"…To think Naruto has grown to such a level… If that's the case, as his mother, I can finally be at peace. Kazuki-sama really is soone we could trust after all…"

Uzumaki Kushina looked up at Naruto, who now resembled a true sage, and gave a heartfelt smile.

"Kazuki? Who's that…" Off to the side, the alternate-universe Senju Tobirama—who had been knocked down by Naruto—gritted his teeth and said: "You do know sothing! Why didn't you tell us?!"

"Second Hokage… you can't expect a mother to betray her own son. And even if what Naruto has done doesn't sit right with you, he's still shown a great deal of rcy toward Konoha."

Kushina shrugged. "You know full well what Sarutobi Hiruzen and Shimura Danzō did. Sure, my boy may have borrowed your na, but he had no other choice…"

Senju Tobirama shook his head in frustration but said nothing more.

He truly couldn't understand what had been going through the minds of those two—Monkey and Danzō.

Why treat the son of the fallen Fourth Hokage like that?!

Were they out of their minds?!

The way Naruto had been treated since childhood—even Tobirama, with his notoriously thick skin—was at a loss for words.

The fact that Naruto had still been willing to help save Konoha, that he had only killed Shimura Danzō without doing anything more extre…

In Tobirama's eyes, that showed remarkable self-restraint.

"Sigh… Hiruzen, Danzō…" Tobirama let out a heavy sigh. He didn't want to say any more. He simply looked up toward Naruto, now like a celestial being, unsure what else could even be done.

"Don't worry, Second Hokage…" Kushina spoke gently.

"Kazuki-sama is a very, very good person. Naruto, raised under his guidance, would never do anything truly extre to the shinobi world."

She looked at Naruto, whose chakra had grown increasingly dense and mighty, and said with a beaming smile: "You can rest easy… Kazuki-sama is a sage, you know!"

"Kazuki?" Senju Tobirama let out a cold snort. "Just hearing that na—it reeks of Uchiha. I suspect this 'Kazuki' is probably so ancient Uchiha pulling strings behind the scenes, leading Naruto down a dark path!"

"Co on, Second Hokage—give it a rest," Kushina said, raising an eyebrow. "Kazuki-sama can't possibly be an Uchiha."

"You've just never t him. If you ever did, maybe even you would be won over by Kazuki-sama's character and charm…"

"Impossible. Absolutely impossible!" Tobirama's face darkened. He spoke in a deep voice: "How could I ever approve of soone who impersonated ?! I knew it—There's no way a re kid could pull off being !"

"It has to be that Kazuki's doing!"

And in that mont, the alternate-universe Senju Tobirama began speculating—

Just which Uchiha was behind this?

Was it so elaborate genjutsu from a Mangekyō Sharingan?

Or could that bastard Uchiha Izuna have survived after all?

After all, if soone could mimic him, that bastard was the only one remotely capable of doing so…

High above, in the sky—

Naruto stared straight at the space before him and spoke slowly: "You can stop hiding now, Sage of Six Paths. There's no need to question it—The chakra of Asura's reincarnation, once within , has already been absorbed."

"Including Indra's chakra—I've absorbed that as well."

"This shinobi world was never ant to be your playground—nor your children's testing ground."

Naruto could feel the imnse power surging through his body—

Yet his brow furrowed. "Hand over the energy of the Pure Land. Out of respect for Kurama, we don't need to escalate this into a fight."

"Kurama," Naruto asked, "with the power we have now—can we travel through space?"

"Not yet… we still need more."

The fox that had absorbed all the Tailed Beasts shook its head. "The universe is vast and unknown… We need the old man's Pure Land. I agree with this plan."

And at that mont—

The Sage of Six Paths slowly manifested before them.

His brow was tightly knit as he stared at Naruto. "The power of the Tailed Beasts… is a disaster waiting to happen. Bringing them together with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path—You'll release sothing far worse than a demon."

"That kind of power… You're still a mortal. You can't possibly control it."

Without another word—not even to Kurama—the Sage of Six Paths brought his palms together.

No heartfelt pleas.

No persuasion.

Only cold resolve.

He summoned the full power of the Pure Land—

And unleashed the Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei,

The sa technique originally intended to seal away Kaguya!

The Sage, who had wavered monts earlier—

Had flown into a rage the mont he learned that Naruto had erased the chakras of both Asura and Indra!

Just like Sarutobi Hiruzen had only cast Reaper Death Seal at the very end,

Only now—after Naruto had ascended to the level of a sage—did the Sage of Six Paths finally unleash his true strength.

He wanted to seal Naruto away—

Imprison him like Kaguya, forever trapped within the Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei,

So that the shinobi world could return to order.

As for Kurama?

A fox that had betrayed him—

There was nothing left to discuss.

"So strong…!"

Naruto narrowed his eyes.

The Sage of Six Paths, once resolute, now attacked with full force—

And his assault far exceeded anything Naruto had anticipated.

"Of course he's strong—He's the spirit of a thousand years of shinobi history!"

Kurama roared, "Don't be afraid, Naruto! Once we break free of this prison—We'll finally be free!"

And in that mont—

Just as Naruto and Kurama were about to risk everything in one final gamble—

A blinding white light burst forth from Naruto's chest,

Transforming into a colossal hand that seed to stretch infinitely outward—

And shattered the core of the Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei in a single punch!

"Kazuki-ni-san—"

Kazuki-sama!"

Naruto and Kurama cried out in unison:

"—The third chakra he left behind!"

All these years—

That third trace of Kazuki's chakra had remained silent, dormant—

So quiet it felt as though it didn't exist at all.

Naruto and Kurama had never really thought about it.

After all—

Kazuki had already given them so much.

They couldn't possibly ask for more...

But just as the "no-longer-hesitating Sage of Six Paths" struck with full force—

That dormant chakra suddenly awakened.

With a power that defied all understanding—

It obliterated the Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei.

And with it—

Defeated the Sage of Six Paths.

"Naruto… Kurama… I'm proud of how far you've co."

Kazuki's voice drifted gently into their ears.

"I've already seen it—We'll run into each other again soday… At a tavern, sowhere on so planet, in so tiline."

"I look forward to sharing a drink with the free versions of you both."

[Bestowal of the Otherworld (Naruto)]: You have received a gift from an alternate dinsion. Your resistance to repulsion effects within the laws of space-ti has increased. You have gained the ability to convert space-ti energy.

[From the target, the alternate-dinsion Nine-Tails: You have gained a special talent—Guardian of the Nine-Tails!]

[Guardian of the Nine-Tails]: When you or your followers use the Heavy Particle Mode, the resulting power is greatly enhanced, and the backlash caused by radiation is significantly reduced.

As an outsider, this was the first side benefit Kazuki reaped from another tiline…

And it was a lucrative one.

All Kazuki had to pay was so unimportant ti—and a casual burst of chakra capable of slaying a Sage of Six Paths.

"These bits of chakra… just a snack, really. They don't affect the overall situation," Kazuki murmured, raising an eyebrow as he felt the massive surge of chakra rushing through his body, unconcerned.

Through Kazuki's Rinnegan ability Brahma-Manifested Svadhisthana, the elevation of Naruto—from a child to a sage—was returned to him severalfold...

"…What... what's going on?"

Kaguya looked around in confusion. She and Kazuki had rely been strolling along the seafloor—and yet suddenly, an overwhelming amount of chakra was flooding into Kazuki's body, its origin completely unknown…

"My Rinnegan ability brought back so chakra from that other-tiline Naruto."

Kazuki shook his head. "Don't worry about it. This chakra isn't of much use. Even if I received several tis more, it wouldn't change my current level of existence…"

"It's better than nothing, I suppose."

Kaguya opened her mouth slightly and nodded blankly. "Ah, I see…"

At that mont, Kaguya—with her dazed look—was very much like a housewife doing chores. She knew her husband could bring ho a little money, but one day he ca back from work, groceries in one hand and a massive gold bar in the other, casually saying it was just so overti pay…

Back then, when Kaguya obtained a single Chakra Fruit, she had to risk her life for it!

Kazuki smiled and didn't bother with the stunned Kaguya, continuing his stroll along the seafloor.

Every current in the ocean around him seed like an extension of his consciousness, constantly probing the vast sea… and the greed rooted in his bloodline guided him—toward the god's remains.

"Kaguya, I've found the remains of the Ōtsutsuki God…"

Monts later, Kazuki's pupils contracted slightly as he said in a low voice, "Be careful… it possesses an overwhelming power of temptation toward those with Ōtsutsuki blood…"

Kaguya responded gravely, "Understood, Kazuki!"

Though she felt puzzled—why hadn't she sensed any of this so-called temptation?—since Kazuki said so, she obediently used her chakra to shield her mind.

Kazuki waved his hand.

The surrounding ocean currents surged around him and propelled him forward like a violent spear.

Monts later—

Kazuki ca to a halt, frowning at the bizarre sight before him.

The so-called remains of the Ōtsutsuki God no longer bore anything resembling a human form. Only a fragnt of withered bone, roughly the size of a forearm, lay quietly on the seabed's sandy floor.

There was nothing remarkable about its appearance.

It looked just like the skeletal remains of so fish—common debris scattered throughout the ocean, the discarded husk of a loser in the struggle for survival...

But the mont Kazuki approached—

Kaguya's eyes turned blood-red in an instant!

"Chakra… I must have that chakra!" she cried out in a frenzy, losing control. Her bloodline's overwhelming thirst for evolution twisted her thoughts into chaos.

Kazuki watched her.

It wasn't just Kaguya. As a mber of the Ōtsutsuki clan himself, Kazuki also felt the sa inner restlessness…

It looked like nothing more than a withered bone, but through the lens of bloodline greed, it was like the scepter of a king. If he could get his hands on it, he could seize ultimate power and authority!
