Suddenly, the ball of fla emitted a strange, ethereal sound, resembling the chi of a distant bell. The sound reverberated through the inner universe as the fla split into two halves. One half vanished almost instantly, while the other began to transform.

To Liang's astonishnt, the ball of fla slowly took on the shape of a young girl. The girl had long, flowing red hair that seed to glow with an inner fire, and her eyes sparkled with an intelligent golden hue. She was dressed in a flowing robe made of the finest silk, embroidered with intricate phoenix designs.

The girl extended her hand towards Liang, her eyes filled with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation. Liang hesitated for a mont before reaching out and taking her hand.

As their fingers intertwined, a surge of warmth and understanding flowed between them.

Typically, the formation of the Heavenly Spirit Fla wouldn't give rise to such a being. However, Liang's incorporation of the Phoenix bloodline source into the fusion process led to the ergence of this little girl.

"Welco," Liang said softly, "I am Liang."

The girl's lips parted slightly, and her voice erged as a faint whisper, as though she were struggling to speak. "Fa...ther."

Liang's heart skipped a beat. "Father?" he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper.

The girl's eyes widened, and she nodded slowly. "Fa...ther," her voice gaining a little strength.

A surge of emotions washed over Liang. He had never expected to encounter a being that would address him as "father." Yet, as he looked into the girl's innocent golden eyes, he felt an inexplicable connection with her.

""What is your na?" Liang asked.

The girl looked at him with wonder in her eyes. "I... I do not know."

Liang smiled. "Then I shall give you one. From this day forward, your na shall be Xinyu."

"Xin... yu..." the girl repeated, savoring the sound of her new na.

Liang nodded slightly and gestured with his hand, whereupon a golden fla suddenly began to take shape around him, as Liang began to circulate the Nine Heavenly Spirit Art cultivation thod.

Intently, the golden fla flickered slightly before surging towards him.

Liang, in his nascent divinity form, closed his eyes while the golden fla began to refine his nascent divinity.

On the other hand, Xinyu watched the scene with wide-eyed wonder. Suddenly, an idea seed to dawn on her, and she waved her tiny jade-like hand, mirroring Liang's movents.

Surprisingly, another golden fla appeared from the little girl's hand. Panic filled her eyes as she frantically waved her hand in the air, trying to discard the golden fla.

Astonishingly, it worked. The golden fla flew towards Liang's direction and joined the other golden fla, aiding in the refinent of the nascent divinity.

The refinent of nascent divinity with the heavenly spirit fla marks the second stage of the process. Although Liang didn't display it, this stage was excruciatingly painful.

After a considerable amount of ti, Liang opened his eyes and beheld the two flas hovering before him.

One was the heavenly spirit fla he had refined, while the other was the one ford by Xinyu.

Although both of them appeared similar, the one that Liang had refined seed more intelligent and powerful. In fact, it seed to be guiding the one ford by Xinyu.

Liang nodded approvingly. Xinyu was a being ford as a result of the fusion of many things: Feng Xue's soul and spirit, and bloodline source. It wouldn't be incorrect to refer to Xinyu as a true spirit being.

"F…father, are you...?" Xinyu looked at Liang with worried eyes.

Liang's mouth twitched at the ntion of "Father." It felt wrong to him. Despite his many past affairs, he had always controlled his yang essence to prevent unwanted parenthood.

To him, the idea of family represented a burden and a vulnerability he couldn't afford.

After so consideration, he cleared his throat, "How about this? You can simply call Liang. It's more suitable."

"It's more suitable?" The little girl looked at Liang skeptically.

Liang nodded firmly, "Trust , it's better."

The little girl frowned, her little brow knitted in thought, before nodding, "I…I will call you Liang then."

Liang smiled upon hearing this, "Good, Xinyu, what do you think of this place?"

Xinyu looked around in confusion before saying, "Empty…"

Liang's eyes flickered slightly, "You don't like it here?"

Xinyu considered for a mont before shaking her little head, "I don't know."

Liang nodded slightly. "I have one more task to complete. Once I'm done, I'll take you to a better place, alright?"

Xinyu's big eyes sparkled with excitent. "Promise?"

He nodded confidently. "It's a promise." Yet, inwardly, he lanted; he couldn't recall the last ti he truly kept a promise, and this one felt uncertain.

Xinyu grinned, filled with cheer. "I will wait, then!"

With that, Liang turned his attention toward Feng Xue's body, ready to refine the remaining spirit and soul. However, his thoughts drifted back to Xinyu.

"Okay, little Xinyu, I have a ga for you. If you win, I'll give you a special gift." He looked at her, knowing it wouldn't be appropriate to refine Feng Xue in front of the child. After all, Feng Xue was, in a sense, her mother.

"A ga?" Xinyu's eyes sparkled with curiosity.

Liang couldn't help but smile at her innocent expression. "Yes, a ga. I'll close my eyes, and you'll need to hide. If I find you, I win; if I can't, you win." He watched her expression keenly. "What do you think?"

"I like it!" Xinyu bead, then tilted her head slightly. "But you won't cheat, right?"

Cheat? Liang was taken aback. Where did this little girl learn that word? Nonetheless, he nodded earnestly. "I'm an honest person; I don't cheat."

Xinyu studied him for a mont before bursting into laughter. "Okay, close your eyes. I'm going to hide!"

Liang closed his eyes, and Xinyu began to skip and twirl around him, her laughter filling the void. Swiftly and silently, she darted away from Liang, her footsteps light as a feather.
