Kieran opened his eyes groggily.

His vision was blurry.

A sweet aroma assaulted his nose, but he couldn't focus on it.

He felt aches all over his body.

Literally all over...

And at the sa ti, he noticed sothing else.

'The breeze... It feels so close.'

The air brushed past him... He felt a tingling sensation all over his body.

'I'm naked!'

All the hairs on his body stood tall.

He jolted up at the realization.

His sudden jolt also sent pain throughout his entire body.

"You shouldn't move too much. It took a huge toll on your body."

He moved his gaze to Alexa, who looked at him indifferently.

His head ached as he tried to rember the events before he fainted.

He drew in a cold breath.

He locked his gaze with Alexa's.

'Did she...?'

"Tch. I'm not so petty," Alexa quickly said, reading his thoughts.

"..."

"Besides, you're small," Alexa said indifferently.

"Look away..." Kieran ignored her comnt.

"What? I can't look at you? This is just making things even... You feasted your eyes, now it's my turn," Alexa replied with a scoff.

"Fine, look as long as you want. I guess I was right," he said with a shrug.

"Right abou...?"

Her cheeks had a small tint of rosy pink.

"No! You're too weak!"

"Is that an excuse? You could always have your way with soone weaker."

Kieran didn't feel safe.

If she had such thoughts, she could abuse him whenever she felt like it and have her way... He wasn't certain he could resist, even when he only had basic knowledge of those types of things.

"It's not what you're thinking?! I can't do such a thing," Alexa retorted.

This was the first ti she was feeling like this. She didn't do anything... Yet this boy made her feel guilty.

She didn't like the eyes he used to look at her. It was annoying.

She wanted to prove her innocence.

"..."

Kieran stared at her blankly.

He was certain he had his clothes on... So what happened?

"You're such an idiot... Look around you before you start making assumptions!" Alexa yelled.

This was the first ti she had been terd as such.

She was a revered Phoenix Queen... She couldn't stoop so low.

Kieran took a mont to observe his surroundings.

The crackling of the flas caught his attention.

She had made a bonfire in the midst of the forest.

Two, actually.

Hanging on top of one was thick skin...

The other had staked at.

'Animal skin... Is she making so sort of clothes for ? And food?'

Seeing the situation, he turned his gaze to Alexa, whose face was pink with embarrassnt.

"Hmph. I could never do sothing like that with soone as weak as you."

'Yeah, but you can do it with soone stronger.' Kieran kept a suspicious look as he observed her.

But he cleared his thoughts quickly.

'At least she's not interested in ... It seems.'

"So what happened?"

"Are you asking ? What were you thinking would happen when you used such a powerful skill?" Alexa retorted.

"Skill..."

Kieran thought back to the powerful fla explosion.

He had completely forgotten his fight with the troll from earlier.

'Oh right... After using the skill...'

{Host lifespan has reduced drastically!}

{Life energy: 30%}

{Divine constitution: 0}

{Ding! You have gained 10 Loyalty points! Your summon acknowledges you!}

Kieran rembered the notification from the system screen.

"So that's what happened..."

'Probably my flas burned my clothes...'

"Yes. That was what happened! And you almost exhausted your divine constitution."

Seeing the blank look on Kieran's face, Alexa heaved a sigh...

'He has absolutely no idea.'

"You're a son of Typhon... The uncrowned god."

Kieran had no idea what his powers were... How to use them... And he definitely had no idea of the effect of using them with how weak he was at the mont.

"A god?"

'Is that why the system ntioned sothing about a god candidate?'

"Yes... He was an uncrowned god..." Alexa said, a hint of sadness in her eyes as she rembered a past.

Kieran looked at her confusedly.

"I was an orphan... There is only one god... What the hell are you saying?"

Kieran wasn't soone who was interested in things about Orion, the god who abandoned their world... He loathed that being.

But since his birth, there had been no ntion of another god besides Orion himself.

"One god?" Alexa asked, as a laugh escaped her lips.

"Hahaha."

She laughed uncontrollably... Like she had heard the funniest joke in her life.

Her small sharp canines were visible at the sides of her mouth.

"What's with the laugh?"

He felt slightly annoyed... It made him seem ignorant... Sothing he was clearly aware of.

"Well... You're wrong. They had a lot of gods in the past. Each controlled a constitution. They were unparalleled beings that stood at the peak of any constitution they commanded."

Kieran's brows furrowed at the information he had received.

"... That's not ant to be right... Orion was the only god. He descended and brought his wrath upon us for all our wrongdoings... That was when these realm gates opened up in our world, pouring monsters and demons like never before."

Kieran was in his thoughts. This was totally different from what he was taught.

But could he doubt her?

'She knew of the divine constitution that the system ntioned... Even without seeing it... Or can she see it?' Kieran thought, bringing up the system screen.

Just like he expected, Alexa couldn't see it.

"Orion..." Alexa said montarily, as though trying to recall if she had heard the na.

"I haven't heard of that god... Probably, he wasn't known to be powerful... Maybe a lower god."

Kieran felt a chill.

'Lower?'

"As for this place... I don't think he was the one who brought it," Alexa said with a frown.

"Then who did?" Kieran felt his interest pique.

He didn't know why, but he had a strange feeling. He could tell she wasn't lying at all.

"You know what? You were sowhat right... But not fully... It's not one god... It's no god."
