Chapter 664: Chapter 76: The Invitation from the Sivier Family_3 Chapter 664: Chapter 76: The Invitation from the Sivier Family_3 “Giant dragons.”

“Why?”

“In my conversation with the Hermit, I discovered his unusual interest in gold and jewels, combined with the trait of slumbering for hundreds of years, giant dragons are the most fitting answer.

However, I am not yet certain of the Hermit’s specific type, but given his aid to us, he should be one of the tal Dragons.”

“Clap, clap.”

Duke Aiden clapped his hands in appreciation, and as he looked at Hilowiz’s serious expression, he patted her shoulder and couldn’t help but laugh: “Well done, I think so too.

Hahaha, Hilowiz, my prideful daughter, you might have won the friendship of a giant dragon for the Sivier family.”

Duke Aiden sat down on the sofa in the center of the hall. He whispered a couple of instructions to the butler standing by his side who then scurried off.

In a short while, the butler returned holding an old book made of sheepskin, and the cover bore a few gold-embossed characters—”Fianso Giant Dragon Guide.”

Duke Aiden placed the book on his lap, put on the gold-rimd glasses handed by the butler, and thumbed through it carefully, not forgetting to continue speaking:

“Hilowiz, tell more about this Hermit.”

“Yes, Father.”

Hilowiz didn’t dare to delay and quickly narrated many details of the journey.

Duke Aiden, while pouring through the “Fianso Giant Dragon Guide,” muttered to himself:

“Expert at attacking enemies with thunder and lightning, fond of gold coins and jewels, able to change the weather…

Holding a bronze scepter, cloaked in a grey mantle, with pale green pupils…

Friendly toward humans, curious, possessing a strong sense of justice, intolerant of thieves and cultists, and fond of port cities…”

Finally, Duke Aiden found a page in the book and spread it open before Hilowiz.

It depicted a massive tal Dragon—it had a beak-like nose and a pointed tongue, its body sinuous and robust, its hide covered with smooth aquamarine scales, like an imposing statue cast in bronze.

Duke Aiden nudged the glasses on the bridge of his nose, his lips curling involuntarily upward, his tone even more excited.

“Hilowiz, this ‘Hermit’ you t should be the bronze dragon known as ‘Coastal Dragon.’

Moreover, judging by the duration of his slumber and his ability to control the weather, this ‘Hermit’ is at least of Ancient Dragon Level!”

Hilowiz, too, leaned forward in surprise, looking at the heroic and majestic bronze giant dragon on the book as if it were a bronze statue.

Although she had speculated, she still found it hard to imagine that the Hermit with whom she had conversed for so long was such a mythical being.

Hilowiz sat beside her father, curiously asking, “Father, if Mr. Hermit is a bronze dragon, is there anything special about it?”

“Hahahaha, Hilowiz, my dear daughter, you’ve really done a great favor for the Sivier family.”

Duke Aiden’s face bead with smiles, he stroked the beard at the corner of his mouth, spiritedly pointing at a passage in the book, and Hilowiz also looked following the direction of his pointing:

“Once a bronze dragon makes a promise, it becos the most steadfast ally, thus their trust is exceedingly precious.

They are often fascinated by war and eager to join the military to fight for justice. I have seen a bronze dragon disguised as a human serving in the army, even becoming a commanding officer on the battlefield.
