Upon hearing this, the experts exchanged glances, aware that they were all Enlightened Level experts, two realms above the saintess.

Dong Rui's expression remained impassive, clearly anticipating the announcent. Her tranquil deanor was a sharp contrast to the animated discussions still buzzing around her.

"Since we have reached this point, let's proceed to the remaining unchallenged seats," declared Dong Tian Di, his voice carrying authority. "You may issue your challenges now."

An expert imdiately stepped forward, confident and determined. "I challenge Lin Xue."

Lin Xue gave a subtle nod, stepping onto the stage with a calm deanor. Both contestants vanished at once, appearing as projected images on the massive screens surrounding the arena.

A loud shout bood through the air, disrupting the brief silence. "Dong Tuo, relinquish your seat to !"

Dong Tuo, number 18, snorted dismissively. He made his way to the stage, his deanor exuding disdain as he faced off against the challenging expert.

The challenges continued, with three more experts issuing their calls, leading to a total of five intense battles transpiring simultaneously.

Curiously, three seats remained unchallenged: numbers 13, 15, and 16. The audience murmured in confusion, their eyes flicking towards the untouched seats.

As the fighting experts erged one after another, the arena buzzed with astonishnt. Despite the fierce battles, none of the original holders relinquished their seats, although five experts were ultimately defeated.

Three hours later, another round of challenges comnced. The sa three seats were mysteriously spared, to the continued surprise of the spectators. They understood the power of Dong Zi Long and Dong Wan'er, but Liang? No one had seen him fight. Why was he not challenged?

The second round concluded with one expert out and another acquiring seat number 17.

Three more hours passed, ushering in the third round. .

"It's impressive that Lin Xue has managed to hold out this long," one onlooker remarked.

"He must have so significant qualifications to have secured a participation token," another agreed.

The fourth round began, finally witnessing a shift. Seats 13 and 16 were challenged. However, as expected, the challengers failed; Dong Zi Long and Dong Wan'er retained their seats with ease. The notable change this ti was that, besides Lin Xue, all other seat holders had been replaced.

As the fifth round comnced, new challenges were issued, but, unsurprisingly, no one dared challenge Zi Long or Wan'er. However, a ripple of excitent spread through the crowd as one person stepped forth to challenge Liang.

An elderly man with long, silver-threaded black hair and a short white beard. His eyes, deep-set beneath bushy brows, hold a gentle twinkle. He wears a flowing robe of deep blue, its fabric adorned with intricate silver embroidery.

Instantly, the crowd erupted into a cacophony of whispers and jeers.

"The old relic finally made his move," sneered a particularly mocking voice from within the throng.

"How on earth did he get his hands on a token at his age?" another wondered aloud, the contempt in his voice unmistakable.

"Tsk tsk, this competition is ant for the younger generation," an elderly man said with a derisive tone, his eyes betraying a hint of jealousy as they darted toward the arena.

"Indeed, he is far too shaless to challenge young hero Liang," another elder chid in disapprovingly.

"It's the ti to see what power this Liang truly possesses," remarked a young-looking man, his voice tinged with discontent, clearly displeased with Liang's unchallenged status.

Remaining calm and seated, Liang addressed the elderly man across from him. "Senior Bao, correct?"

Surprise flashed across Dong Bao's face, but he nodded. "Indeed, that's ."

The two of them locked eyes for a tense mont. A flicker of surprise appeared on Dong Bao's face, quickly replaced by hesitation, then determination. Taking a deep breath, he turned to Dong Tian Di. "I mistook young brother Liang for soone else, hence my challenge. Instead, I'd like to take seat number eighteen."

Gasps of shock rippled through the crowd.

Dong Tian Di's face darkened with irritation. "Elder Bao, do you think this competition is a joke? Do you take for a fool?"

Dong Bao remained impassive. "Clan Head, I am old and muddle-headed. Forgive ."

Tian Di snorted, turning his gaze to Liang. Uncertainty flickered in his eyes. What exactly is happening? Why is no one challenging this man?

Support for Liang seed to spill from several elders, What could possibly sway these veterans in favor of an outsider?

Suddenly, a thought surged through his mind, compelling his gaze to lock onto a figure within the bustling crowd. He quickly dismissed the notion, shaking his head. Elder Hue simply did not possess the influence or charisma needed to sway such a large assembly in favor of an outsider.

Dismissing these stray musings, he gestured dismissively with a flick of his wrist, "You may have your challenge."

The expert occupying seat number eighteen rose with asured grace, his eyes sharp and focused, and began making his deliberate way toward the stage, following in the wake of Elder Bao.

The duel that ensued was brief yet intense—a flurry of movent and power that concluded with Elder Bao's decisive victory. With that final bout, the contest for the coveted eight seats reached its conclusion.

"Now, moving on to the next round," Dong Tian Di announced, his voice smooth and unruffled, his eyes scanning the twenty assembled experts like a hawk surveying its domain. "Anyone wishing to change their seat order may step forward. However," he added with a note of solemn warning, "you are permitted to issue only one challenge and may receive up to two."

Yunn Li was the first to step forward, He issued a challenge to the expert occupying the second seat, igniting a wave of murmurs.

The ensuing battle stretched on for hours, each exchange filled with fierce determination and extraordinary skill. Eventually, Yunn Li erged victorious, his endurance and technique triumphant.

One by one, the remaining challengers, ten half-divine experts, took their turns. Each clash was a spectacle of power and finesse, pushing the participants to their limits. By the ti the final challenge concluded, every expert had exhausted their opportunities.

Looking at the eleven half-divine experts, Dong Tian Di nodded, a satisfied gleam in his eyes.

"Now, let's settle the matter of the other eight seats."
