Kai stood, looking at the goblins that had been summoned for the next wave.

’If I want to impress the viewers and keep them, then I have to ensure that I show off.’ Kai thought to himself. He gripped the sword tight.

"Alright, let’s use the butterfly dance." The mont he said that, his mind shifted into gear, his feet twisted and he launched forward like a bullet, his body turning into a blur.

His eyes locked onto the first goblin. He thrust his sword, and it moved like it was carried by wings, flowing forward in his hands. The feeling was amazing, precise, clean and most of all, intoxicating.

The blade stabbed through the goblin without resistance, barely any blood had dropped before Kai pulled the sword out, planted his foot and spun around, slashing down into the next goblin and cleaving it in half clean.

The system notifications ca, but they acted like a distraction to Kai.

"Mute notifications." He said, while still moving forward, dancing like a butterfly as he cleaned out all the weak goblins in an instant.

When he finally stopped, their blood fell to the ground, not a single drop was on him or his sword.

[Butterfly Dance Completion: 2%]

Kai stood there, his breathing slightly heavy, but a smile plastered on his face.

"That felt nice." He said.

[Savage-Rider22: what was that sword style just now? WTH]

[LordGooner143: He danced right through those goblins]

[SinnerMan: How is a level 4 this strong, sothing isn’t right]

The chat instantly exploded after seeing Kai’s sword style. It looked extrely refined and out of this world. It looked to them like Kai was floating through the fight.

Kai read the chats quickly, and he couldn’t help but smile, his showing off had actually worked.

’If I keep this up, I should be able to gather more views.’ Kai thought to himself. He looked at the three hobgoblins that were standing opposite him. They had watched him kill their kind because there was nothing that they could really do about it.

The center goblin seed enraged by what Kai did. It let out a growl, the buff above its head activated, and an area of effect was created, imdiately buffing the other two goblins.

"So that’s what it does." Kai muttered. He wasn’t bothered though. With the buff of his current viewers working, and with the butterfly dance, he was for sure going to win this.

[Mission update: Show off]

[Description: a good strear should be capable of drawing more attention and drama, use whatever ans you have to take your views from 2500 to 3000 in under one minute]

[Reward: Special S ranked item]

Before Kai could engage the goblins for a fight, the system sent him a ssage. He looked at it with shock in his eyes, and then a smile ford on his face.

"You want a show? I’ll give you a show." He muttered, still keeping his eyes on the goblins who were about to attack.

"Chat, listen, if you can reshare and gift until we make up to three thousand viewers, I’ll use a spell that can take down three goblins at once. No ti to waste, it’s now or never." Kai said.

The goblins rushed at him, spreading out and attacking from three angles.

The first one stabbed at him. Kai dodged, and then kicked the ground, retreating a few steps instantly. He looked at the view count while dodging the attacks. It had already risen to 2600, but that was far from the goal.

’Co on, co on guys.’ He said in his mind, while ducking under the sword of the goblins.

Karghhhhhhhhhhh!

The center goblin got enraged by the fact that Kai was playing with it, so it increased its speed and rushed forward madly, driving its sword at Kai.

"Shit." Kai cursed as he dodged the blade that almost cleaved off his head. He stumbled backwards and fell to the ground, the goblins imdiately converged to kill him.

He swung his sword, blocking their attack in one swoop, then rolled onto his feet quickly. The level eight goblin was unrelenting though. It lunged forward again, attacking with a wide slash.

Kai blocked the slash and pushed the goblin back. He didn’t counterattack, because he wanted to drive for 3000 views and use his special spell as he promised.

The other goblins caught up. One attacked with a thrust, Kai parried the attack before kicking it in the gut, throwing it back, giving himself enough ti to block the attack of the second. The level eight goblin rushed from the side, fangs bared. It leaped into the air and slashed down.

Kai stepped back, dodging the attack. The goblin imdiately ca from below with a slash. Kai leaned back as far as he could in that mont, barely dodging the attack, then he leaned forward and headbutted the goblin, before pushing the other goblin away.

’This level eight goblin definitely has an issue with .’ Kai thought. He got ready to ward them off again.

[Viewers 2800]

Kai looked at the viewer count. He was still two hundred viewers away.

’This might be a bit longer.’ He thought. It was known in streaming that the higher one got in viewers, the harder it was for the numbers to increase. Maybe it was the way to regulate or sothing of that nature. Kai wasn’t sure at all.

The goblins lunged at him again, circling him and attacking. Kai blocked and weaved as fast as he could, forcefully breaking out of their formation. He imdiately put so distance between them again.

He looked at the count once more, and it was at two thousand nine hundred and fifty. He was a few viewers shy of what he needed to do.

Knowing that he would soon reach the goal, he retreated imdiately, putting more distance between him and the goblins.

"Lightning Fall." Kai suddenly called out, and from thin air, a blue magical circle ford, stretching fifteen ters wide. The goblins looked up, only to see the flood of lightning falling from above.

CRACKLE! BOOM!
