Showcasing the most dazzling strike of his life, Wang Qi finally felt he got the basics.

He no longer had to follow White Marsh True Array Divider and Thunder Resonance Blade Art’s strict movents to swing his blade. His epiphany in chanics enhanced his every attack to contain the magical arts.

This was just the start.

After his last swing, Wang Qi relaxed his limbs, letting gravitation pull him towards the lake. He felt its effect on his body, but his mind was busy calculating another algorithm he had just learned.

Classical chanics reflects the macrocosm state at low speeds. They were the basics, playing a role even in the M-theory. Wang Qi had no intention of going down the path of classical chanics research. In his opinion, classical chanics was a narrow field.

“Good thing yours truly has a study plan, or I’d have never made use of this chance.”

Wang Qi smirked as he began another series of swings.

White Marsh True Array Divider!

With the Myriad Arts Sect’s blade art driving his blade, Wang Qi’s weapon shone a bright silver. Wild blade energies stord out.

A total of nine slashes were released, crisscrossing in the air.

Wang Qi felt warmth in his belly like his blood was boiling as it flowed in his veins. More and more insights flooded his mind.

“Ha!” Wang Qi went berserk, slashing all over the place like mad. Each of his strikes brought with it Transcendent’s insights and blended them with his martial arts.

In his head, the math principles of White Marsh True Array Divider rebuilt Transcendent’s path in reverse.

White Marsh True Array Divider was deduced from White Marsh Expansion, also known as Laplace Expansion on Earth, the most obvious choice for solving determinants.

Later generations called it determinants matrices.

When physicists rebuilt chanics on this principle, quantum physics gained ground.

On Nine Provinces, matrix chanics were the foundation of Daoist Proscribe achieving his path.

The deeper his insight, the faster Wang Qi beca and the more abstruse he struck, until all his increasing audience could see was him being wrapped in a ball of silver light.

“Ha!”

Wang Qi howled as the blade’s tip grazed the water, borrowing its power to jump. He leaped up the cliff with great speed and jumped into the air at the end of his montum.

He kept slashing thirteen tis, the blade waves weaving into an array.

The thin blade energy ran through the array and amplified before flowing back into Wang Qi’s blade. He laughed as he felt literal power at his fingertips, lifting the blade with two hands in an overhead swing.

[The insight’s running out, so let’s finish off with a pretentious Moses’ sea-splitter!]

With a blade energy strong enough to startle a late Qi Refining cultivator, Wang Qi slashed as he was free-falling.

It correlated with the last vestige of insight seeping into his mind. A famous theory flashed in his head, one inferred from matrix arithtics.

Vector multiplication…

The perfected and complete blade wave shifted.

Vector multiplication montum didn’t equal…

Wang Qi felt his blade energy experiencing a new change. He felt sothing separating from him and taking hold of his blade.

Daoist Proscribe’s works ca to mind. Wang Qi was deep in thought as he guided the change in his blade.

Position tis montum does not equal montum tis position!

Wang Qi lost all control and the blade energy gathered on the edge fell apart. The youth felt his fingers burning, the blade wrestled out of his hand from the backlash. It whirled through the air and planted itself into the stone cliff.

Caught off-guard, Wang Qi suffered the full brunt of the backlash and it scattered his spiritual power. Without it, he couldn’t leverage the water surface’s power to bounce off it and instead hit it hard.

Wang Qi tasted sweet as gravity pushed him deeper into the water. Drowning woke him up on the spot. Struggling, he flicked his feet to break the surface with his head.

He gasped for air and used his ager spiritual power reserves to drive out the water in his lungs. Looking at the water, he noticed red among the ever-present blue. It made him aware of the scorching pain between his stomach and belly not attributing to drowning alone.

Coughing water twice, Wang Qi swam for his blade, it was his only magic item after all. What was he going to use to fight in the martial examination with, a stick?

Wang Qi swam to the cliff, scrounging up a trace of spiritual power to jump next to his blade. It proved to be too little, falling back into the river water.

“What’s wrong?” Zhen Chanzi sounded odd. “You were getting better and better, so why did the last hit fall through?”

A certain bookworm flared his nose and grumbled, “The last strike got out of control.”

Using ‘matrix chanics is compatible with classical chanics’ as a premise, he strove to create a move based on matrix chanics by combining matrix arithtics, classical chanics martial arts, and his understanding of matrix chanics. He did it backward from the process by which scientists constructed matrix chanics to use and derive classical chanics.

As to what Qi Refining cultivator could pull sothing like that off, only a certain bookworm who had lived two lives.

[In hindsight, I got ahead of myself.] Matrix chanics was a powerful enough theory that developed the Grand Heavenly Chart, Elusory Movent, and Ethereal Cloud Sword. [It won’t integrate into my cultivation just ’cause I want it to.]

Nevertheless, the two bites of the apple plus the blade dance shaved off a year of hard work. Moreover, it helped to find a way to apply Daoist Proscribe’s works.

“Thunder Resonance Blade Art’s counterpart is Fourier Expansion, improving the effects of wave cultivation thods. It can boost my understanding of Waveform Essence through Schr??dinger wave functions.” Wang Qi was smug by that conclusion. “Using the two bites of apple, I’ve now figured out how to use matrix chanics.”

“In ti, I’ll even train Old Hai’s arts!”
