Chapter 577: Chapter 35 Dragon Battle_2 Chapter 577: Chapter 35 Dragon Battle_2 This was a terrifying product of an ancient breeding program that combined demons, bipedal wyverns, and the filthiest elents of Red Dragons.

They road the wilderness of The Abyss, hunting demons and visitors alike in the sa manner.

“Roar—”

The howls of the dragon beasts echoed through the Huor Mountain Range, causing creatures in the mountains to tremble, their roars more chaotic and disordered than those of ordinary bipedal wyverns, filled with the oppression of The Abyss.

These Abyssal drakes flapped their wings wildly, spitting out black and red Abyssal Fire that incinerated every living thing on the ground.

On the back of the leading Abyssal drake, a humanoid creature covered in blood-red skin carried a blood-stained longsword, emitting a mad battle cry.

“Scorch this place!”

“Sacrifice everything to The Abyss, let everything here descend into chaos!”

The demon wore pitch-black armor, a forked long tongue stretching out of his mouth, a pair of dark long horns bending from his forehead towards the back of his head.

His crimson eyes gazed into the distance as if burning with raging flas.

“I’ve returned…”

“I will make you all pay!”

He was Licht More, forrly of the Northwind Eagle Guards, who had narrowly escaped during the war of Nation Destruction and was chosen by a Vengeful Demon, reborn in The Abyss.

Over the years, he had endured hardships on the battlefields of blood, but his forr hatred never faded, mories of the destruction of the Lakeman Empire seared into his mind.

And hatred brought him even greater strength.

Today, Licht had beco the leader of the Abyssal Dragon Beast Legion, commanding dozens of elite Demon Cavalry and hundreds of Abyssal drakes.

His mission was to cross the Huor Mountain Range, penetrate deep into the territory of the Empire, and leverage his mobility to disrupt the Empire’s strong defensive lines.

This was a proven tactic of the Abyssal Legion, as the forr Licht had captured a Hell Demon’s fortress in Aphernas using this thod.

Thus, he believed that such tactics would also work against the Empire.

Licht raised the bloodstained, skull-carved longsword, roaring at the troops.

“Gentlen, we have faced countless brutal wars in the blood battles, slaying innurable demons!

This ti, our enemy is but a weak Material Plane nation. We shall baptize them with fire and blood, let these mortals feel the grandeur of The Abyss!

For The Abyss!”

“Roar—”

At that mont, similar roars could also be heard in the distance, only these were even more robust and powerful.

The demons looked toward the horizon.

They saw lines of bipedal wyverns and Fire Drakes rising from the other side of the mountain, their wings flapping like a scarlet cloud enveloping half the sky, confronting the Abyssal Dragon Beast Legion from afar.

Among that Imperial Legion were Red Scale Conquerors riding bipedal wyverns, Fire Drakes emitting fierce flas, and even Ancestral Wyverns comparable to True Dragons.

Their montum was in no way inferior to that of the Abyssal Dragon Beast Legion on the southern side of the mountains.

Licht imdiately recognized those Wyvern Knights who had destroyed the Northwind Eagle Guards and caused him to flee; those humiliating mories resurfaced in the demon’s mind.

“Red Scale Conquerors…”

He gritted his teeth, flas flickering in his eyes, his forked tongue hanging low, dripping thick saliva.

Then, his expression shifted from anger to ecstasy, his hideous red face twisting into a grin that almost reached his ears.

“Fantastic, fantastic! Finally, I can have my revenge!”

“I will make them taste what I went through, companions killed, country destroyed…”

Thinking of this, Licht’s face showed a look of intoxication, and from within his dark helt, only his eyes filled with the fire of revenge could be seen: “Ha ha ha ha! Charge!

Kill them all! Let them experience the fear the Hell Demons had of us in the blood battles!”

“Face The Abyss!”

“Devour all these ridiculous flies!”

“Roar—”

The demons cheered frenetically, wielding blood-streaked long swords, spears, and heavy hamrs, while the Abyssal dragon heads issued spine-chilling, piercing roars.

No wonder they were so confident; as the vile product of demons, bipedal wyverns, and Red Dragons, the Abyssal drakes were especially massive, far surpassing ordinary bipedal wyverns.

Almost every Abyssal drake reached nearly fifteen ters in length, and their leader was even more than twenty ters long, already surpassing many true giant dragons.

Compared to these Abyssal drakes, the bipedal wyverns of the Imperial Legion, typically not exceeding ten ters in body length, did indeed appear rather petite.

North of Huor Mountain Range

The Dragonblood Marquess of the Empire, commander of the Red Scale Guard Station—Alger was riding on the back of a massive Dragon Vein Giant Eagle, his gaze coldly fixed on the distant Abyssal Dragon Beast Legion.

This once mber of the Northwind Eagle Guards had already completed his revenge; he had witnessed Duke Brad’s death with his own eyes and seen the Empire rise step by step, and watched the lives of the Northern People gradually improve.

He had also witnessed… the oppressed Tieflings breaking free from their hardships and leading fulfilled lives.

Now, Alger had found a new purpose.

He had beco a guardian of the Empire, and he swore to devote the remainder of his life to atoning for the heinous cris he had committed.

Alger raised the Everburning Greatsword, unleashing a brilliant fla.

“Everyone—”

“You are the progeny of the Great Red Dragon. These filthy creatures from the Abyss, tainted bloodlines, are no match for you before your might!

They want to burn our cities, slaughter our people, destroy our nation!

Can you tolerate this?”

“No!”

The response was earth-shattering.

Alger nodded in satisfaction, then roared, “Then follow into battle! Burn those creatures from the Abyss to ashes!”

The Abyssal Dragon Beast Legion surged like dark clouds, swirling and roaring noisily, climbing gradually to assault the Empire’s Legion.

Faced with this impending massive aerial battle, both natives and players felt their blood boiling over with excitent.

From their higher ground, they gazed at the distant Demon Legion, diving down while issuing passionate battle cries.

“For the Empire!”

“Long Live the Ashen Empire!”

“For His Majesty Cassius!”

Suddenly, hundreds of Bipedal Wyverns and Fire Drakes extended their wings atop the mountain range and dove down.

“Aow—”

They were like a scarlet torrent, or a crimson waterfall, pouring down from the mountain peak, the air tearing beneath their wings in blazing, explosive currents.

Thus, the upper half of the mountain was obscured by the scarlet flood, while the lower half was occupied by the dark, mottled Abyssal Demon Tide.

Collision was imminent.

Licht looked up at the sky at the legion ford of Wyverns and Sub-dragons, a cold smile curling at the corner of his mouth under his faceplate.

Too weak.

Compared to the Dragon Beasts transford by the Abyssal Blood Pool, these Sub-dragons were too frail—just like he once was.

What once seed an invincible Wyvern Legion, now seed no more than a group of weak Material Plane creatures.

Licht thought to himself, gripping a blood-stained long-sword adorned with a skull. In his mind, he envisioned effortlessly severing the slender necks of Bipedal Wyverns.

However, within that scarlet flood, Alger raised the gleaming Everburning Greatsword and commanded fiercely:

“Everyone—Dragon’s Roar Charge!”

“Roar—”

Instantly, one hundred Wyvern Knights and nearly five hundred Bipedal Wyverns and Fire Drakes issued simultaneous dragon roars.

It was the most significant Dragon’s Roar Charge in the Empire’s history in terms of participants and scale.

Their bodies, coursing with boiling Dragon Blood, trembled, their bloodlines resonating, linking, gathering—the overpowering Dragon’s Might like a tsunami.

“Nothing but ignorant material beings….

This, this…

This is impossible!”

Licht looked up at the sky, his body shaking violently, teeth chattering.

In the sky, a colossal Red Dragon’s spectral image appeared among the dragons, imnsely majestic and noble, nearly encompassing the entire Imperial Legion.

All the knights recognized him, their Emperor, the supre ruler of the Ashen Empire—Cassius!

“Roar—”

The spectral image, manifested from Dragon’s Might, flapped its wings and opened its massive jaws, emitting an extraordinarily long and deep roar.

Instantly, under the bloodline pressure emanating from the depths of their souls, all the Abyssal Drakes emitted painful wails, finding it difficult even to flap their wings as they tumbled clumsily from midair.

Licht, in frustration, exclaid:

“Damn it, it’s just a giant dragon! You are the spawn of the Abyss!”
