Water Release: Heaven's Cry!

The reason behind this na is explained in Konoha's official ninjutsu records as follows:

"When this technique is unleashed, it's like a torrential downpour erupting from a clear blue sky—impossible to predict or defend against..."

Sounds impressive on paper.

But in practice? It's more like two people locked in a fierce swordfight, sparks flying from every clash—when suddenly, Tobirama just spits in his opponent's face.

Of course that'd catch anyone off guard!

Techniques like stepping on soone's toes or spitting at them are the sort of tricks kids use in playground fights…

Crude, highly insulting—but in most cases, all it does is make your opponent even angrier.

Yet Tobirama had a knack for turning the childish into the deadly.

He elevated "spitting" into an art form.

Water Release: Heaven's Cry was a hand seal–free technique that, when paired with precise Water Style chakra shape transformation, produced hyper-sharpened water needles—refined to the point that they could pierce straight through a Uchiha's eyeball.

"Tobirama really did spend his whole life tangled up with Uchiha Izuna…"

Kazuki's gaze turned distant as he recalled the story Tobirama had shared with him while teaching this move.

The idea for this technique, the spark that birthed it, ca from Tobirama's final duel with Uchiha Izuna.

At the ti, locked in close combat, Tobirama had repeatedly found himself involuntarily locking eyes with the Sharingan—succumbing for brief monts to genjutsu and being knocked away.

Although the battle ultimately ended in Tobirama's victory—driving his Flying Thunder God Slash straight through Izuna's chest, bringing a close to their long-standing rivalry...

Uchiha Izuna's condition deteriorated rapidly afterward. He died not long after due to his injuries.

Still, Tobirama never forgot that one exchange—the mont he had been overpowered.

Perhaps it was to commorate Izuna.

Or maybe it was to better handle the Uchiha as a whole.

Whatever the reason, Tobirama created Water Release: Heaven's Cry, a technique specifically designed for close-range encounters with Uchiha opponents—when visual contact couldn't be avoided and there was no ti to form hand seals.

With this move, if he ever had to cross blades with Uchiha Izuna again, Tobirama could simply shut his eyes and unleash a sudden flurry of water needles like pear blossoms in a storm—striking straight at his lifelong enemy.

"Naruto, did you see that? The key to a technique isn't how flashy it looks, or how wide its area of effect is—it's all about precision…"

With a clap of his hands, Kazuki summoned waves of water that surged in from all directions, engulfing Uchiha Obito.

Gradually, the water enclosed around him in a sphere-shaped prison. Countless water tendrils locked down his limbs, sealing him completely.

Just like that scene back when Kazuki first debuted at the Academy—when he trapped Obito in a Water Prison.

Big Obito, little Obito—in front of Kazuki, he had always been the sa simple-minded child.

As Uchiha Obito's technique collapsed, the Uchiha Fla Formation began to crumble.

The wall of fire that had separated Naruto from the rest of them faded away, allowing the other Uchiha to finally see the battlefield clearly.

Uchiha Fugaku stood expressionless, staring at the scene, a storm of emotions churning in his heart.

And he wasn't the only one.

All around, the other Uchiha felt a surge of regret and sha coil around their hearts like a snake.

How had they ever been so arrogant?

Had they truly believed that the Sharingan, the Mangekyō Sharingan, made them invincible?

One of them possessed a space-warping Mangekyō ability that defied logic.

Another was on the brink of unlocking the third stage of Susano'o, complete with the fabled spiritual weapon of legend…

Yet here they were…

Bested—by a seven-year-old brat—

—using nothing more than the most basic Earth and Water Release techniques, plus so move that looked like spitting...

What a joke. Seriously, what a damn joke…

Mangekyō Sharingan? Might've been overhyped after all.

An elderly Uchiha, his clouded Sharingan eyes trembling, stared in disbelief.

For a fleeting mont, he saw a shadow in Naruto—

—soone from the past.

Soone who, just like Naruto, knew the Uchiha all too well.

Soone who understood the Sharingan and the Mangekyō better than most Uchiha themselves.

A demon cloaked in the na of justice—

The evil Senju who once led his clan to defeat the Uchiha in open battle, who outmaneuvered Uchiha Madara and drove him from Konoha…

Senju Tobirama!

The elder dared not speak this aloud.

He kept the surreal thought buried deep, sothing to ponder later when the storm had passed.

"You… uh… Sir… No, forget it—whatever your title may be…"

Uchiha Fugaku stepped forward, unsure how to address the boy.

He lowered his head slightly in a respectful bow.

"Thank you… for saving the Uchiha clan."

But Kazuki didn't respond.

His eyes flicked sideways—toward Uchiha Obito. A sharp glint flashed between his brows.

"Naruto… that Uchiha, the one with space-ti powers—he's using so kind of secret jutsu to repair himself."

Kazuki's tone was calm, yet heavy.

"I'm guessing he's planning to flee with the other Uchiha. Killing him now wouldn't be hard. So… do you want to spare them, or should I take care of it for you?"

Seeing the uncertainty on Naruto's face, Kazuki reached out and gave him a gentle pat.

Wasn't Obito already sealed up tight in the Water Prison?

How could he still escape?

"Rember," Kazuki said softly, "you've inherited sensory powers from your mother. And you've got the Nine-Tails by your side—it has abilities far beyond what you can imagine…"

"You and the Nine-Tails… are both my friends. But this world—its waters run deeper than either of you can yet comprehend. Fate, once anchored by the strong, won't shift on its own. If you want true freedom, you'll need to walk this path together, side by side."

"I'm just a passerby. A traveler. And travelers always have a next destination. From here on, it's your journey—you two need to talk it through, lean on each other, and keep moving forward."

Naruto's eyes went wide with alarm.

"You're leaving? Kazuki-nii?!"

Beside him, the Nine-Tails slowly placed a paw on Naruto's shoulder, its face somber.

"Naruto… this is who Kazuki-sama truly is."

"Our eting him—yours and mine—that's already an incredible stroke of luck."

"Steady yourself. Kazuki-sama awakened your mother's sensory ability for a reason. Now feel it—tune in to the chakra fluctuations of that masked Uchiha."

"There's a huge concentration of Yin Release chakra in his eyes. I don't know how he pulled it off, but it's proof he can still fight back."

"Focus. Honor the effort Kazuki put into teaching you—not with sorrow, but with resolve."

The Nine-Tails, too, felt reluctant to part with Kazuki.

A powerful warrior who always thought of others, whose nature was unexpectedly kind…

To both Naruto and the beast within him, Kazuki had beco more than just an ally.

He was a friend, a teacher—almost a father figure.

But the Nine-Tails was nothing if not wise.

How could soone as carefree, free-spirited, and powerful as Kazuki ever remain tied down to the shinobi world?

From another perspective, if Kazuki were to stay inside Naruto forever, it would contradict everything his character stood for...

Leaving—that was the perfect punctuation mark to the persona Kazuki had so carefully crafted.

"I… I understand!"

After being sternly lectured by the Nine-Tails, Naruto—who had been on the verge of tears, his lips already trembling—suddenly wiped his eyes with his sleeve.

Then, fully focused, he began to sense Uchiha Obito's chakra.

"Whoa… he really is! That Yin Release chakra he's gathering is insanely strong… What's he doing?"

Naturally, what Obito was doing was activating Izanagi using his spare eye.

It was, in a way, his one stroke of luck amidst misfortune.

Though he'd lost the terrifying dual Kamui, Uchiha Madara had left behind enough spare Sharingan—each with three tomoe—to act like a pocketful of revival coins.

When combined with the forgiving margin of error granted by Kamui's defensive abilities, Obito had beco incredibly hard to truly bring down.

Unfortunately for him… he'd run into Kazuki.

Even in Naruto's body, Kazuki was all about specialized attack.

"Kazuki-nii… let him go."

Naruto took a deep breath and said slowly, "Having soone like him as an enemy will keep sharp. I'll stay focused on my training."

He looked up, eyes unwavering.

"Especially because… I can't rely on you to handle everything for . I'll use him—his life—as the target for my very first trial."

Then Naruto hesitated for a mont, lowered his head slightly, and asked quietly: "Kazuki-nii… if I beco strong enough, will I have the chance to find you again?"

"I promise I won't bother you. I'll train, and I'll get really, really strong. Maybe by then, I won't be a burden anymore… Maybe I could even be of help to you."

This ti, the Nine-Tails didn't stop him.

He simply looked at Kazuki with quiet anticipation, his tall fox ears perked up, waiting for an answer.

The Nine-Tails, too, wanted to see Kazuki again soday.

Whether to help… or simply because he missed him—he hoped their paths would cross again.

Kazuki smiled and gave a gentle nod.

"Of course, Naruto. When you transcend the shinobi world—when you're able to travel freely through the stars—we just might et again, in so distant corner of space and ti."

"I'll be proud to see you then, free of the chains of fate. You'll probably be a grown man by that ti, won't you? It would bring joy to see you truly free."

"I promise, Naruto—if that day cos, I'll share a drink with you and Kurama. To celebrate the success of you both."

Kazuki reached out and gently patted Naruto and the Nine-Tails on the head.

"Just one thing I need to correct, Naruto," he said softly.

"You're not my disciples… you're my friends."

A strange, indescribable feeling welled up in both Naruto and the Nine-Tails.

Friend.

They were Kazuki's friends.

And the image he had painted—the two of them, traveling freely across the universe, one day eting Kazuki again and sharing a drink under the stars—made their hearts leap with excitent.

To see Kazuki's eyes, filled with pride and relief…

What a beautiful, thrilling vision that was.

Kurama and Naruto had slipped into a beautiful daydream.

anwhile, Kazuki silently watched the boy and the beast, one brow slightly raised.

He wasn't just feeding them fantasies.

After all the training they'd undergone under his guidance, Naruto and Kurama had already gained enough foundational ninjutsu knowledge to realistically aim for a full-fledged Six Paths state…

As for what ca after, Kazuki would prepare contingency plans of his own.

As long as the two of them remained diligent and stayed true to their path, they could absolutely achieve what he had described.

After all—one was the reincarnation of Asura's chakra, and the other, half of the Ten-Tails.

Their starting line was already far beyond most.

If it were just an average jōnin—soone like Asuma, for instance—their potential ceiling would've been locked from the start…
