Senju Tobirama and Uchiha Izuna were both burning through an enormous amount of chakra...
One of them had to constantly use the Flying Thunder God Technique to avoid the attacks from the Limbo: Border Jail clones—
Although Senju Tobirama wasn't sure whether Uchiha Madara was actively targeting him, he had no doubt that his old enemy harbored a murderous hatred. So he could only keep teleporting to stay alive.
anwhile, Uchiha Izuna had to endure the burning tornt of the Wakatsuki Flas adjusting constantly around him, and still managed to spare a hand to protect Kazuki's coffin, preventing Uchiha Obito from using Kamui to teleport it away…
Neither Uchiha Izuna nor Uchiha Madara had anticipated it—
Uchiha Obito, who had been listless and seemingly disinterested in everything for so ti, would suddenly turn on them at the very last mont!
The clash between Senju Tobirama and Uchiha Madara didn't even qualify as a proper battle.
As long as Uchiha Izuna sacrificed one eye, Uchiha Madara could have completely ignored Tobirama's interference, taken Kazuki's coffin, then effortlessly wiped out the remaining Konoha shinobi—declaring this ambush a flawless victory.
But despite that—
Uchiha Obito still made a decisive move, as if he were a hidden unit lying in ambush at Tobirama's flank, suddenly springing out to disrupt everything!
What shocked Uchiha Madara, Uchiha Izuna, and the others even more—
Was that the power Obito displayed was simply outrageous. The spatial turbulence from both his Kamui eyes reached absurd levels. Even Uchiha Madara's full-body Susanoo was twisted apart as if it were paper. Combined with his intangibility defense—
Susanoo's full-powered strikes could split mountains in a single slash. But could they cut through space?
They couldn't. Which ant they couldn't harm Uchiha Obito at all.
For a mont—
The battle on the field saw Rinnegan-wielding Uchiha Madara evenly matched with Uchiha Obito!
It was truly shocking.
At that mont, Ōnoki—who had been subdued by Hiruzen Sarutobi after holding back his true power—gazed at Obito's astonishing display of Kamui with cloudy, restrained eyes. His emotions were in turmoil.
Konoha… truly terrifying beyond asure.
Others might not understand Uchiha Obito. But Ōnoki had personally tried to assassinate him—so he knew full well!
How the hell had that brat survived?
Ōnoki had laid everything out: Earth Release to bind him, Dust Release to disintegrate him, reduced to bone dust—a full combo aid for guaranteed death.
And yet, Obito was still alive and kicking?
Not only that, he now wielded terrifying ocular powers and raw strength, enough to match Uchiha Madara head-on…
Did the Uchiha clan really possess so great destiny?
The unyielding Will of Stone, the strongest shell of conviction—shattered into pieces under Kazuki's impact, then further eroded by the enslavent of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, until its core teetered on the verge of collapse.
Obito's terrifying growth had beco the final straw that broke the cal's back—filling Ōnoki with an overwhelming dread of the Uchiha na.
Every one of those red-eyed monsters was a freak. Madara and Kazuki didn't even need to be ntioned—Ōnoki had never dread of fighting them directly.
But even Uchiha Obito had turned out to be this powerful?
Three consecutive shocks shattered Ōnoki's will, plunging this inheritor of the Stone Will into deep despair…
...
"…Good kid. As expected of the Uchiha I picked. You actually made it this far."
Uchiha Madara narrowed his eyes and said coldly: "Your ocular powers are troubleso, I'll admit. But in the end, you're still just a rat that can only take hits. That little intangibility trick of yours—during your attacks, you'll have to materialize, won't you?"
"Am I wrong?"
"You don't dare use Kamui on … because you're worried that my Limbo clones are faster than your intangibility and could kill you first."
"So, your plan is to drag this out—see whose ocular power lasts longer?"
With just a few words, Uchiha Madara, drawing from his vast battle experience, had laid bare the essence and limitations of Kamui.
"You're just a walking corpse with one foot in the grave, clinging to life through so borrowed shell…"
Obito looked at Uchiha Madara with deep loathing. "You preach about saving the world, about dispelling hatred from people's hearts—but everything you've done only deepens that hatred and leaves more blood on the ground."
"All I ever wanted was to live a quiet life with Rin. I never even wanted to awaken this Mangekyō Sharingan! All the pain I've suffered—it's all because of you, you bastard!"
"And now, you even want to take Kazuki, the only one who could truly set this world on the right path, and use your twisted ideology to brainwash him?"
"I'm telling you now—forget it!"
"Rin and I will save Kazuki ourselves. In this world full of lies and deceit, the three of us will co up with our own way—a real path to peace!"
Uchiha Madara fell silent for a mont.
Had this kid figured out his entire plan? And then, with Obito's repeated ntions, Madara picked up on a particular na: Rin.
Wasn't that the sa na Black Zetsu had used to deceive Obito back then?
Madara vaguely rembered…
Connecting the dots from Obito's current behavior, Madara seed to realize sothing. Tilting his head slightly, he looked at Obito and chuckled mockingly.
"You brat… I thought you'd grasped the true nature of this hellish shinobi world—and were determined to change it."
"Looks like I overestimated you. You're just so lovesick, wet-behind-the-ears kid who fell for a puppet."
"You don't even know, do you? That Uchiha Rin you speak of—she was nothing more than a creation of my Yin-Yang Release. What you later saw… that mud-like, grotesque thing nad Black Zetsu—that was her."
Uchiha Madara let out a cruel, demonic laugh, a whisper in the dark: "You killed it in a mont of rage, didn't you? So tell , boy—what did you fall in love with? The skin I crafted for it using White Zetsu's shell…"
"Or its soul?"
Madara waited eagerly for Obito to crack—to lose his mind under the weight of truth.
Falling for Uchiha Rin was understandable…
Because she had been ticulously tailored by Madara and Black Zetsu, crafted to suit Uchiha Obito's past and the clan's preferences—an artisan-level puppet, forged in the traditional way.
But no matter how pretty the costu or mask—
The greatest horror was when the mask was peeled back… and revealed sothing so hideous beneath.
A being without even a face, nothing more than a pile of oozing sludge—that was Black Zetsu. And Madara didn't believe for a second that Obito wouldn't feel sothing—anything—upon learning the truth.
After all… everyone cares about appearances.
But to Madara's surprise, Obito didn't flinch at all.
Instead… he smiled.
"Uchiha Madara. Did you really think I was as shallow as you? Whether it's Zetsu or Rin—none of that matters to . As long as she's still her, that's enough."
Obito then gave Madara a smile—one that mirrored Madara's own usual scorn.
"You think I really killed Rin? I actually figured it out long ago… It was Rin who gave strength through her Mangekyō. She's the reason my ocular power evolved so fast."
"You think you know everything? Let tell you—Rin already turned your White Zetsu soldiers against you. I knew about Tobirama's resurrection from the very beginning. You're just a pitiful old fool who's been dancing in the dark, completely in the palm of our hands."
Uchiha Obito turned to glance at Uchiha Izuna, then let out a mocking laugh.
"And you, Uchiha Izuna… You think that by mimicking Kazuki's gentle deanor, you'll fool ? Don't be ridiculous. I've seen more than enough of that fake, pretentious act of yours!"
"Kazuki's sincere and burning Will of Fire is sothing a relic from the Warring States era like you could never imitate!"
Obito threw his head back and laughed wildly, ignoring the shockwaves from Madara's full-body Susanoo slicing through the air. Amidst a cloud of smoke and dust, he vented all the frustration from the years of deceit and manipulation he had endured.
So what if Madara had full-body Susanoo and the Rinnegan?
None of that ant anything in front of Kamui!
At the very least… it wouldn't be easy for them to defeat him.
And after Obito's tirade—
Uchiha Madara truly lost it.
His Yin-Yang Release creation, Black Zetsu, had dared to betray him—and even sided with a fool like Obito?
It was an outrageous humiliation!
To be played for a fool by Obito, and in front of so many powerful figures from the shinobi world, Madara felt his dignity completely crushed…
And worst of all—Hashirama was here too!
Just monts ago, in the middle of battle, Madara had still been boasting that he already held complete control over the shinobi world…
