The lab beneath Konoha was silent, save for the low hum of chakra lights embedded in the walls. Haji stood alone in the chamber he had built, smooth stone, reinforced with earth chakra and his own psychic shaping. A table lay before him, sealed with sterilization runes, and at its center, a single sealed containnt pod pulsed with a gentle blue glow.

Inside floated a pale, root-like mass of tissue, his latest prize.

Haji stood still, his tall fra bathed in soft light, halberd leaning against the wall behind him. His expression was calm, focused. But his mind was deep within itself, sifting through mories that were not his, yet now belonged to him.

He had unlocked them all.

Ten thousand years' worth of mories, from the gene-seed embedded in his flesh. mories from a hundred Grey Knights, who had led purging flas into daemon nests, Interceptors who blinked through the Warp to cut off sorcerers before they could speak, Apothecaries who sculpted flesh and remade broken Astartes, and Librarians who tore through reality with thought alone.

He saw their lives play out one after the other.

He felt the weight of their armor. Heard the chants of liturgies in burning cathedrals. Fought alongside them against horrors that defied form.

But the one who lingered most in his mind… was a Librarian.

A warrior-monk clad in silver, who could move through the Warp with sheer will, vanishing and reappearing in rippling cracks of blue light. He had taught Haji, not through words, but mory, how to bend the psychic dinsion to teleport to another place with psychic power.

And from an Apothecary who had once pondered forbidden texts, Haji had seen sothing else, files recovered from Mars, reports on the Primaris Astartes. The Apothecary had read them, analyzed the organs… but dismissed them, calling them impure deviations. A threat to the sacred design of the Emperor's chosen.

Haji didn't care about purity.

Purity didn't matter.

Strength did.

He would not be a relic.

He would beco the future.

And to do that, he needed stronger materials.

The next organ was the Sinew Coils, microscopic coils wrapped through the muscles, laced with reactive fibers that could contract with imnse force, allowing for explosive power. Normally crafted from biochanical components and enhanced with synthetic tendon fibers, none of which existed in this world.

But he had found sothing close.

White Zetsu.

Born from Hashirama's cells, diluted but still alive with potent regenerative properties. Designed to adapt, integrate. And more importantly… replace.

Haji had scanned Konoha first with his psychic senses. It wasn't chakra sensing, it was psychic power. A layer beneath reality, where intentions echoed and thought left imprints. There, just outside the walls, nestled into the bark of a gnarled tree, was sothing watching.

Sothing wrong.

The creature tried to remain hidden, phasing into the tree's trunk like a ghost. But Haji had seen daemons that scread through dinsions. A hiding spot ant nothing.

He walked into the forest alone.

He stopped before the ancient tree. Then raised his arm, fingers curled like a claw, and drove it straight into the bark. His arm pierced through without resistance.

The tree shuddered.

Then sothing scread.

A pale, root-veined body was pulled out in one motion, White Zetsu, its masklike face twisted in surprise. It writhed, but Haji had already reached into its soul with his mind.

No words.

No rcy.

Just erasure.

The creature's soul shattered under the weight of Haji's will. Its body remained, blank, mindless, but alive.

"Perfect," he murmured.

Back in his lab, he began the process.

He extracted the purest cellular samples from the Zetsu's tissue, those closest to the original Hashirama strain. He bathed them in a nutrient solution infused with Yang chakra and psychic resonance. Then began to stimulate their growth, cloning them carefully, layer by layer.

But it wasn't enough.

Organic coils alone would never reach the resilience of those used by the Imperium.

So he forged an alloy.

At a side workbench, Haji lted down chakra tal, rare, resilient, responsive to intent. He purified it, filtered its spiritual resonance with psychic fla, then pulled filants thinner than hair from it using telekinesis.

The result?

A hybrid fiber: Chakra-reactive tendon strands, braided from White Zetsu cells and chakra tal. They glead faintly with silver-blue light, alive with potential energy.

He worked in silence, his movents precise.

Scalpels guided by telekinesis. Tubes woven through with psychic heat. Enzy baths controlled by microscopic chakra pulses.

And all the while… his mind rembered.

He rembered standing shoulder to shoulder with Grey Knights before the gates of a daemon world. He rembered repairing armor while orbital fire scorched the sky. He rembered hearing the last words of brothers who never blinked, even as their flesh lted away from corruption they refused to bow to.

He rembered what it ant to be unbroken.

To be Grey.

But now, sothing more.

Not just Astartes. Not just Apothecary.

When the Sinew Coils finished forming, helixes of gleaming sinew, charged with chakra and forged in psychic purity, Haji stood over them and whispered:

"I am the first."

He lifted one of the completed implants. It pulsed faintly in his hand, like a newborn heart.

"I will beco what they feared to make."

He placed the organ into the integration chamber, already preparing his body for the next implantation.

"I am the first Primaris of the Grey."

The lab lights dimd as he began the process.

And far above him, Konoha carried on.
