"Holy fuck.!" I grin, excited at the prospect of having an ability which will show my physical and ntal stats as numbers in front of my eyes. The Gar System is one of the, if not THE Most sought after power in Fiction, because of its ability to make a person stronger just by doing quests, which helps in raising the stat points.
"I am still Level 1, but it doesn't matter." my excitent is not even dampened by this news, hell. It excites more, due to the fact that raising my Level would naturally increase my stats, while also giving stat points, which I can use to increase my stats even more.
though, the description of myself kinda dampens the mood.
"Skill." After looking at my Status screen for over 5 minutes, I cald down enough to go to the next window, the skills window. A similar window to the Status pops up in front of my
eyes.

'the two crucial skills are still there.' These two skills are the most important skills a Gar Should Have. I click on the skills, and a drop down pops up, still a Blue-ish transparent
window.
GAR'S MIND -PASSIVE- (MAX)
DESCRIPTION:-
Allows the user to calmly and logically think things through. Allows a peaceful state of mind. Immunity to ntal disorder.
GAR'S BODY-PASSIVE- (MAX)
DESCRIPTION:-
Grants a body that allows for the user to live the real world like a ga. Sleeping in a bed restores HP, MP and all mass effects.
I grin, my excitent coming back... While my situation right now is unknown, knowing that I can Think properly without Emotions Clouding my judgnt is a big satisfaction to . After checking out my skills window, I call the next Command. Inventory Tab. The inventory Tab has small boxes which expand to near infinite numbers, and I check. (Left after counting till 30 btw), just next to that, there is a figure... A figure of with small boxes connected to
my body parts.
This one is where I will add my equipnt, if I ever have it I guess. Just below that, there is a
sentence.

It seems that whatever Money I store into the Inventory is automatically counted here it
seems.
I go back to my Status Window (MY Status Window. holy Shit!!!) and check the option there.
Stat Points:- 5
Stat Points are points which are added to my stats to increase it, you will get Stat Points every ti you level up, sotis through Quests too-
"Wait... Quests." I issue the command, imdiately rembering The 3rd most important Window of my System (MY Fucking System Baby!!!). The first important is the skills, (since.. skills are the most important obviously), the second is The status Window, which is used to
increase my stats and stuff.
No Quests Available
The Blue-ish transparent window pops up, notifying of there being no Quests. I am kinda disappointed, but... I shrug, not being able to do anything about that. So I co back to my
Stats Points.
'What should I invest it on?' i hum (in the middle of the fucking Desert, in a world I don't know anything about, btw), trying to figure out where to put the points on.
I click on the STR option, leading to a pop up to occur.
Strength (STR) – asuring physical power and carrying capacity.
'Huh.' it seems that tapping on the Stat options brings the aning out, I click on all other
Stats too.
Vitality (VIT) – asuring endurance, stamina and healthiness. increasing it by one point will increase
HP by 20
Dexterity (DEX) – asuring agility, Speed, balance, coordination and reflexes.
rationality. increasing it by One Point will increase MP by 10
Intelligence (INT) – asuring deductive reasoning, cognition, knowledge, mory, logic and
Wisdom (WIS) – asuring self-awareness, common sense, restraint, perception and insight. Increasing it By one point will reduce the MP usage by 0.01%.
Luck (LUK) – asuring how lucky or fortunate the player is.
I look at the Status Window, seeing a ( ) sign next to all the Stats... Except LUK. aning, Luck Stat cannot be increased, and if I rember correctly, Luck stat will only increase through encounters and how lucky I am in those Encounters.
I start thinking.
My increasing strength will an... My attacks will hit harder. That is a must. And Vitality is
also a Must, since If I get a hit I cannot handle, I will.... Die.
'death.. huh?' I start thinking about what The Person who sent here said. I died, and got
sent here... Yeah.
"I ain't dying again. Nope." I imdiately put all my points Into VIT... And I get a
notification imdiately.
Since VIT has reached above 10, you have Unlocked HP Regen.
Imdiately after that, more Notifications pop up.
HP Regen is similar to The Stat Of VIT, as The VIT stat is 14, The Regen is 1.4% per Minute of
the Total HP. 'Hmm?' HP Regen stay is similar to the stat of VIT huh! aning, if I get my VIT To at least a 1000, then 100% of my HP will regenerated instantly? That's... Aweso. difficult, but
aweso.
I grin, glad that my safety is secured. I look at my Stat Points being Zero, so I click the (X) in
the Corner of the Window, letting the Status Window disappear from my eyes. I look around to figure out where I am.
'Is there a Map Function?' I start rembering More about How this Ability Works.
"nu" I speak aloud, making another Window pop up, this ti with different words.

'Perks?' I decide to check this right after Settings, so i click that.. a window pops up that-

I See a (?) on the right of these options, so I click on them.
HUD DISPLAY: – allows the Player to see their HP, MP and MAP (if Activated) all the ti at the corner
of their Eye.
MAP FUNCTION: – Allows the Player access to A Map that can detect Enemies or others through The intent of these Others.
AUTO-LOOTING:– allows the Player to loot without taking ti to Physically Pick up the Items.
FORCEFULL ACTIVATION:- allows the Player to forcefully activate Skills that are Considered -
PASSIVE- as it's Nature.
"Holy Shit!" Not only Map, but also HUD Display, Auto-looting AND Forcefully activating a
PASSIVE skill? That's Busted. Hell, this System itself is busted.
'If I forcefully activate Gars Mind During Conversations or sothing, then I could....
Think before I speak.. so to say.' this is really good.. no accidently revealing stuff from my
part... I click ON on everything that interests ... When I close the Window, my Vision.... Changes.
In my right eye, there is a Small Bar which is Labeled HP, while my Left eye has A bar labeled
MP, with A small box labeled M on the sa eye... I... Think of clicking on that Box, which automatically Makes it expand..
'damn.' The Map is shown in front of my space... And I see.... Nothing. Except a dot, which... I instinctively know it's ... With nothing showing anywhere as much I zoom in and out. 'so, I need to explore to increase the Maps Pixel or sothing...' I am a little disappointed...
But knowing I cannot do anything about it, i... Think of closing the Map, and it minimizes
itself into that Small Box in my Left eye. So, Map can be opened by my thoughts... cool.
"Perks" i voice out my command, rather than clicking on it, since i now have voice
activation... both by speaking it outloud and through thinking.
PERKS:- 0
PERKS:- these are enhancers that enhance the Player without being a skill or a stat.
'so, Perks are kinda like power ups that enhance , like Ki Control does for Goku, while not
an ability (like Kaio-ken) nor Hax ( Siayan Biology), his Ki Control is one of the reasons he is so strong.' I nod, satisfied by my conclusion... I think of closing the Window, and it does. I start looking everywhere near .. and find nothing but sand- oh.. there is a...small bedrock.
I sigh, finding nothing near .. or even where my eyes can reach... I am in a desert, with
nothing to look forward for-
A Quest Has Been Created.
There is a button present in the Window which just popped up. I clicked it a little excitedly,
since this is my first Quest after all. two windows pop up imdiately afterwards.

better understand the Situation He is in.

'Observe?' I rember that... The Skill which allows one to observe sothing/soone and get their Information... The higher the level, the more information it reveals. but- 'isn't it a skill that Han Jihan (the MC of The Gar) gets when he Continuously Observes sothing? why is it as a reward?' I am confused as to why a skill such as Observe is given as a reward... what if-
the person who gave this power was the one who sent here, not Gaia as the MC of The Gar, what if he made changes into how the fundantals work with this power? like.... what if i could not increase my stats through training myself up, or what if i could only acquire skills through Quest rewards... that would an that, for high level skills, i need to do dangerous missions... Shit shit shit-
GAR'S MIND HAS BEEN ACTIVATED
A calm feeling goes through my head, making calm down from my panic. I read the
Window which popped up right now, and I sigh.
'no use freaking out.' I just need to confirm if my theories are true or not.. and god I hope it is
not true.
After a bit of thinking, I started walking to the north (straight), intending to complete the
quest and get the skill. but that doesnt an i don't find another way to get the skill. I start intently staring at all the... sand around ...
I noticed sothing in my pocket, hanging.. i take it out and- "My Phone?" I am surprised... my fucking phone is here. I rember that I put my phone on

I focus on the map as well, to make sure no Enemies jump , but 60% of my focus is on....
staring things. especially since I only have sand to stare at. eventually, after 10 mins of walking with nothing but sand. i find-
"a....bedrock?" I sigh, annoyed at this situation... but i just stare at their bedrock, trying to emulate Jihan (MC of the Gar btw), trying to continuously observe-
THROUGH CONTINOUS OBSERVATION, SKILL HAVE BEEN CREATED. "Fuck Yeah.!" thank goodness my theory was wrong... its really good when you are wrong
about sothing, the feeling of expecting sothing but not wanting it to happen and... your expectations co true, its a fucking good feeling i tell ya. I calm myself down before I start
thinking about various possibilities of my ability and check the description of the new skill I just found.

Bedrock is the solid rock underlying unconsolidated surface materials. "That's enough for ." I grin, excited at the prospect of spamming and observing everything I co across... I rechecked the skill, and saw the EXP ter go up, from 0% to
0.01%, aning that I have a job to do.and that's what i do, while continuing walking, i spam
observe on... sand i see.

WHEN COMPARED TO NORMAL WALKING, THIS SKILL WILL ALLOW THE PLAYER TO WALK
ON SAND MUCH MORE FREELY AND HAVE LESS STRESS IN THE MUSCLES.
"that's useful" while the skill might not be useful in other scenarios, for this current one, it is perfect... and what's wrong with collecting random skills that might not be usable for most of your life, huh? I shrug.. and continue walking, imdiately noticing that walking on sand is a
lot easier than before...
and with this, i started continuously walking for more than 20 minutes, which caused my Observe skill to Level up by 1 and my Sand Walking Skill to level up by 5, reaching Lv6. "Huh?" i notice sothing that caught my eye.... as i walk closer and squint my eyes, i see... a

points for later, since in Gas like RPGs, stat points can be used when shit is in danger.but...i
focus on the most important part.
the Building that I am closing on.
I started jogging towards the building, and with my Sand walking skill, my jogging was much
more smooth in the sand. i reach near the building eventually when- "huh?" I stopped in my tracks, since my map just picked sothing... a small....gray dot, in the corner of the map. If I rember correctly, the red dot is for enemies... Green dot is for whom i consider Allies, and the Grey dot... is for the variables. people who have nothing
against , but might if things go south.
i put my guard up, and walk around the building..... and a city shows itself in front of ...
but-
I see sand... everywhere... sand covering buildings.... an entire city covered in sand, and according to my Map, empty with only one person in it. i walk towards the Grey dot... it takes
around 2 minutes, but i see-
an old man who has an elderly looking face, and a thick fuzzy mustache. The Man wears a
white wrap around his head, and another gray wrap around his forehead. He wears black robes that are torn in so places, and a green robe underneath with a dark red lining. Under that, he wears a vertically striped black and white shirt. He also has a turquoise sash, with blue

'so.... he is severely starved...' I feel bad for the old man. He might be in his 60s, but he looks
like he is reaching 90 with his condition. I decided to approach him after seeing his stats.
"Hello Mister." I speak up, causing the old man, Toto to turn around... and greet .. with a kind smile.
"××××××××-ng Traveller, you must be tired after a long journey. while this place is not as good as in the past, i hope it is comfortable for you to take a rest in." my Auto-Translating activates, which i activated in the Settings... and the words he spoke before it got translated....
it was similar to Japanese... and i know that because i learned Japanese, mostly from watching
Ani.... but still.
'so, it is sowhere where they speak Japanese huh?' Am I sowhere in an alternate world
of Samurais or sothing?...

off, i just.. can't watch an old man doing such strenuous work.. plus, it would give an opportunity to talk to him and gain information about my situation. since, being blind and unaware of my current situation is being dumb.

edge of the Shovel to the sand, trying to pick up as much as possible and then- "hmph."' I pull with all my might, yanking a limited amount of sand.. and then throw it to the side. This is gonna be hard. I dig again, and yank it again, this ti using my full power.. yet
again. I will say, digging is difficult if you're not experienced enough. "All good there, young traveler. you might need Help?" Toto jokes, while also digging. I
grunt while
throwing the sand from my shovel.
"no need sir, i will figure this out eventually." and what i an by that? getting a skill of
course... A Skill for digging.
"Anyways, what happened to the city?" I started the conversation, a conversation in which I intend to suck off as much information as possible.
"well....Yuba was a bustling City, a resting place for many travelers such as yourself.... but, Sandstorms hitting the city and Water drying up, the City went from its Glorious days... to this." the old man stops digging while recounting his story. i still continue digging while
listening to him, and as i expected-

"I was supposed to go to the....Capital, but I got lost in the desert, since everywhere you look,
there is sand. and Now I am here. "From what I was able to pick up on his words, this city is
connected to various other cities, since this city was a resting place for travelers, aning..
there might be a capital too.
