He wasn’t a fool. Those ten Blue Quality Crimson Iron Rings 4 were his base, continuously providing him with enhancents. He couldn’t just throw everything into only one ring, and just a Purple Quality one at that.
Zhang Yanhang could at most afford to invest one Crimson Iron Ring 4 since the fusion would only yield one Crimson Iron Ring 7, he needed to ensure all ten fingers were equipped with rings.

Now that the Crimson Iron Rings were fused, it was naturally ti to fuse the Crimson Iron Heart 5. After this, he would have thirteen surplus Crimson Iron Heart Necklaces left to spare.
Zhang Yanhang counted out sixteen necklaces from the small pile of Crimson Iron Heart Necklaces beside him, placed them all into the Alchemy Array, and then skillfully began the fusion process, pairing each necklace. The plan to fuse Dark Purple Quality Crimson Iron Hearts didn’t seem very reliable, at least compared to the task of fusing Purple Quality Crimson Iron Rings, as it indeed wasn’t very reliable. After all, he’d need to gather almost five hundred more Crimson Iron Heart Necklaces, which is truly too difficult to achieve.
In comparison to the three Crimson Iron Rings 6 he had already assembled, he had only managed to gather one 5 Crimson Iron Heart so far. There was a significant difference in progress between the two plans, one was akin to not having started at all, while the other was about to pass the halfway mark.
