was only one human, and his target was Nirvana, but Eternal Night's target was everything.
Moreover, Nirvana was the one who controlled the formation, and nobody except him could shut it off.
Eternal Night yowled in anger and helplessness.
But ghosts didn't survive by flapping their lips, and that he had gone to the effort of attempting to negotiate was amazing. Thus, he continued his barrage, hoping that he could get in before the battle within was decided and that human took the spoils.
His hopes were quickly dashed.

After slicing his sword across Nirvana's body, Tang Jie laughed. "To be honest, you don't need to be afraid of this sword, because this sword isn't going to be the thing that kills you."
"What?" Nirvana was startled.
He didn't understand what Tang Jie ant.
"You swallowed that Primal Soul Stone not too long ago, right?" Tang Jie asked.
Nirvana trembled.
Tang Jie continued, "I ssed with that Primal Soul Stone."
Nirvana felt his heart fall to rock bottom.
"That's impossible! You couldn't have done sothing that I wouldn't have noticed! You're only at Deification!"
Tang Jie smirked in disdain and put away his sword.
He looked at Nirvana and said, "Whether you believe or not, you'll find out soon. I know that many tricks might not work against you, and that you might even have a plan to escape. Other ghosts might think your death is certain, but you might not. But I know that you will die. You died the mont you swallowed that Primal Soul Stone. That last attack was simply the match for the fuse, and now… the fuse is lit."
As he spoke, Nirvana's giant snake body began to shake, strange lumps bulging out from it. These were extrely small lumps, comparable in size to that of a mosquito bite on a human, perhaps even smaller.
But there were millions of them, all of them bubbling out of Nirvana's body.
"What is this? What are they?" Nirvana screeched as he stared at his body.
"The innocent souls that died because of you," Tang Jie coldly replied.
As he spoke, the lumps burst open to reveal faces that were twisted in pain, despair, sorrow, anger, or fear, their cries rging together into a chorus.
Their song did not resound in the Nether Domain, only within Nirvana's soul, the countless lantations and the vast tide of information packed into them almost bursting apart Nirvana's Divine Soul. The wave of negative emotions and information blasted his fragile soul, causing him to cry out in agony.
"It's them! Them!"
He finally knew who they were.
The countless resentful souls of the Fla Yang Domain!
They had co for revenge!
"Yes, it's them!" Tang Jie coldly barked. "As you said, there's no way I could place a trap in the Primal Soul Stone that you wouldn't notice. But this can't be considered a trap. I just let them in on so information, awakening these souls and drawing them out…"
Yes, this was what Tang Jie had done.
Awakening resentful souls was no easy task, but Tang Jie, who had the black grains and had entered the Plane of Reincarnation, could. He had awakened the vast number of souls from the Fla Yang Domain and guided them to find Nirvana.

He had disappeared.
All that was left was that fiend pellet and the Primal Soul, which the resentful souls had left specifically for Tang Jie.

A reply from the resentful souls.
