"As expected, it really is Stockholm syndro."

Stockholm syndro, also known as hostage-identification syndro, is a psychological condition. It is characterized by victims developing an emotional bond with their captors and forming a harmonious relationship when faced with extre threats.

Chen Pingchuan’s scalp tingled with dread. He wasn’t sure if his divine self could perceive his mories, or if this had happened unintentionally. If it was the forr, the implications were terrifying. If it was the latter, it was still not a damn bit better.

Chen Pingchuan poured himself another cup of violet tea, but this ti, he tasted only bitterness.

[On the tenth day, Ji Hongxiu awoke from her slumber, greeted by the sight of you caressing her delicate body. She felt no discomfort or sha. Instead, she raised her head and gave you a broad smile.]

[Just like the day before, you spent a quiet and peaceful day together. Ji Hongxiu acted unusually, revealing a girlish side to you. Her eyes sparkled with a peculiar light, and her slightly flushed cheeks resembled blooming peach blossoms, vibrant and tantalizing.]

[You knew you had succeeded. Humans, foolish creatures, are so fragile. Clothing is like their armor; with it, they dare to face their enemies head-on. But when this armor is shed, they revert to shy little lambs.]

[They dare not face those they are intimate with, nor their enemies. It is as if the re presence of light is enough to make them feel shy and stripped of all dignity.]

[While you mocked the weakness of mortals, you also reveled in the perverse pleasure of taming them by exploiting those very weaknesses. This was all rely a diversion from your boredom. Of course, Ji Hongxiu was different. You still had other uses for her.]

[Ji Hongxiu, naturally, had no idea what you were thinking. At this point, she was deeply entangled in the web you had ticulously woven. Her initial state of high alert and terror had gradually transford into acceptance and surrender. To her, even the act of submitting to you was no longer a source of sha.]

[On the fourteenth day, you turned on all the lights in the interrogation room, bringing light to Ji Hongxiu. Not only that, but to her astonishnt, you let down your guard, unlocked her shackles, and granted her freedom.]

[Your actions moved Ji Hongxiu. Her only point of dissatisfaction was that you still wouldn’t allow her to wear clothes. Her gaze carried a hint of resentnt, but she still complied with your command.]

[As a reward, you brought her clean water to wash the filth from her body, as the sll had beco unpleasant. Your explanation for this was that it was the purification of body and soul required for a Divine Attendant before joining the Holy Spirit Sect.]

[Ji Hongxiu believed your words without question. With a devout expression, she ticulously cleaned every inch of her skin. That night, you once again held her as you slept, only this ti, you rested your head upon her fair, smooth thighs.]

[Over the next month, you moved the necessary equipnt and materials for your experints into the interrogation room, and her restrictions were completely lifted. You only verbally ordered her not to leave the interrogation room and did not even lock the door.]

[With ample materials, a quiet environnt, and an assistant as beautiful as a feast for the eyes, your alchemy skills improved by leaps and bounds.]

[You concocted many potions with strange and curious effects. In Ji Hongxiu’s eyes, you were a genius—no, it was more accurate to call you a Celestial God. You could modify alchemical formulas at will, and most importantly, you always succeeded.]

[Everything she witnessed further convinced Ji Hongxiu that you were no re mortal.]

[Three months later, Ji Hongxiu was dressed in a dazzling red brocade robe, its hem swaying gently in the breeze like roaring flas. Her almond eyes were lively and full of spirit, exuding a captivating charm that could srize nations.]

[Such a peerless and devastatingly beautiful woman now stood gingerly behind you. She had shed her forr edge, revealing only an attitude of complete subservience.]

[On the other side, Major General Hu heard the news of your ergence from seclusion and hurried to you with Black Demon No. 1. The mont he saw Ji Hongxiu, he was struck by what looked like overwhelming fear. He imdiately assud a defensive stance, and even his words began to tremble.]

[With a trembling voice, Major General Hu advised you to stay away from Ji Hongxiu. He explained that she was no longer the sa seventh-level Elder Ye Hu; she’d had a breakthrough.]

[You paid no mind to Major General Hu’s terror, let alone his advice. You simply asked with so curiosity how he had noticed sothing was off about Ji Hongxiu.]

[Major General Hu told you that when a Beast Tar advanced to the Divine Transformation Realm, they could naturally suppress lower-level Beast Tars without even lifting a finger. He didn’t know the reason why, but his intuition scread at him to get away from the woman before him.]

[Feeling the weight of Major General Hu’s words, you realized you might have underestimated the Eighth-Level Divine Transformation Realm. Its power was likely far greater than you had anticipated.]

[Seeing that Major General Hu dared not lower his guard, you offered a faint smile. You inford him that Ji Hongxiu had joined the Holy Spirit Sect. Not only that, but she had entered directly into the ranks of the Divine Attendants and was temporarily serving as the Divine Attendant Chief.]

[You put on a false smile and said, "From now on, you’re all family."]

"No, no, no..." Chen Pingchuan muttered, shaking his head. If that Elder Ye Hu has really advanced to beco a master of the Eighth-Level Divine Transformation Realm, then she shouldn’t have submitted so easily to the divine self, her abuser. There must be other factors I’m not aware of.

Whenever Chen Pingchuan was stumped, his first instinct was to flip back through the diary. And sure enough, he found a clue.

A white, growable talent: Friend of Won.

Your image in the eyes of won has a built-in beauty filter, making it easier to gain their favor and goodwill. Communication with female characters becos deeper and smoother.

Never underestimate the word ’goodwill.’ Sotis, a woman’s entire decision-making process can be swayed by just a little bit of it.

"In the end, it all cos down to my damn good looks," Chen Pingchuan sighed. "If I were really ugly, forget submission, she probably would have fought to the bitter end from the very beginning."

Chen Pingchuan ultimately attributed his divine self’s success to his own good looks.

Of course, that was only part of the reason.

Feeling a little more cheerful, Chen Pingchuan continued the simulation.

[Major General Hu expressed surprise at your claims. He tentatively asked if you had used the divine object known as the Parasitic Seed. Your expression soured, because after Ji Hongxiu’s successful advancent, you had indeed tried to implant the purple Parasitic Seed into her body, but the attempt had failed.]

[The purple Parasitic Seed could not be implanted into an Eighth-Level Divine Transformation Realm Beast Tar. You began to fear that your plan had a major flaw.]
