"Perhaps the issue lies not with the complexity of the fusion but with the nature of the Great Void Phoenix Scripture itself," Liang mused aloud. "The inputs the Thousand Derivations Rune has about the phoenix's nature are likely limited, which explains the persistent failures."

Unlike the serpent and nine-tailed fox bloodlines that were deeply ingrained in his source, the phoenix bloodline remained external. This distinction might be the underlying cause for the difficulties.

Liang's eyes glinted thoughtfully. "It's not as if there weren't a way around this... But," he glanced around with a chuckle.

Despite the desolate appearance and his seeming solitude, Liang sensed the watchful gaze of the fox woman upon him. To gain a profound understanding of the phoenix bloodline, he required its essence and spirit, which necessitated their integration with his own.

A enigmatic smile spread across Liang's face as he closed his eyes.

Within his dantian, his nascent divinity vanished abruptly.

Upon opening his eyes, Liang's surroundings transford dramatically. He found himself enveloped by a vast ocean of stars suspended in an endless void.

This was his Inner Universe, a unique realm shaped by Liang's cultivation of the Boundless Universe Art.

It existed on a different spaceti plane from his physical domain, currently its exact location a mystery to him. However, he possessed the ability to access this universe at will through his nascent divinity and universe source, establishing connections that enabled the exchange of substances and energies.

While his physical body could not teleport directly here, anything connected to his nascent divinity could be transported with ease.

In his Nascent Divinity form, Liang's gaze fixed upon a point in space where a colossal, crimson bird hung suspended within an intricate web of shadowy chains that relentlessly tugged at its limbs.

With a wave of his hand, the chains began to pulsate, each exerting an unrelenting force upon the phoenix's body from every conceivable angle.

Slowly but surely, the phoenix underwent a tamorphosis, fragnting into three distinct entities: a physical form, a translucent essence, and a radiant figure pulsating with divine light.

After a considerable amount of ti, the three entities separated fully.

Observing three figures, Liang couldn't help but smile in appreciation. They represented the body, the soul, and the spirit of Feng Xue, respectively.

Normally, the spirit would vanish the mont the soul and body died. However, Liang had brought Feng Xue's soul into his own universe before it could dissipate. Within his universe, he had complete control over all laws and rules, enabling him to preserve her spirit.

Looking at Feng Xue's soul, Liang's eyes flickered with thought. "I shouldn't have erased her consciousness so quickly. If I had, I might have been able to obtain all of her mories when I integrated her soul and spirit into mine."

Upon bringing Feng Xue into his universe, he had imdiately erased her consciousness. While Feng Xue was deceased, her consciousness would have gradually dissipated. He had taken the precaution of erasing it to avoid any risks.

Presently, he could only transport objects without vitality or life signatures into his universe. Living souls remained beyond his abilities.

Suddenly, an idea struck Liang. He now had everything necessary to cultivate the Nine Heavenly Spirit Art. The first step involved refining the Heavenly Spirit Fla.

"Half of the spirit and soul should be sufficient for the Heavenly Spirit Fla to absorb," Liang calculated thoughtfully.

To refine the Heavenly Spirit Fla, Liang must ticulously incorporate three essential elents:

Seven Special Flas of Diverse Origins, These flas must collectively represent a diverse array of characteristics and origins, ensuring a harmonious balance of elental energies.

True Spirit Fire Soul,The essence of a powerful fire-type soul, possessing the inherent ability to refine and subdue flas.

Fire Spirit, A sentient and autonomous entity, embodying the primordial essence of fire, guiding the refinent process .

With a flick of his wrist, Liang retrieved the Myriad Fire Chart.

The Myriad Fire Chart is an ancient relic featuring a matrix composed of six heavenly flas, each originating from distinct sources and possessing unique natures.

Solaris, A blazing inferno born in a realm called celestial sphere, embodying the sun's radiant heat and vitality.

Lunaris, an ethereal fla originating from the essence of countless moons.

Aquilon, A tempestuous fla surging from the northern heavenly winds.

Auster, a parched, desolate fla from the southern heavenly breeze, carrying the aridity of ancient deserts.

Zephyros, a gentle, restorative fla emanating from the west heavenly wind, nurturing and healing with its warm touch.

Boreas, A fierce, unrelenting fla originating from the eastern heavenly wind.

"Although each fla has distinct origins, four of them share a connection to wind essence," Liang observed, his eyes flickering thoughtfully. He waved his hand again and summoned three containers.

With a flick of his finger, the three containers opened.

Boom!

Three flas burst forth: a golden fla, a blue fla, and a sinister dark fla.

The golden fla, known as the Sacred Heart Fla, once belonged to the alchemist Yuan, who was killed by Kai after the auction.

The blue fla emanates from Jiang Yin, a fallen mber of the Legion who perished in the Devil Realm, later reclaid by Kai.

The final fla, known as the Sin Fla, belongs to Kai himself.

"Now for the last ingredient," Liang said, a smile playing on his lips as his Infernal Void fla materialized around him, gradually transforming into the shape of a flaming serpent.

Liang then opened the Myriad Fla Chart, extracting the six flas.

These six flas floated alongside the other three, creating a striking display.

In the outside world, this process would have demanded imnse effort to contain these flas. However, within his own universe, Liang effortlessly suppressed them as soon as they erged.

"Now with the first step," Liang muttered softly as he waved his hand and ford an invisible blade.

With a push of his hand the blade split in two, one heard for Feng Xue's soul while the other headed for her spirit.

The process was smooth as the spirit and the soul, each were split in two.

Liang waved his hand and half of the soul and the half of spirit slowly began to rge slowly into one intently.

With a look of satisfaction on his face, He moved to the next step, the infernal void fla serpent around him opened its mouth conjuring a terrifying suction force devouring all the flas in one breath.
