Based on the status of its residents, Bod Gate is divided into Upper City for the nobles and Lower City for the commoners, with an Outer City District scattered around Chenyi Mountain. The gate separating the Upper City and Lower City is called Bod Gate, which also nas the entire city and serves as a monunt to Bodlan, the city’s founder.
Currently, Bod Gate is governed by a four-person council, all of whom are Grand Dukes. One of them is the leader of the council, and if a vote ends in a tie, decisions are made by Grand Duke Elder Ravenclaw. The security of the Upper City is managed by the elite official police force, the Watch, while other areas are handled by a rcenary group nad “Flaming Fist.” Grand Duke Elder Ravenclaw is also the supre leader of the rcenary group, headquartered at Bodlan Sea Tower, the strongest fortress against sea invasions for Bod Gate. Like a crescent embracing the economic lifeline of Bod Gate—Gray Harbor, hundreds of rchant ships co and go daily, bringing gold coins, as well as greed and sin.
The higher terrain of Upper City consists of the Castle District, Temple District, Manoburn District, and Wide Alley District, containing many religious buildings. The Miracle Hall and Supre Miracle House are the centers of the Church of the God of Craft Gund in Bod Gate. The Sea Tower District houses the Flaming Fist rcenary group. On the largest rocky offshore island in the Sea Tower District, the rcenary group’s headquarters, Bodlan Sea Tower, is built. The Branpton District and Steep District are relatively rundown, serving as living communities for sailors and manual laborers. The Outer City is spread along the Chongsar River, filled with temporary buildings and slums. A landmark structure is a stone bridge spanning the Chongsar River—Flying Dragon Crossroad—supporting many vendors and even expanded with wooden boards to accommodate additional structures. Law and order are absent here, and even the Flaming Fist rcenary group’s protection is severely limited. Those who cannot find a place in the city, including the impoverished and criminals, gather here.
