Chapter 98: Survival Belief, Chicken Soup for the Soul

“I just caught a lobster. Can you help cook it?”

Bell said to the two of them.

Annie Hathaway and Scarlett nodded.

They had already thought of giving up.

It was a waste of energy to stay in the water. They were unable to get any food.

Now that Bell had asked them to cook the food, they could use this to stop idling around.

“Don’t worry, leave this lobster to us. You can co to eat in a while.”

Scarlett seed to be confident in her cooking.

“Alright, I’ll go and see if I can capture anything else.”

Bell entered the sea again.

After half an hour, Bell caught another fish and a dozen oysters.

As for Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley, they did not gain anything.

Scarlett and Annie Hathaway had already finished cooking the lobster that Bell had captured. They were just waiting for everyone to co ashore and enjoy it together.

But Keira and Natalie were not willing to give up.

Seeing Bell gain food ti and ti again while they failed to capture anything on their side, they felt a little embarrassed.

They looked like a burden.

In particular, Keira Knightley, who had a slightly stronger personality, looked even more unwilling to admit defeat. She was still determined to dive into the water to catch food for herself.

As for Natalie Portman, she seed to have accepted her fate and swam ashore.

Seeing Keira Knightley like this, Bell could only shake his head helplessly.

He thought that she might give up once she was tired.

In fact, this thod was not recomnded in the wild.

Because you had to maintain enough stamina in the wild, you should conserve as much energy as possible.

However, Keira Knightley was not a professional survivalist, and Bell did not have much hope in her. Since her enthusiasm for fishing was still high, at least it ant that she still had a very strong desire to get food for herself. Such a positive and optimistic ntality might not be a bad thing in the team, so he might as well let her do as she pleased.

After leaving a portion of food for Keira, Bell sat in front of the fire with Scarlett and the others.

Looking at the red lobster and the oysters, Bell smiled in satisfaction.

“That’s right. You won’t have a chance to eat this seafood set al everyday in the city.”

“I rember telling everyone before that you have to adjust your mood in the wild. Your ntal state is very important to ensure your survival.”

“I heard about an incident in the Pacific Ocean.”

“The incident happened a few years ago when a family of five drove their yacht to the Pacific for a vacation. In the end, the yacht hit a reef and sank into the ocean.”

“The father and mother of that family died on the spot, leaving their three children. The oldest was only about 15 or 16 years old.”

“The three children used the remains of the yacht to float in the sea for a day and night before finally landing on a deserted island.”

“Everyone knows that such children usually don’t have any survival skills, but a miracle happened. The three children actually survived for 25 days on such a desolate island until rescue arrived.”

“Think about it, what kind of concept is 25 days? Many amateur Wilderness Survival contestants, for example, those contestants who were eliminated at the beginning of the show. Even if they are adults, it is usually very difficult for them to survive so long. There are even so survivalists who will feel depressed and eventually fall into madness because of the long period of loneliness!”

“However, in the story I told just now, the rescue team learned that in these 25 days, three children who had drifted to the uninhabited island encouraged each other. They really passed the 25 days by only eating so coconuts.”

“Compared to other things, I think it’s actually the unwavering belief that allowed them to successfully survive.”

“From this, we can know how important the belief of a survivalist is.”

While Bell was explaining to the audience, Scarlett and the others were also listening and nodding seriously.

Scarlett felt it the most.

Back in the snowy mountain, she had really walked around in the hands of the Grim Reaper.

If not for Bell, she might have been buried in the snow mountain lake forever.

In that environnt, it was because of Bell’s persuasion and guidance that she survived.

Recalling the scene from before, Scarlett couldn’t help but blush.

After all, she had been naked with Bell in the snow cave.

Although it was for the sake of survival, she still felt a little ashad. When people were at their most helpless monts, if soone helped them, they would often open their hearts to that person.

There was a term for this phenonon called the suspension bridge effect.

It seed to be because of the suspension bridge effect during the Alps survival round that Scarlett Johansson began to have so feelings for Bell that would have been unlikely to happen during normal tis.

Even though Scarlett kept reminding herself that Bell was still young and could not do such a thing to him, she could not help but think about this.

When she was with Bell, Scarlett did not seem to feel the difference in their ages at all. Instead, she was like a child, always taken care of by Bell.

Scarlett was lost in thought.

Natalie Portman and Annie Hathaway looked at Scarlett and smiled secretly. Bell, on the other hand, was unaware.

He continued to explain the importance of the ntality to the audience.

“I know that when you are alone on an uninhabited island, it will be very difficult to ensure an optimistic ntality. After all, apart from despair, there is also a strong sense of loneliness in this sea, but you can treat this as a form of training given by fate.”

“If you can successfully survive in such a difficult environnt, I believe that you can face whatever difficulty you encounter when you return to the city. At least you will have a strong heart.”

Many people in front of the screen could empathize with Bell’s words.

The pressure in life was not small, but compared to Wilderness Survival, their pressure seed insignificant.

After all, although there was a lot of pressure in real civilization, few people faced death head-on.

Imdiately, many people wanted to adventure in the wild. They wanted to see if they could succeed and challenge their limits.

These people liked Bell’s soothing words that resonated with them.

“I think Bell makes sense!”

“I didn’t expect to be fed chicken soup for the soul by an eight-year-old.”

“But it’s true. Bell is really living a great life.”

“I really want to learn from the host and travel once.”

“Previous poster, I think you just want to eat lobsters.”

“Hahaha, the truth is out!”

“Host, you should eat the lobster first and evaluate the taste.”

The atmosphere in the live-stream beca active.

However, at this mont, Keira Knightley was still not ashore.
