Chapter 697: Chapter 91 The Final Battle Chapter 697: Chapter 91 The Final Battle “You all get out of my way!”
Batu Skullcrush roared toward the heavens, swinging his Battle Axe in movents violent as a tempest, with arcs of blood light circling around his body.
“Be careful!”
Rhea fiercely flapped her black wings, her body clad in Divine Power-concentrated Silver Armor, lifting off the ground to dodge the relentless assaults.
While Ed gripped his Warhamr horizontally, a thick layer of rock like a tortoise shell guarded him in front, taking the brunt of Batu’s onslaught, with rock shards flying and gashes appearing on it.
But the other Dwarfs and Orcs were not so fortunate. The Beastman Chief, rampaging indifferently around, resembled a moving at grinder, leaving carnage, blood, and chaos in his wake wherever he went.
The Orcs howled pitifully, begging their chieftain to spare them, yet the frenzied Batu made no distinction between friend and foe, chopping Dwarfs, Elves, and Orcs alike into pieces.
As the massacre continued, the tattoos on Batu Skullcrush’s body grew increasingly fierce, his aura climbing mightily as if an invisible giant maw was devouring the blood and souls of those slain by his axe.
Of course, before this bloody storm, the Dwarf Warriors stood powerless, dropping dead one after another.
Seeing this, Ed’s eyes reddened, boiling with endless rage: “Beastman! I pledge to personally end your ugly life, at all costs!”
The Dwarf King leapt up, investing all his strength swinging his Warhamr down towards the head of the wild slaughtering Beastman.
Accompanying his actions, dust on the ground suddenly surged, nurous sharp rocks shooting like arrows.
Unexpectedly, Batu’s strength far exceeded Ed’s estimation; the dwarf king’s pupils shrank at the mont the Warhamr was about to strike.
“Clang—”
The tallic booming split the headache-inducing wind, dust stifling the air again.
A Great Axe hurled down from mid-air, Batu, with a single swing of his arm, parried Ed’s mighty strike, hurling him out.
“How is this possible?”
The Dwarf King’s heart filled with imnse horror, the shocking force numbing his palms and causing his veins to burst, spewing blood.
Sharp rocks, dense like a volley of arrows, struck toward the Beastman Chief, creating nurous wounds on his robust, bulky fra.
But Batu Skullcrush remained utterly undeterred, lifting his Battle Axe and leaping forward with a hideous laugh, eager to chase his victory and end the Dwarf King’s life.
Just then, a piercing female voice echoed from the sky, sounding like a Judgnt from Heavenly Mountain, resonating over the battlefield.
“Beastman, you butchered innocent souls and invaded the ho of Dwarfs, your sins are unforgivable!
“In the na of the Vengeance Knight, show no rcy to the villain—”
Everyone looked up collectively, even Batu paused in astonishnt, a mark of Oath of Enmity appearing above his head.
Just then, a Half-Elf Paladin hovered in the sky, her black wings unfurled, her hands gripping the sword handle with only a flickering light remaining in her eyes.
Her face wore anger, both hands lifting the Silver Sword high, pronouncing the final verdict.
“Oath of Enmity!”
Instantly, twilight’s glow erged behind her, half the sky dyed orange-red like a sunset.
At this mont, the might of “Twilight Blade” was fully unleashed!
A Sword of Damocles, ford of endless brilliance, suddenly pierced from the clouds, impaling the Beastman suspended mid-air.
anwhile, Ed rolled on the ground and got back up, his eyes emitting an excited glow.
“Ha ha ha! What an opportunity! I shall now end this Beastman’s life and avenge my people!”
“Die!”
Ed bellowed, lifting his Warhamr high and leaping forward, calling forth a massive Rock Cone ters high, smashing viciously at the rapidly plumting Beastman.
The Beastman Chief was first pinned to the ground by the Judgnt Longsword, then the Rock Cone crashed down face-first.
“Boom!”
The ground trembled, the surface cracking and webbing, stones erupting everywhere with dusty clouds filling the sky.
In a fog of dust, only the huge shadow of the Rock Cone was visible, Batu Skullcrush’s condition unseen.
“Whew, whew, this guy must be dead by now.”
Ed half-knelt, gasping, his palms sweaty around the Warhamr handle.
“No, he’s not dead yet.”
Suspended mid-air, Rhea’s voice was heavy as she surveyed the terrain, her eyes fixed on the swirling dust.
Rhea warned: “My Oath of Enmity is not lifted yet; that Beastman is still alive!”
Rhea, rciless, swung her Silver Sword, her eyes exuding a breathtaking radiance.
Supre Holy Slash!
The sword light emitting the hue of twilight sliced through the air, cleaving the earth.
Following, countless souls of Dwarfs, Humans, and even Orcs killed by Batu, their eyes boiling with Revenge, surged forward toward their forr enemy.
This was the Soul of Vengeance!
“Damned Beastman! If so, I will make sure he’s thoroughly dead!”
Ed’s face darkened as he supported himself with the hamr handle to stand, lifting the Warhamr once more and pounding down like a blacksmith.
The earth mourned, the mountains trembled.
Visible impressions from the hamring appeared on the surface, each strike burrowing feet deep into the ground, creating nurous rifts around.
Then, rocks fell from the sky like heavy rain, nearly burying the area and even forming a small hill.
Finally, surging flas erged from beneath, burning everything above – this was Moradin’s Soul-forging Fire!
