For a mont, there was only stunned silence as Sylvia stared at the magic circle in awe. Michael couldn’t bla her for such a reaction, after all, how often would one see sothing that was ant to be lost for over two-thousand years?

However, what he did not expect was what happened next.

The woman surged to her feet, her expression turning deadly serious.

Michael felt the hairs on his neck stand up as a sudden feeling of danger assaulted his senses. When he looked upon Sylvia in front of him, she seed more like a magical beast than the calm woman he’d been speaking to just a mont ago.

"M-miss Sylvia?" He stamred, trying to stop the trembling in his voice.

Her hazel eyes shined with a violet light briefly as she stared in his direction, yet it seed like she wasn’t looking at him directly. It was bizarre.

What the hell? Is she going to attack or sothing? He panicked.

Part of him wanted to leave swiftly, not turning back—yet even he was able to see the chasm between them. It would take a re wave of her hand to capture him, or turn him to dust.

The only thing he could do right know was hope that she had no ill intention.

Sylvia’s lips moved, her words unintelligible from his position. Mana swelled from her body before she clapped her hands together. Then, as she slowly pulled them apart, a violet magic circle revealed itself.

Now it was Michael’s turn to gape in shock at the display. He was certain that she had not been chanting an incantation before, so how had a magic circle appeared from just a simple action?

Judging from the power coming from the floating circle, it was clear that it was a powerful spell.

"Miss Sylvia what is the aning of this?" Michael asked, more forceful this ti.

Yet instead of answering, she extended her left hand towards him and flicked her wrist. His body lifted off the ground and flew towards her, causing him to almost let out a cry of surprise.

"What are you—"

His body collided with sothing soft, preventing the words from following.

Michael’s head spun as he felt his body turn weightless. All sensations were lost apart from whatever was against his body.

As the sensation disipated and he began to regain his senses, Michael realized that he had experienced sothing similar before. It was spatial magic.

His eyes flashed open, but all he could see was black. He felt rather suffocated, as if the space around him was closing in.

Did we get lost in the fabric of space? He thought grimly, his mind running wild.

But before he could voice his concerns, he felt a tug upon his robe, lifting him in the air. As this happened, he saw Sylvia’s figure in front of him—her earlier serious expression seeming much more relaxed.

However, his confusion turned to embarrassnt as he suddenly realized what had happened. Michael’s eyes imperceptibly moved to the abundant twin peaks held back by her black dress, understanding that this was likely the soft thing he’d been pressed against.

What the hell!? This has got to be so sort of sexual assault right? Michael cried in his heart from embarrassnt. Though inwardly he knew that he was not all that unhappy about such an experience.

She’s quite abundant, unlike...

A picture of lody suddenly popped into his head, causing his features to dull.

Michael quickly cleared his throat, feeling as if he was being rather rude. "Miss Silvia, where have you taken ?" he asked, only now looking at the unfamiliar room where they had ended up.

The place wasn’t unlike the headmaster’s office. It was filled with books and a fire crackled nearby, its orange glow sending out warm light across the room.

It reminded him of the study in the Winterborne manor.

"I apologize for my forwardness Michael..." Sylvia said, her expression sincere. "But under the circumstances, I could not let you remain in the academy—not right now."

"Sorry?" Michael balked, unsure if he heard her correctly.

However, instead of answering him, she turned her head towards the door on the opposite end of the room, as if expecting soone to arrive.

Sure enough, the handle turned and the door opened swiftly, revealing a slightly short and bearded figure, visible even with the dim light of the fireplace.

"Syliva, why are you here? You’re ant to be at the academy—"

The man froze, turning to him with confusion. "Michael?"

"Headmaster?"

The two looked at each other with similar dumbfounded expressions, painting an amusing sight. Were it not for the circumstances, perhaps he might have even laughed at the absurdity of the situation.

"Bart, sit." Sylvia ordered, pointing to a nearby chair.

Still looking rather dazed, the headmaster did as he was told, his eyes silently evaluating Michael. But instead of speaking, he patiently waited for the woman to begin her explanation of their sudden arrival.

"What are you doing? You sit too." Sylvia turned to him, gesturing for another nearby chair with a strict tone.

Michael blinked incredulously for a mont, unsure of why he was being ordered around. His eyes moved to the headmaster who was now silently gesturing for him to listen to her words.

Was he imagining things, or was the headmaster afraid of his sister?

Nonetheless, Michael decided to listen, taking a seat on one of the arm chairs near the fire. He had originally planned to tell the headmaster about his soul trait, so the fact that Sylvia had brought him here was in his favor.

The only thing he was unsure of was why did she need to bring him? Couldn’t she just have teleported here herself and told him the news?

What did she an she couldn’t let remain in the academy right now? Is sothing happening that I’m not aware of? He thought silently.

However, now was not the ti to ask as Sylvia was busy explaining their discussion to the headmaster. All should be revealed in ti.
