Zhang Yanhang had finished cleaning the room and moved the slot machine to the first floor. Then he skillfully pulled the lever of the slot machine; the symbols above began spinning nonstop and, about three seconds later, revealed three identical skull symbols. Beneath that, a transparent egg popped out from the dispensing slot.

Initially, Zhang Yanhang thought the size of the egg would vary with the size of the prize, but whether it was a zombie or a T-virus Enhancing Potion egg, all were only the size of a fist. Through the transparent shell, he could clearly see a miniature Police Zombie inside, frozen as if caught in a Ti Pause.

As the egg automatically opened, the miniature Police Zombie inside instantly regained its normal size. It had barely touched the ground when that strange frozen state had already vanished. The Police Zombie imdiately spotted Zhang Yanhang standing by the slot machine and lunged straight at him. Standing close, Zhang Yanhang was imdiately bitten on the neck.

But getting bitten on the neck was sothing Zhang Yanhang had grown accustod to, as every zombie that wanted to "embrace" him did just that. Only so of the shorter female zombies and underage zombies, who couldn’t reach his neck, would settle instead for a bite of his chest flesh.

You might wonder why Zhang Yanhang didn’t dodge the zombie’s attack? Well, simply because it didn’t break his defense. Since it didn’t break through, why bother dodging? If this Police Zombie had been a Licker that could cause him damage, Zhang Yanhang certainly wouldn’t have been too lazy to dodge.

Zhang Yanhang clasped his left hand around the Police Zombie’s body while his right hand reached straight for its neck, a weird sound of bones cracking filled the air. The zombie’s neck was instantaneously snapped, with dark red corrupted blood spraying out, soaking the clothes Zhang Yanhang had just cleaned.

At this scene, Zhang Yanhang couldn’t help but sigh. Then, he tossed away the still-helted zombie head he held in his hands. With a casual push of his left hand, the headless body of the Police Zombie stiffly toppled aside. "It can’t be that I get bitten by a zombie every ti I pull the lever, right? Though it doesn’t break the defense, it really is quite troubleso."

A white Drop treasure box appeared from the headless body of the Police Zombie on the ground. Zhang Yanhang bent down to pick it up while also grabbing the slot machine. He had thought that having it on the first floor of the apartnt would suffice, but now, he felt he might as well continue pulling zombies out on the street.

After placing the slot machine on a spot on the sidewalk, Zhang Yanhang used Alchemy to dig a hole two ters deep, four ters wide, and four ters long in front of the dispensing slot. "With this, the zombies probably won’t be able to bite . I’m quite the sly one."

Indeed, the developnts followed exactly as Zhang Yanhang had anticipated. Zombies erging from the egg fell directly into the pit in front of the dispensing slot. The two-ter depth was sothing zombies couldn’t climb out of, so Zhang Yanhang no longer needed to worry about them biting his neck.

Moreover, significantly, this four-ter square pit could accommodate at least a dozen zombies at once.

With this setup, Zhang Yanhang could continuously pull the lever about a dozen tis, wait until the pit was nearly full of zombies, and then sweep them all away at once. This thod, compared to killing them one by one, indeed considerably increased his efficiency.

But the downside is that retrieving the treasure boxes becos troubleso; ordinarily, a dozen or so zombies would drop two treasure boxes, and Zhang Yanhang had to jump into the pit to collect them. Overall, however, the benefits of having this pit outweighed the drawbacks, as being bitten on the neck by a hundred zombies in succession could easily cause psychological trauma.

Most importantly, the pit was environntally friendly and could be reused. Once the zombie corpses in it respawned, he could use the pit again the next ti he drew zombies, making it a one-ti expense for a lifeti benefit.

After drawing all one hundred zombies, Zhang Yanhang carried the slot machine back to apartnt 301. Yes, he carried it back because he felt uneasy leaving such an important item outside. Honestly, if it weren’t for the fact that its attribute wouldn’t allow it to be taken out, Zhang Yanhang would have loved to take it back to the Main World.

After returning to apartnt 301, Zhang Yanhang cleaned the bloodstains on his body again. Most of the bloodstains were courtesy of the first police zombie, with the rest acquired while picking up the treasure boxes in the pit, mainly concentrated near the legs and the soles of his shoes.

By the way, after entombing a hundred zombies, the pit Zhang Yanhang had dug was almost filled to halfway. Although a human body only has a volu of 0.06 cubic ters, the irregular positioning of the corpses as they fell made for many gaps in the pit, wasting a lot of space.

"This should be it; there must be only a few minutes left until the passageway closes. I might as well wait a bit." In the ensuing ti, Zhang Yanhang lay on the bed doing nothing, staring at the unfamiliar ceiling and enjoying the rare peace.

Having hunted zombies for almost eight hours, Zhang Yanhang was physically capable of continuing, but he felt weary, a fatigue that stemd from both his mind and spirit.

Originally, Zhang Yanhang was just an ordinary Awakened who had discovered his superpower a month ago, previously only having killed small animals like chickens, fish, and snakes. However, after coming to Ashen World, driven by a strong desire to beco powerful, he had transford into an unfeeling Zombie Slayer, slaying thousands of zombies in just eight hours.

This transformation was undeniably imnse, so it was quite normal for Zhang Yanhang to feel ntally drained, but he wasn’t so sentintal youth prone to inexplicable whining. His weariness would vanish after a good sleep back in the Main World, followed by so gaming.

You might wonder what Zhang Yanhang was thinking about right now? He mainly felt relieved that he had waited half a month before entering Ashen World. Had he entered half a month earlier, he would not be in the state he was now.

Because half a month ago, his Limitless Universe Skill had not yet broken through to the Second Level, aning his Physical Attribute hadn’t reached ten points yet to grant immunity to the T-virus.

Moreover, half a month ago, he hadn’t eaten the Earth Spirit Fruit, so his regular physical defense was quite ordinary, and there was a high chance he could have been breached by an ordinary zombie.
