Chapter 816: Chapter 156: Patrol Team and Tremors_2
Seeing Yarn in the distance, the Half-Dragon pointed at him from afar and whispered a reminder: “He is Yarn, the leader of the Dawn Holy Army, skilled in Teleportation Spells, make sure we don’t let him escape.”
“Thinking of fleeing?”
“Hehehe, do you think you can run? Co on, shackle this old man up!”
A player dressed in chanical God Cult uniform and wearing glasses took out two tal balls and threw them out directly.
The tal balls exploded, releasing more than a dozen chains that emitted an invisible fluctuation, anchoring the surrounding space completely.
The space around them seed to be frozen solid, making it impossible to use the Teleportation Divine Arts, and Yarn’s Scepter dimd, leaving him both shocked and furious.
“You, you…”
It wasn’t just because his Divine Arts were interrupted, but also because he heard an all too familiar voice, and although it had beco rougher, Yarn could still recognize who it was.
Yarn turned his head, looking at the Half-Dragon with disbelief, his pointing fingers trembling: “You… You are Fier?”
“Impossible! You, you were the most hostile towards the Empire in the Dawn Holy Army, with a deep hatred for them, how could you beco a Retainer of the evil dragons!”
The Half-Dragon nodded and said, “Long ti no see, Archbishop Yarn, but… I must arrest you now, please stop your futile struggle.” His voice was emotionless, like an empty husk.
“A lodramatic plot twist?”
“Watch the drama, watch the drama!”
The surrounding players seed eager to watch the excitent.
Yarn glared at Fier, who had transford into a Half-Dragon, raising his Scepter: “That damned Dragon has turned you into this thing! I will grant you release!”
“Retainers of Evil Dragon Kin, the glory of Amanata is eternal and unrivaled! You will never capture a believer of the Sun God!”
The Scepter released a blinding light, a beam shot out from it, blasting towards the Half-Dragon and the players in the distance.
“The boss is using his ultimate, looks like Sunfla Burst!”
“Get the shields up!”
Lonely as Snow, holding the Silver Greatshield, stood in front of everyone, effortlessly blocking the Divine Arts released by Yarn.
He even had the leisure to take out a cigarette and put it in his mouth — that’s the unadorned strength of a Paladin.
“Roar!” A shout ca, and the Bald Monk, nearly five ters tall and with a fra like a Monster, leapt forward, moving with terrifying Speed to Yarn’s side.
Yarn hastily lifted his Scepter to defend: “Damn Evil Dragon Kin—”
However, his Speed was far too slow compared to the Bald Monk.
“Boom!”
With Mighty Heavenly Dragon’s punch, Yarn spat out a mouthful of gushing blood, flying back several ters and crashing heavily into the wall behind him.
David Sky Dragon looked at Yarn in the distance, scratching his bald head with a slight look of embarrassnt on his face: “Ah, I might have hit too hard, we might not be able to catch him alive.”
Yarn lay on the ground, barely alive, his Scepter already fallen, with all his bones shattered and his internal organs severely damaged.
With difficulty, he looked around. None of the mbers of the Dawn Holy Army in the basent escaped; they either splattered blood on the spot or were captured by these Imperial People.
Fier hurried over from a distance and stood in front of Archbishop Yarn, whispering, “I’m sorry, Archbishop Yarn, I had no other choice.”
Yarn let out a bitter laugh, mustering the strength to lift his head and gaze at this once-familiar Fier who had now beco unrecognizable, even terrifying in appearance.
“Do you not feel ashad to have beco what you are now? Are you being fair to the deceased Nico? Are you honoring those warriors who sacrificed their lives for their faith?”
By the end, Archbishop Yarn’s voice had grown more agitated, blood spilling continuously from his mouth, and ultimately he collapsed on the ground, teetering between life and death.
“I did nothing wrong…
This is all for the sake of Lady Ingrid, all to continue following her…” Fier stood frozen in place, muttering to himself.
…
South of the Radiant Mountains, the city of “City of Sunrise” was filled with outbursts of rage from Augustus within the resplendent palace.
“Damn waste! Traitor!
How can the vast territories of North Aisier be given away within a month by that inept Walter!” Wilhelm sat on his golden throne, his face twisted gruesoly, smashing a crystal vase to pieces with a flick of his hand.
Now, as his strength waned, Wilhelm’s face was nearly unable to hide the fractures, and he had to apply a thick layer of gold powder to conceal them.
Seeing His Majesty fall into a fit of rage and smash objects everywhere, every courtier in the hall kept silent, not daring to make a sound.
No longer pure, the feathers fluttered in mid-air, and the floor was littered with porcelain shards.
It took a long while before soone tremblingly spoke: “Your Majesty, there’s no need to worry, that evil dragon wouldn’t dare to be our enemy. After all, you are the true Emperor of Fadlan…”
“Dare not?”
Wilhelm sneered: “He has already reached our doorstep, what wouldn’t he dare? Do you take for a fool?”
“Your Majesty, I, I didn’t an that…” The minister quickly kneeled on the ground, frantically trying to explain.
“That damn dragon dared to kill the Lord of Heaven!”
As he spoke, Wilhelm’s anger peaked, and he strode over to the minister and brutally kicked him away.
7. The Challenges Ahead
Despite substantial progress, China’s healthcare still faces so challenges. For example, the uneven distribution of dical resources between urban and rural areas, regions, the need for further improvent in the capacity of grassroots health services, and the need to further perfect the public health incident response chanism.
The right to life is a person’s most fundantal right. The most important thing for a person is survival, health, and the social health care that is most closely linked to survival and health. Since the establishnt of the new China, our country has vigorously developed the dical industry and strived to improve the dical security system, especially since the reform and opening up, China’s health care has made significant progress.
But at the sa ti, the dical system has undergone trendous changes, facing progress in so aspects, but also increasingly exposed problems. At the current stage in China, the public generally consider seeing a doctor difficult and expensive. At present, so concepts and practices in the dical system do not conform to the fundantal laws of the developnt of the healthcare industry, and fail to et the basic healthcare needs of the masses, causing dical reforms to be at an impasse and unlikely to make significant, breakthrough progress in the short term.
Current problems in the dical system:
(I) The decline in the equity of dical services and low macro-efficiency of health inputs have led to a series of social problems such as poverty, increased public dissatisfaction, and imbalanced inter-group relations; the public’s negative expectations on healthcare issues have beco a significant factor leading to insufficient macroeconomic demand.
(II) The public health system is not sound, the distribution of dical resources is uneven, dical institutions overlap, the task of controlling major diseases is arduous, and there are difficulties in dealing with sudden public health events. The practice of reforming dical service institutions by “focusing on the big and letting go of the small” is very popular, and based on this orientation as well as the reality of so areas burdened by heavy fiscal responsibilities under the current fiscal system, so places begin to restructure grassroots public dical service institutions into enterprises or even directly sell them to private owners. This reform direction of “focusing on the big and letting go of the small” is problematic and not in line with the basic laws of healthcare developnt.
(III) The dical service system does not et the health needs of the public, the chaotic pricing of dical services leads to continuous increase in dical costs, high drug prices, and the prominent issues of difficulty and expensiveness in receiving dical care.
(IV) The dical and health managent system is out of sync with the health needs of the people, characterized by inefficient dical services, issues with dical technology and service quality, high drug prices, dical corruption, and such phenona are subject to public criticism. Currently, the dical and healthcare field is disturbed and influenced by corrupt forces within the party and society. For example, collusion between officials and businessn, seeking private gains in the production and circulation of dical supplies, and even engaging in fake doctors and fake dicine; accepting bribes from doctors, and so on. The causes of this corruption are quite complex, one of which is due to the dical and healthcare managent system
