"Previously, I was thinking about what Type of additional attributes I needed, whether it be Attack Power or sothing that could enhance hunting efficiency. Now, it seems that focusing on a Protective Type skill really makes it more powerful. The na ’Spirit Barrier’ truly fits the capacity of the additional attributes."

Zhang Yanhang felt that if he wanted to develop his Attack Power in this regard, it would be better to find legitimate Attack Type skills or see if there were any Spells related to the Scroll Dragon Bloodline during the upgrade process.

"This ti, after raising the ’Supre Will’ to LV. MAX, the Professional skills I acquired upon reaching the Second Tier have all been upgraded to LV. MAX, or rather, it also incidentally brought all skills to LV. MAX or higher.

Next, I can peacefully upgrade all my skills to the Original Stage one by one, although upgrading Original Skills often needs six-figure Soul points. Fortunately, the Goblin Plain is relatively affluent, which should support this part of the Soul points consumption."

After accomplishing this minor goal set long ago (at the ti of reaching the Second Tier), Zhang Yanhang was very pleased because it ant he could start planning a new skill upgrade sche.

Since he had already raised the ’Technique Immunity Skill’ to Original LV.5, he planned to first gather a hundred thousand Soul points and see what the additional Original Stage attributes at LV.6 would be like.

Then, after upgrading Technique Immunity, he imdiately began preparing to upgrade ’Seeking Fortune and Avoiding Evil’ to LV.6—this was an Elder-level skill that had accompanied Zhang Yanhang for a long ti and definitely took priority.

After upgrading these two skills, Zhang Yanhang planned to then enhance two other Elder-level skills from the First Tier Period—’Gun Master’ and ’Fighting Master,’—which also needed to be upgraded as the passive bonuses added Attack Power effortlessly.

As for the ’Death Wave Skill,’ which ideally should be on the sa level as Technique Immunity, Zhang Yanhang was not in a rush to upgrade it, given the current damage was already quite sufficient to instantly kill most Second-tier Monsters.

Of course, that was just one reason. The main reason actually was that Zhang Yanhang feared the Stamina consumption of ’Death Wave Skill’ might explode after reaching Original LV.6, given that even the current consumption was sowhat unsustainable, let alone after reaching Original.

Even if the Death Wave Skill could potentially kill Third Tier monsters after reaching Original, the Stamina cost would be terrifying. He might be drained after just a few uses.

That would not be very practical, since nobody wants to fight for five seconds and then recharge (sleep) for eight hours. That would be too foolish.

Zhang Yanhang felt that this prediction about the skill consumption increase was very likely to happen, as every level increase in ’Death Wave Skill’ had resulted in a consumption increase, and hitting levels like LV.6 or LV.MAX would imdiately bring a surge.

Considering his current imnse stamina limit, he could only manage about sixty full-force usages of Death Wave Skill. So, an increase in skill drain reducing the number of uses to less than two digits indeed made sense.

Thus, despite the high significance of the Death Wave Skill, Zhang Yanhang ranked its upgrade priority quite low, only slightly higher than the last-ranked ’Supre Will Skill.’

As for why ’Supre Will Skill’ was ranked last, that was obviously because he had just upgraded it to LV. MAX, and Zhang Yanhang felt that there was no urgent need to upgrade it for the ti being.

Moreover, and more critically, Zhang Yanhang felt the current defensive effects of ’Supre Will Skill’ were already quite perfect, with further improvents being of little significance, as he could already protect against so attacks from Fifth Tiers.

Zhang Yanhang was not soone who went out of his way to provoke trouble; he normally didn’t even bother with Fourth Tier Awakened (as Gu Mingyue might suggest?) and definitely wouldn’t provoke a Fifth Tier, let alone a Sixth Tier where he wouldn’t even know where to start.

After all, even the white-bearded old Taoist from Lao Mountain Taoism was only a Fifth Tier. In such a situation, enhancing the skill level of ’Supre Will’ beyond this point was unnecessary since he wouldn’t encounter enemies of such levels.

Therefore, while military preparation was good, vain preparation was not, equating to jousting with the air. It was better to allocate that portion of resources to other skills that needed upgrading more urgently like ’Indestructible Golden Body,’ which could tangibly increase Physical Defense.

If he really did face a Sixth Tier enemy, being able to withstand their Spiritual Attacks but not their Physical Attacks would be in vain, and he’d be killed instantly. Thus, in such cases, it would be better to first upgrade the ’Indestructible Golden Body Skill.’

Therefore, out of the seven skills needing promotion and upgrade to Original LV. 6, Technique Immunity and Seeking Fortune and Avoiding Evil were ranked in the first tier, Gun Master and Fighting Master in the second, while the remaining Indestructible Golden Body, Death Wave, and Supre Will were in the third tier, or the bottom three.

"The next upgrade process will just follow this plan step by step, starting with gathering two hundred and fifty thousand Soul points for upgrading Technique Immunity and Seeking Fortune and Avoiding Evil to Original LV.6, and in the anti, squeezing in ti to raise the skill level of Limitless Universe Skill."

Zhang Yanhang planned to wait till he raised the Skill Level of Limitless Universe Skill to LV. MAX before upgrading the Profession Level of Heavenly Destiny Master, considering that he wasn’t planning on using the free attribute points anyway, and would just be hoarding them.

So, since there was no difference between upgrading sooner or later, why not wait until after enhancing Limitless Universe Skill before raising the Profession Level?

After replanning his subsequent skill upgrade plans, Zhang Yanhang once again opened his Soul points balance to check.

[Soul points: 17703 (-25400)]

"Raising ’Supre Will’ from LV.3 to LV.MAX in one go cost 25400 Soul pontos, leaving with only 17703 Soul points remaining. Although it’s not much, it should still be enough for upgrading Limitless Universe Skill Level 7."

Zhang Yanhang rembered that the previous requirent to upgrade Limitless Universe Skill Level 7 was 16680 Soul points, so after the upgrade, he should have about a thousand Soul points left.
