"Such power of faith... How is it possible? How can they be so devout to this extent!"
Tiamat’s expression grew even more sinister, the three dragon faces alternating emotions of anger, jealousy, surprise, and extre malice coalesced into a tangible black mist, causing the surrounding vegetation to wither instantly.
"I have painstakingly managed Seleucis for hundreds of years, expending countless resources, killing millions of mortals, keeping this despicable group of ants constantly in chaos and fear, yet they remain unrepentant and not only fail to provide with faith but also foolishly initiate rebellion..."
Tiamat’s tone beca increasingly frantic, turning into a thunderous roar, like a volcano about to erupt, ready to release the fury accumulated within.
"Why! Why would these lowly mortals willingly contribute faith to you! Their lives are all in my hands!"
Boom——
Tiamat raised his head high, and a nacing black beam tore through the sky, carrying overwhelming terror, and shot towards Cassius’s chest.
However, the power of faith gathered into a golden ocean, sweeping through the sky, enveloping Cassius’s dragon body, effortlessly blocking the black beam.
Amidst the golden glow, Cassius gazed down at Tiamat and mocked rcilessly: "What does this have to do with ?"
"Can’t get faith? This is clearly the retribution you deserve for all you’ve done! Killing millions, and then dreaming of obtaining faith from their loved ones, is nothing but wishful thinking!"
As he spoke, Cassius raised his dragon claw, faith gathering in his palm, forming a golden spear thousands of ters long, which he then hurled forcefully.
[Imperial Region: Reprimand!]
Screech——
With a shrill explosion, the spear descended like divine punishnt, piercing through the black beam spewed by Tiamat. This massive three-headed dragon attempted to twist aside but was still pierced through the shoulder. The golden spear, carrying mottled divine blood, was nailed to the ground, deeply embedded.
Tiamat let out a painful wail, spewing blood from his mouth, yet still rasped, questioning: "Waging war, seizing territories, establishing cults, creating Dragonborn... Cassius, you claim to be righteous, but how is the empire you established any different from mine?"
"Old hag, I have never claid to be righteous, nor have I played the so-called Justice ssenger. Your failure is not because of evil, but stupidity, outdated ideals, and arrogance."
Cassius sneered, mocking rcilessly: "Tiamat, you are shortsighted, brutal, and stupid, only knowing how to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs, exploiting and plundering, letting your mindless five-colored dragons pillage and burn, turning the once prosperous Kingdom of Seleucis into a dead land, and yet still expecting to gain faith? What a joke!"
The Red Dragon suddenly flapped its wings, and faith gathered in the sky, forming countless shining golden spears, swords, battle axes, and long-handled hamrs, all crashing toward the three-headed dragon like a teor shower, the montum imposing.
Cassius was quite interested in debating with Tiamat, as each word delayed ti. When the gods invaded Tiamat Divine Country, he would claim victory in this battle.
"Those lowly mortals are not worthy of my attention! Cassius, you, as a noble giant dragon, actually care about the lives of a group of mortals! It is a disgrace to your bloodline!"
Tiamat roared, with black mist appearing above his head, swallowing all the descending golden light, then the black mist ford countless ferocious heads, assaulting Cassius from different directions.
But before those dragon heads touched Cassius’s body, they disintegrated mid-air, as if blocked by so invisible barrier — still the power of the Imperial Region.
"These re mortals, what right do they have to babble about faith with ? Human greed knows no bounds, and indulgence only leads to betrayal by the lowly ants like the old Sun! You, as a giant dragon, actually buy into the so-called fairness and justice."
Cassius continued to sneer: "I haven’t championed fairness; I’m just mocking your inefficiency in utilizing mortals, rigid thinking, and completely misunderstanding sustainable developnt."
Tiamat, treating millions of mortals as soul materials, this kind of stupidity, I’m afraid only you can achieve! Such a waste of resources! Give such a large population, and I can double the Ashen Empire’s total productivity, providing faith far beyond the current power!"
As he finished, several golden spears descended with a shrill whistle, piercing the three-headed dragon’s shoulders, wings, torso, and tail, as if nailing it firmly to the ground.
"re mortals——"
Divine blood spurted from the wounds, Tiamat struggled fiercely, exuding thick divine power, shattering the golden spears. The scarred dragon body, enveloped in a storm, ascended into the air, seemingly preparing for the next attack.
Facing this true god’s counterattack, Cassius dared not be careless, imdiately urging the Imperial Region, constructing an indestructible barrier, imprisoning Tiamat within a golden wall thousands of ters high, with countless pure faith-forged chains winding around his body, wrapping hundreds of tis.
Roar——
Tiamat roared at the sky, breaking countless chains, causing the holy barrier released by Cassius to shatter, then collapse spectacularly.
