Upon hearing Liang's request, the four exchanged bewildered glances, uncertainty etched on their faces.

"What? Are you unwilling?" Liang's icy gaze swept over them.

"No, counselor, we wouldn't dare," the four hastily replied. Their lives were now in Liang's hands, and they wouldn't even think of questioning him.

Liang's expression softened slightly. "You have only fifty years, no more."

Their eyes widened, disbelief flooding their minds. Fifty years? Wasn't that too short for the imnse tasks ahead?

Nonetheless, they didn't dare to object.

"That's the spirit," Liang nodded with a satisfied smirk and turned around.

The four bowed respectfully.

"Rember, I'm not a rciful person. Don't screw up."

Their faces paled as they watched Liang's figure vanish.

As soon as his figure disappeared, Kael exhaled a long breath of relief. "Finally. He's gone."

"Too terrifying," Seraphina whispered, her voice trembling with fear.

Xul nodded grimly, recalling the previous, more benevolent leader "Boss Kai is much better than him."

"What if he can eavesdrop on our conversations through the runes in our alters?" Syx interjected sarcastically, a wry smile appearing on his face.

The remaining three mbers of the group fell silent, their gazes darting around their surroundings.

"Brother Syx, you're sending shivers down my spine," Xul couldn't but shout angrily.

"It would be wise to resu our responsibilities," Syx suggested calmly.

Seraphina glanced sharply at them. "Absolutely, we have much to accomplish."

"Benefactor, please stop."

Liang, who was flying leisurely through the clouds, ca to an abrupt halt.

A figure suddenly materialized before him.

It was none other than Sun Wu.

"Senior Sun?" Liang raised an eyebrow.

Sun Wu nodded. "Benefactor departed so swiftly that we did not have the chance to express our gratitude."

"Thank ?" Liang chuckled. "Senior Sun, you're too kind."

Sun Wu's eyebrows twitched, but before he could respond, Liang's appearance underwent a remarkable transformation.

His human form vanished, replaced by a colossal silver-winged serpent.

Sun Wu was taken aback by Liang's current appearance.

"True Spirit?" Sun Wu frowned slightly, then shook his head. "Not entirely, but indistinguishable from one."

Liang gazed at Sun Wu in his serpent form. "I rely aided you because it was the right thing to do."

Sun Wu laughed. "So, it's junior brother."

Liang reverted to his human form and smiled. "This continent now belongs to the Divine Spirit Palace. I hope senior brother will not resent my presence here."

Sun Wu chuckled. "Junior brother needn't worry. Consider this place your ho."

Liang nodded. "Then, I am indebted to you, senior brother."

"Junior brother is more than welco," Sun Wu replied sincerely.

"On that note, senior brother, I shall take my leave," Liang said, turning to go.

But Sun Wu's eyes narrowed. "Junior brother, wait."

"Yes, senior brother?" Liang paused and looked back, confusion etched on his face.

Sun Wu took a step forward and appeared beside Liang, patting his shoulder. "Is junior brother a lone wanderer?"

"Oh?" Liang t Sun Wu's gaze, then a wry smile spread across his face. "Why do you ask?"

Sun Wu shook his head. "No reason. Just a passing question."

Liang remained silent for a mont before answering. "It's a rather complicated matter."

Sun Wu raised an eyebrow. "I relish complexities. I would be delighted to hear junior brother's explanation."

Liang sighed and began to share his tale...

"This Dong Clan is outrageous! How dare they force junior brother into marriage!" Sun Wu snorted indignantly.

"My bloodline possesses a strong affinity for runic cultivation, which enabled to reach the Divine Stage in no ti. I fear they have discovered this," Liang explained with a bitter smile.

Sun Wu's expression darkened. "You are a spirit being, brother Liang. You cannot submit to such a fate."

Liang shrugged. "I am no weakling, but... I am no match for the Dong Clan. The last ti I attempted to escape, I found Dong Tian Di pursuing relentlessly throughout the domain."

Sun Wu scoffed. "Dong Tian Di? That old fool actually resorted to such tactics."

He patted Liang's shoulder. "Well, junior brother needn't worry about that anymore."

"How so?" Liang asked, his eyes wide with surprise.

Sun Wu grinned. "By joining the Divine Spirit Palace, of course."

Liang's eyes widened. "But..."

Sun Wu frowned. "No buts, junior brother. We spirit beings must stand united."

Emotion washed over Liang's face. "Senior brother, this..."

"Junior brother needn't concern himself. As Palace Master, I have the authority to decide who may and may not join. Regarding cultivation and bloodline inheritances, we possess an abundance of them. I'm certain you will find one suitable," Sun Wu explained confidently.

After a mont of hesitation, determination flashed in Liang's eyes. "Since senior brother has spoken thus, I have no choice but to accept."

"Excellent, that's the spirit." Sun Wu chuckled and again patted Liang's shoulder.

"Now, junior brother, accompany ," Sun Wu said as he vanished into the void.

Liang's lips curved into a cunning smile as he followed Sun Wu.

They soon arrived at a colossal floating island in the middle of the ocean.

Liang surveyed the island with amazent.

He could sense multiple eighth-order great formations and even a half-ninth-order formation just from a surface observation.

Noticing Liang's astonished expression, Sun Wu bead proudly. "What do you think? Impressive, right?"

Liang nodded, his gaze still scanning the surroundings.

"Haha, do you think that old Mo is the only one with formidable formations? Hmph, we have them too," Sun Wu boasted.

Liang's eyes held a newfound respect as he admitted, "Indeed, this is sothing I did not anticipate."

"Don't be surprised yet. There's even more to co," Sun Wu said with a hint of mischief as he entered the island, followed closely by Liang.

As Liang and Sun Wu crossed the threshold onto the floating island, a breathtaking spectacle unfolded before their eyes.

Countless majestic mountains rose from the ground, each adorned with a magnificent palace nestled upon its peak.

At the island's heart, suspended high in the sky, hovered an awe-inspiring central palace, its grandeur dwarfing all others.

Liang's gaze swept across the panorama, his senses overwheld by the sheer scale and opulence of the Divine Spirit Palace.

"This island is a testant to the power and prestige of our palace," Sun Wu said, his voice brimming with pride. "Each mountain represents a different bloodline heritage,"

Liang couldn't help but be impressed ,He could sense the presence of countless auras, each unique and brimming with potential.

"And that central palace?" Liang asked, his eyes fixed upon the colossal structure floating in the sky.

"That is the Immortal Palace. " Sun Wu replied. "It is the heart of our organization."

"Immortal Palace?" Liang exclaid in surprise.

Sun Wu nodded solemnly, his expression serious, "This na is known only to a select few, but since your power has already reached the Void Return Realm threshold, you are now qualified to know."

Liang's mind raced, confusion swirling within him. Despite this, he maintained a facade of gratitude, "To think that you would trust so deeply, senior brother."

With a playful laugh, Sun Wu gestured, "Junior brother, follow ," and soared toward the silhouette of the 'Immortal Palace' .

Though inwardly suspicious, Liang followed him, curiosity piqued but caution holding him back.

As they approached, the Immortal Palace lood larger, its magnificent gates embellished with intricate carvings of celestial beasts and swirling clouds. The air was charged with a strange yet ancient aura that made Liang's skin prickle.

"Stay close," Sun Wu instructed, turning to Liang calmly before stepping through the grand entrance.

Liang's frowned slightly. For so reason, this place gave him a strange sensation he couldn't pinpoint. As for the possibility of all this being a trap by Sun Wu, he didn't dismiss it. From the mont he had entered the island, he had already ford an ergency plan.

After a montary hesitation, Liang stepped inside the palace.

Liang followed Sun Wu through the Immortal Palace, his senses on high alert. Despite his doubts, he couldn't deny the allure of the floating island and its promise of power.

They walked for a long ti, passing through countless corridors and halls, each more opulent than the last. Finally, they arrived at a hidden entrance, concealed behind an unassuming curtain.

Sun Wu pushed the curtain aside, revealing a narrow staircase leading down into darkness.

Liang hesitated for a mont before following Sun Wu down the stairs. They descended deep beneath the palace, until they reached a spacious underground hall.

In the center of the hall was a circular cultivation platform, suspended in mid-air by four glowing crystals. Around the platform floated several strange stones, each emanating a different colored light.

Atop the cultivation platform sat a figure cloaked in flowing white robes, a white veil draping over their face, shrouding their features in mystery.

Sun Wu turned to Liang with a solemn expression. "Junior brother, this is the most sacred place in our palace. The one sitting there is our..." Sun Wu trailed off, his voice tinged with respect.

Liang looked at the figure, his curiosity piqued. He could sense a powerful aura emanating from the figure, but it felt strange and alien, unlike anything he had encountered before.

Before Sun Wu could complete his sentence, a chilling voice resonated in their minds. "Kid, I have been anticipating your arrival."
