Commander Edson turned toward his general, the most talk-active one. Not just him, but the remaining six generals also turned toward the sa person. They did not think that much earlier, but when Atilla pointed it out, it beca obvious to them.
"It doesn't make sense for you to be hostile to us, to him after his contribution from the last battle. Added the fact that he killed the Battle King as well, the monster who had been haunting this place for a long ti. You are suspiciously hostile." Atilla added.
"What!? There's no way you believe her, right?" The talk-active general faltered under the gaze of Commander Edson.
Commander Edson let out a sigh. He wanted to trust his subordinates, but he could no longer fully trust them after one of his generals got bribed.
"Let's postpone the eting, Administrator Atilla. We will postpone the alliance army as well as I think there's sothing more urgent than that. Can you leave us for now? We will inform you again for the next eting."
Atilla nodded and left the eting room with her four team mbers.
The gripping atmosphere filled the room. The talk-active general whose na was Reim, was getting nervous as he forgot to drink a regeneration potion to help with his missing hand. No one tried to hold Atilla accountable for severing his arm, and he also did not dare to bring that up, knowing the administrator was not a pushover as he thought.
Commander Edson broke the silence. "I trust you… I really want to trust you guys, but…" He let out another sigh as he could not finish his words. "We will postpone the alliance army, and I will talk to them later. Also don't forget to make an announcent that no soldiers from the Hurakan Legion are allowed to leave the frontier, not until The Imperial Investigator finishes their investigation on the Hurakan Legion!"
"I…" Reim wanted to say sothing, but Edson stopped him, shaking his head. "If you have anything to say, then save it for the Imperial Investigator."

"Did that guy really cut an emperor's hand, Captain?" As soon as they were out of the building, Falko, the sa man who picked Tang Shaoyang when the Executive Administrator summoned Tang Shaoyang, asked in surprise.
"Yes! Clentine confird it was the hand of the emperor, the person he t during the Special Mission in Sulan when they discovered the portable void gate." Atilla nodded.
"Why don't you tell us? Or even Michael? If we know that, we will not treat them like this." A woman from Team Kalisto complained. She and the others in Team Kalisto except for Atilla, had been cold with the Team Reds. They disregarded them even when Team Chalice caused them trouble. Now she knew that their captain at least deserved respect for taking one hand from the emperor.
Atilla rolled her eyes. "Didn't you hear earlier? It's confidential information, and I am not supposed to tell you any of this. Stop your nonsense and ask the Hurakan Legion the list for the alliance army. While they are busy with their things, we can choose which alliances and factions that we can work together with."

After Tang Shaoyang, Anne, Khaya, and Ira returned from the eting, they were sward by the others. They were curious about what the eting was about.
"Can you not make trouble with them? At least not when we just started here. You know you can just decline the position politely." Ira tried to speak with Tang Shaoyang about the eting. Despite her remark, she completely agreed with Tang Shaoyang's decision. She wanted Tang Shaoyang to handle it differently, more carefully.
"No." Tang Shaoyang replied with one word, not even trying to elaborate on why he did it.
"We can't, Ira. A strong refusal would remind them that we are not pushovers who will follow whatever they tell us to. They have crossed the line by not including us in the eting about the alliance army, and we need to make them know that we will not obey whatever they throw at us. And they have the nerve to make us a puppet commander at that."
Khaya sounded upset when she expressed her thoughts. As if deciding on their own that they would be a commander for the alliance was not enough. The Hurakan Legion told them to be a puppet commander even though they could do it on their own. It was clear that the Hurakan Legion looked down on them just because they were not Executive Administrators. That was what she felt during the eting, the Hurakan Legion did not take them seriously.
"What if they send us back earlier?" Ira was afraid that the Hurakan Legion would send them back. That would cancel the mission, and there would be no promotion for them.
"I would rather go back than risk my people's lives to the people who are supposed to be our allies. And we have achieved the second goal. Considering how long we have been here, it's a good reward."
Tang Shaoyang was still standing next to the door. "Find more information about this alliance army and which alliances and factions take part in this. We need to identify our potential enemy and be prepared for what will co later."
They tried to get so information about the Alliance army for a few days, but Atilla ca to them with the list when she knew they were looking for the list. She was the only one who had been helpful to The Reds, and Tang Shaoyang beca overly suspicious of her.
"Why do you give us the list? Do you want sothing from us?" He asked.
"You are being overly suspicious, and no, I don't want anything aside from the cooperation. I want us to help each other when we are in need. Especially on the battlefield. If we are ever in trouble, I would like a helping hand from you." Atilla had a bitter smile. She tried to get close to Tang Shaoyang, and it beca harder and harder. In fact, Tang Shaoyang beca harder to approach compared to their first eting.
She knew the reason why, and she believed it was because of Team Chalice. Michael joined the mission because of her invitation, and then he caused trouble to Tang Shaoyang which indirectly ant she could be the mastermind behind Michael, unless she was not.
Tang Shaoyang nodded his head, but he did not really buy it. However, he did not mind helping them if they were ever in trouble. As long as he could help them within his capability, and he would not go beyond just to help them, not until he could trust them.
"Have you t the Imperial Investigator? They called this morning for an interview. If they haven't called you, they might later." Atilla told Tang Shaoyang about the summon from the Imperial Investigator.
No one did not know about the Imperial Investigator. It happened three days ago when the Hurakan Legion announced that there would be an investigation into the Hurakan Legion. No one was allowed to leave during the investigation, including the rcenary. Even though most of the rcenaries already left the frontier.
The Imperial Investigator ca to audit the Hurakan Legion for corruption before they called for the alliance army. Even though the Hurakan Legion announced it was a precaution before receiving the reinforcent from the foreign force. Tang Shaoyang had a feeling that it might be related to their eting before.
Tang Shaoyang shook his head. "I haven't received the summon, maybe later. What about Executive Administrator Clentine, does she have ti to talk now?"
After knowing that Atilla was close to Clentine, the Executive Administrator who issued the special mission was also the one who decided the reward for the mission. He asked for a eting with Clentine, he wanted to negotiate the reward.
Tang Shaoyang wanted more than just three promotions for Junior Administrators and five for Admin Helpers. He wanted to set up a new goal, and he did not mind having five million or even ten million kills for the next goal as long as Clentine gave him more reward. There was also the Battle King, and he wanted sothing from killing it.
"Lady Clentine has a ti tonight, and she will directly call you. Spare so ti to answer her call later tonight." Atilla delivered the good news. Even though she was curious about what Tang Shaoyang wanted to talk about, she refrained from asking.
Their eting ended after they had nothing to talk about. Atilla returned to her lodging, and she handed the list to Ira. "Check the list and mark the alliance or the factions with a connection with the Nirvana Alliance, The God Order, Vigamaur Dgaror, The Sorc Clan, and the Ancient Kingdom!"
Ira furrowed her brow when she heard the list. Especially for the last faction, the Ancient Kingdom. That na was the faction that existed longer than the Hurakan Kingdom itself.
"I hope the Ancient Kingdom is not on the list…" She muttered in a low voice.
