The serpent, its majestic wings unfurling, surged toward the pillar of devilish qi. Its colossal form enveloped the pillar, and with a thunderous roar, it began to devour it voraciously. Instantly, the devilish qi pillar began to rapidly shrink, its presence slowly dissipating into the void.

"How dare you, lowly thing!" Mo Huang let out a startled cry, his eyes wide with disbelief, as his monstrous devilish figure began to tremble violently.

With a deafening crack, the pillar vanished entirely, and along with it, Mo Huang's devilish form crumbled into dust, disappearing without a trace.

As the serpent devoured the pillar of devilish qi, its corporeal form began to dissolve once more. This ti, however, its essence transford into countless golden runes that surged towards Liang's forehead.

The runes ford an intricate pattern across his forehead, glowing with a brilliant golden light. As they settled into place, Liang's eyes flickered slightly before returning to normal.

"Friend, I am in your debt," Sun Wu said, bowing deeply. "Your tily arrival saved us from a certain defeat."

Liang nodded slightly in Sun Wu's direction before his figure dissipated into thin air, leaving behind no trace of his existence.

"Mo Ji, what other tricks do you still have?" With the formation's destruction, Sun Wu regained his confidence and looked at Mo Ji with disdain.

"You don't need to be so smug. At most, our chances are equal," Mo Ji sneered.

Sun Wu laughed. "You aren't completely wrong in this regard."

Mo Ji snorted coldly. "Cut the empty talk. What are your demands?"

Sun Wu's face turned solemn upon hearing this. "I want half."

"You want half?" Mo Ji suddenly burst into laughter. "That's impossible."

"Hehe, then what do you suggest?" Sun Wu rubbed his nose, clearly feeling that it was a bit excessive too.

"Half of the outer ring and the Umbrella Expanse Continent. Other than that, forget about it," Mo Ji replied coldly.

Sun Wu's eyes flashed with hesitation for a mont before finally nodding. "We will accept this, but we will relocate the continent to our part of the outer ring, and we want you to retract the Devil Realm Formation from our territory as of now."

"So sudden?" Mo Ji sneered. "It seems like you don't trust my words."

Sun Wu's mouth twitched. In fact, his relationship with Mo Ji wasn't bad. The two of them even drank wine together.

"That's not a matter I can leave to your words alone." Sun Wu took out a red talisman from his space ring and threw it into the air.

The talisman instantly began to burn, eventually leaving a large hole in the void.

Seeing this, Mo Ji's eyes narrowed slightly.

Just then, from the hole, a great floating island erged.

The island flew from the hole instantly, making its way towards the outer ring.

Mo Ji's face turned serious as he ford a seal with his hand.

Instantly, around all the devil realms, a formation outline could be seen.

Mo Ji then began to form another seal with his hands. As the seal took shape, the entire devil realm shook slightly.

Taking a deep breath, Mo Ji pointed with his finger towards the outer ring.

Boom!

The devil realm shook once more. The outline of the great formation flicked slightly, then disappeared.

"It's done," Mo Ji snorted. "If I see any of your true spirit people again, I will refine their souls and boil their at."

Sun Wu's face darkened upon hearing this, but he didn't respond. He pointed in a certain direction and said, "What about the Umbrella Expanse Continent? Can't you move it using the formation?"

Mo Ji's face darkened upon hearing this. "Stinky monkey, any more words and I will fight it out with you to the death."

"Old Mo, don't be like this," Sun Wu cleared his throat. "Although we can relocate, I am afraid it may damage your formation."

Mo Ji took a deep breath as if suppressing the anger in his heart. "Yang Mo, help them with the relocation."

A figure suddenly materialized. It was none other than the man in white armor outside the inn.

Yang Mo's brow frowned slightly before eventually nodding.

"Do you have any other demands?" Mo Ji said coldly before disappearing.

In the desolate wilderness that clung to the Heavenly Devil Continent, Mo Ji's form materialized abruptly. He paused, his gaze sweeping across the barren landscape before resting on a particular direction.

"Young friend, there's no need to hide. Nothing within the devil realm eludes my perception."

A hearty laughter echoed through the surroundings as another figure appeared beside Mo Ji.

"Senior Mo, it is an honor to et you again," said the newcor, clasping his hands respectfully.

Mo Ji's laughter echoed again. "Junior Brother Liang, I presu?"

Liang's eyes flickered briefly before he nodded in confirmation. "Indeed. I did not anticipate that my identity would already be known to you."

"Every path leaves its traces, and yours is no different," Mo Ji shook his head. "Moreover, you have intentionally made your presence known this ti."

"Indeed, Senior Mo's perception is as sharp as ever," Liang chuckled.

"You have rendered a significant service. Do not hesitate to make known your request," Mo Ji replied calmly.

"Senior Mo overvalues my contributions. I am confident that without my assistance, you would have orchestrated a favorable outco," Liang responded with a hint of amusent.

"Unquestionably, the situation would have played out in my favor; however, your aid has indeed proven advantageous," Mo Ji admitted, his gaze thoughtful. "The circumstances at hand are not as straightforward as they may appear."

A flicker of curiosity spread across Liang's eyes at Mo Ji's cryptic words. "Initially, I surmised that you intended to exploit the Divine Spirit Palace's intervention to break the formation while avoiding Mo Huang's wrath. May I inquire as to the additional complexities you now speak of?"

A glimr of surprise montarily crossed Mo Ji's gaze before he erupted into hearty laughter. "To think that you have unraveled so much with re observation is truly impressive."

Liang shook his head modestly. "It is less arduous than one might imagine. Upon grasping the intricacies of the formation, the truth beca evident."

"I see," Mo Ji mused. "That explains your deductions." A thoughtful expression settled on his face. "This grand formation was largely the work of Mo Huang, himself. My role was that of an accomplice."

"And what was the nature of your alliance with him?" Liang inquired.

Mo Ji offered a wry smile. "Initially, I sought to manipulate him to further my own ambitions. However, my folly was swiftly laid bare."

"Events took an unexpected turn, did they?" Liang interjected.

"Indeed," Mo Ji sighed. "Mo Huang's cunning surpassed my wildest imaginings. He deftly reversed our positions, ensnaring in a web woven of deceit. By the ti I grasped his true nature, I found myself trapped beyond escape."

"So your collaboration was a matter of dire necessity?" Liang pressed.

"Necessity, indeed," Mo Ji assented. "I was given no choice. Resistance would have summoned his wrath and my swift demise. Thus, I feigned allegiance, biding my ti until an opportunity presented itself."

"An opportunity that arose with the arrival of the Divine Spirit Palace?" Liang suggested.

"You misunderstand," Mo Ji said, shaking his head. "Even without their intervention, I would have found a way to escape. I am the Realm Lord of the Devil Realm, after all. Subjugation is not sothing I would tolerate indefinitely."

"Then why did you endure such a prolonged period of cooperation?" Liang asked.

"Because I had my own agenda," Mo Ji said with a cryptic smile. "However, I cannot divulge the details at this juncture. Rest assured, I will share one piece of crucial information: Mo Huang's existence predates your wildest imagination. When he reigned supre over this domain, I was yet to grace the annals of existence."

Liang's brows raised slightly at this revelation. "Despite his ascension, he retains an interest in the lower realms."

"Interest?" Mo Ji chuckled darkly. "You overestimate his motives. He rely exploits the devil realm to cultivate a rare and powerful technique."

The concept of cultivation through the devil realm stirred Liang's curiosity. What technique could it be?

A sudden thought struck him, and his gaze turned toward a distant corner of the realm. A look of profound contemplation settled upon his features.

"The sin devils!" Liang exclaid.

"A keen observation," Mo Ji replied with a hint of admiration as his own gaze followed Liang's.

"The ergence and nature of the sin devils are inextricably linked to Mo Huang's existence," Mo Ji said grimly.

Liang's expression darkened as he digested this information.

"To be precise, he is cultivating an ancient technique involving the law of sin. The sin devils are his creations, vessels for his power," Mo Ji explained, a trace of amusent in his tone.

"Creations?" Liang's face grew ashen at this revelation.

Mo Ji nodded solemnly. "Indeed. Not only that, but these devils serve as his contingency plan. Should he face imminent demise, he could effortlessly absorb their essence to augnt his own power."

Liang suppressed his bad mood and listened intently.

"Furthermore," Mo Ji continued, "should Mo Huang perish, he could utilize the body of any of the sin devils as a vessel for his resurrection."
