Yang Jian's cha suddenly underwent a second transformation. Compared to its previous sleek design, this new form was utterly nacing.

"Heaven and Earth Dharma!"

The smooth lines twisted and sharpened, like a ferocious beast crawling from a dark abyss. The cha's overall color deepened, resembling thick ink.

Several spikes erupted from its shoulders and joints. They were like sharp blades, shimring with a cold light, and each one exuded a chilling, murderous intent. A faint black mist clung to their surfaces, and within the rolling vapor, tornted souls seed to struggle and wail.

On the cha's chest, the energy core had been replaced by a giant skull. Ghostly green flas burned in the skull's eye sockets. They seed to be the karmic flas of Hell, emitting an eerie glow that could seemingly perceive the deepest fears in a person's heart. The skull's teeth were also sharp and jagged, looking as if they were ready to devour soone at any mont.

The cha's arms grew thicker, covered in a layer of heavy, rugged black scales. Black currents of electricity occasionally flickered between the scales, making a SIZZLING sound. Its legs resembled the talons of a great raptor, their outer sides covered in sharp bone spines that extended from the thigh to the ankle like layered thorns. The feet beca large and flat, covered in sharp protrusions that carved deep furrows in the sand with every step.

A pair of giant black wings sprouted from the cha's back. They were not made of feathers but were assembled from jagged, serrated plates of black bone, which made a CRACKLING sound as the wings moved.

The changes were not rely costic. Its size had changed as well; it now stood a full head taller than Chen Pingchuan's Sand God form.

"Since you insist on being so stubborn, brother-in-law, don't bla for getting rough!"

"Death Sky Curtain!"

Yang Jian maneuvered the new cha into a complex combat stance. In the next mont, intricate runes flew from his fingertips and embedded themselves into various parts of the armor. The runes glowed with an uncanny light, resonating with the cha's energy core and enveloping the entire machine in a mysterious and dangerous aura.

As the runes were infused, the energy shield on the cha's surface began to fluctuate violently, as if it were about to shatter under the surging power. Yang Jian's body trembled from the backlash, but his gaze only grew more resolute as he stared intently at Chen Pingchuan.

"You said you could revive infinitely, didn't you? That you're immortal? Well, today I'm going to shatter that illusion!"

Yang Jian roared, and the giant cha instantly dissolved into countless tiny particles that saturated the entire combat zone.

In an instant, the desert turned black. A terrifying torrent of energy erupted from Yang Jian's position, expanding outward from him like a supernova. The black light instantly illuminated the heavens and the earth, bathing the dim battlefield in a light as bright as day, yet one that reeked of endless destruction. Wherever the energy torrent passed, everything was instantly annihilated. Even the grains of sand were pulverized into dust by this force.

Chen Pingchuan, in his Desert Death God form, took the brunt of the attack. He was struck hard by the terrifying energy torrent and let out a heaven-shaking scream. His massive body shook violently under the impact, and sand cascaded from his body like rain.

"No! Impossible!"

Chen Pingchuan roared in horror. He had never expected Yang Jian's second wave of attack to be so powerful. He attempted to mobilize the sand beneath his feet to resist the destructive force, but before this mighty energy, the sand was like fragile paper—instantly torn apart and blown away.

The energy torrent continued to bombard the Desert Death God's body. His form began to disintegrate as massive chunks of sand fell away. Even so, Chen Pingchuan stubbornly held on, relying on the power of his greed. His eyes suddenly filled with a mixture of terror and bitter unwillingness.

anwhile, at the epicenter of the energy eruption, Yang Jian was also enduring imnse pain. His cha had disintegrated, its tal fragnts scattering everywhere, yet he continued to stare intently at Chen Pingchuan, his face devoid of regret.

"I kept my promise," Yang Jian gritted his teeth, whispering to himself with the last of his strength. "I just didn't expect you to be so hard to kill. If I'd known, I would've demanded a better price!"

As the energy continued to surge, the entire desert was plunged into chaos. Wild winds howled, sending sand and stones flying, while the dark clouds in the sky were churned into an even greater turmoil.

Finally, under the apocalyptic energy impact, Chen Pingchuan's Desert Death God form could no longer hold. With a BOOM, he completely collapsed, dissolving into countless specks of dust that scattered into the air.

Monts later, everything finally fell silent. The once-vast desert battlefield was now unrecognizable. A massive crater scarred its center, the walls still shimring with traces of black energy. The surrounding sand, baked by the intense heat, had been fused into a smooth, glass-like surface that reflected a bizarre glow in the sunlight.

"Boss, is it over?" Lilia widened her eyes, staring in disbelief at the scene before her.

For so reason, despite the terrifying energy wave from the battle, the four people standing at the entrance to the Divine Hall were completely unhard. The hall itself also remained perfectly intact, untouched by the world-destroying energy.

Yang Jian had naturally noticed the anomaly with the Divine Hall but paid it no mind. He only needed to complete his brother-in-law's request. He didn't know how his brother-in-law had managed to traverse ti and space to find his past self and give him one simple instruction: the mont they t, Yang Jian was to kill him.

But Yang Jian had still agreed to Chen Pingchuan's request. And as for why? Don't ask. He just did.

COUGH, COUGH...

A soft cough sounded unusually abrupt in the post-battle silence of the desert. Yang Jian's heart seized, and he looked in disbelief toward the sound.

There, where the dust had not yet fully settled, Chen Pingchuan was slowly rising from the sand. His form was a wreck—much of his sand-body was missing—but the aura of greed still clung to him like a maggot to bone.

"You think... this could kill ?" Chen Pingchuan's voice was hoarse and sinister, filled with intense malice. "I already told you, as long as this desert exists, I can..."

A look of grim determination crossed Yang Jian's face. He smiled bitterly at Chen Pingchuan.

"Next ti, find soone else for this kind of suicide mission, I'm begging you!"

"I only skimd a little off your bride price! Was it really necessary to lay such a big trap for ?!"

"Never mind. You wouldn't get it even if I explained. I just wanted to tell you one thing."

"You're dood!"
