Even if it costs my life and transcendent status, I must achieve the wish to reboot the world...
The enlightennt of Tai Sui, the Master of Divine Seal, commands my utmost respect.
At the sa ti, I also understand very well that it's impossible for to agree to his suggestion.
It's not because I am uninterested in the throne of the Master of Divine Seal, but because his proposal can never be free of charge.
As expected, he followed up with, "However, before that, you must agree to one condition of mine."
"Go ahead," I had already anticipated.
"You must swear before that once you hold the divine seal, you will restore this world to its original state," Tai Sui said solemnly, "And you must also promise that you will never let the doomsday factor appear in this world again—
"As long as you agree to these two conditions, I will imdiately hand over all my seal authority and erase my consciousness from all the Divine Seal Fragnts. From now on, no matter what you plan to do with the divine seal, I will neither interfere nor be able to interfere. What do you say?"
As he finished, his eyes seed to possess a mysterious penetrating power.
He could also simulate the Divine Son's ability to see through all lies. If I lied here, he would surely see through it.
"I won't," I directly rejected, "I won't agree to such terms."
Tai Sui asked confusedly, "Why? Is it still because of the previous reason? If you're worried that after the world reboots, I won't retain the consciousness and mory of you and a few other important beings, you really needn't worry. Because by then, the Master of Divine Seal responsible for making decisions is you, I will no longer be around."
"Tai Sui, your wish is to protect the world where you once lived. If it has been destroyed, then make it return... But I also have a world I wish to protect," I said.
"Protect the world..." Tai Sui said complexly, "I never dared to think in the past that I could hear such words from people like you... Sorry, you are already different from Liu Shuying, right?"
He was silent for a mont, then continued, "Are you referring to the current world? Everything accumulated so far, you don't want to turn it into a dream of the original world?"
"Correct." I nodded.
"I can understand your feelings," Tai Sui said in a deep voice, "In the New World, there's no one truly around to understand my heart. The life I've experienced seems like a dreamy illusion to them. Besides my own mories, I can't find any material evidence to prove its existence. Sotis even I feel that it was a delusion...
"However, this is the only thod to save the world. Let be direct with you, Zhuang Cheng. The faults in this New World are too many. Apart from the human massacre plan of the Evangelical Institute and my world reboot plan, it's impossible to completely extract its disease from this world. It's like a person's brain and organs have gone cancerous, and the only way to save them is to replace both the brain and organs at once... but how is that different from 'changing a person'?
"In terms of computer programs, the human history program of the New World is essentially running with a heap of bugs, far beyond the stage where deleting them could solve the problem.
"And even simply changing a world does not guarantee the next world won't have problems. The lessons of the super-ancient civilization and Liu Shuying are right before our eyes. Since we know the previous world was healthy and there is a chance to reverse gears, we should reverse without hesitation."
I said unwaveringly, "How to do it specifically, I will think it over myself afterward. Although currently, it seems like the only thod, it doesn't necessarily an it is the only thod. I will not take the sa path again, this bottom line I will not compromise."
"Do you think with your Third Gate Power, you can correct the flawed human history? Let tell you right now, it's impossible," Tai Sui said, "It's like Impermanence can resurrect the dead, but cannot resurrect those killed with malice by another Impermanence. Although those of you who push open the Third Gate can create and eradicate the world's errors, you can't repair errors caused by the divine seal.
"Even with the complete power of the divine seal, it is impossible to restore this world to a healthy state without altering the world itself. No matter how hard you think, a non-existent solution simply does not exist."
"If I can't think of a solution, I'll find soone who can. Your rhetoric doesn't work on ," I wasn't buying it.
"Are you referring to Number Two?" Tai Sui saw through this, "But currently, Shan Liangyi is in the real world, and when you return, Number Two might already have been captured by Shan Liangyi and beco a hostage used against you. And if you gain my seal authority, although you can't imdiately synthesize the complete Doomsday Divine Seal, you will be able to preliminarily synthesize the Little Doomsday Divine Seal from the existing seventeen Divine Seal Fragnts, boosting your power to levels far beyond Shan Liangyi.
"Moreover, without this power, even if Liu Shuying hasn't yet reclaid the Current World Divine Seal, you absolutely won't be his opponent, not to ntion opposing the Old Fist God who possesses the Current World Divine Seal."
Hearing this, is Liu Shuying actually stronger than I am now?
It's not surprising, really. In the past, I relied on similarities with Liu Shuying to gain the potential within to transform into Impermanence. But rely being similar to an Impermanence who has pushed open a second door couldn't possibly grant the power rivaling Impermanence, which is also the primary reason the Ancient Great Impermanence Shentu couldn't resurrect through soone similar to their future self.
Even with the intervention of the Vermilion Bird Seed, if what I originally possessed were talents at the Great Success Rank level, rging them would at most result in a very powerful Great Success Rank. There's such a decisive gap between Impermanence and Great Success Rank. My magic talent must have had enough innate strength before to naturally grow into Impermanence.
Of course, I have now surpassed my original limits and forged my own path... But precisely because I'm taking it one step further, I can clearly realize the power of that pinnacle.
So how powerful would Liu Shuying be as the prototype?
"Based on my past observations, the power output limit of a single Divine Seal Fragnt doesn't seem to exceed an Impermanence's level... Seventeen Divine Seal Fragnts sound like a lot, but can they truly generate power surpassing Shan Liangyi and Liu Shuying?" I questioned.
"Shan Liangyi was only an Impermanence even with just one Yellow Dragon Seed. Gathering four seeds could revert to the Third Door level; five could surpass their past life..." Tai Sui slowly said, "The power increase in this process is definitely not a simple fivefold. Why do you think seventeen Divine Seal Fragnts would only have seventeen tis the power?"
"The divine seal isn't a compound tool assembled from different complete pieces; it is a creation existing from the start as that form. The parts alone can exhibit Great Impermanence Level power, which is extraordinary in itself.
"Moreover, Divine Seal Fragnts aren't even parts of a divine seal... They are the result produced after violent destruction, a severely damaged product. Assessing the power after synthesis based on 'the power of one of them' is aningless.
"There's still ti, fulfill my wish and save the world, Zhuang Cheng."
I no longer wish to repeat words of rejection, expressing my refusal with silence.
It seed Tai Sui couldn't draw a stronger card either. Continued persuasion would only repeat previous points, and he seed to be stuck in this predicant.
At this point, our negotiation was almost at a breaking point. Though I respected Tai Sui's resolve and appreciated the information provided, our paths couldn't be reconciled. Since our intentions opposed each other, we could only seek to eliminate the other.
Perhaps Tai Sui was considering using his strength as well, as sharp light began to appear in his eyes.
Can I kill Tai Sui and seize the Divine Seal Fragnts he possesses?
Even if we don't factor in that I can't see where he hides his Divine Seal Fragnts, attempting to kill Tai Sui seems unachievable. I'm confident about challenging Tai Sui in the void realm, but whether this confidence can manifest into real victory remains to be tested. Even if I do manage to defeat him, if Tai Sui rely aid to preserve his life, it would likely be easy for him to do so.
At the end of the day, the void realm is rely a world of dreams, and this Tai Sui is just a shadow. His true self is a consciousness-based existence, chaotically distributed among all the Doomsday Divine Seal fragnts.
If facing other enemies, even in dreams, killing just a shadow could lead to killing the main body using large amounts of True Spirit Power. But facing the Master of Divine Seal, Tai Sui, using the Power of Divine Seal Fragnts, attempting to kill him with his own power is akin to attacking him with his own strength. This leads to deduce a vague conclusion—it may be that only soone in the sa position as the Master of Divine Seal, Tai Sui, can truly eliminate him.
In other words, I perhaps need to beco a "Soul of the Divine Seal" to push Tai Sui away from his position and then completely kill him.
Can I achieve this? As I possess a small fraction of Seal Authority and can simulate the power of a Divine Son, theoretically, I could attach to the Divine Seal Fragnts like Tai Sui. But even if successful, even if I seize Tai Sui's Divine Seal Fragnts, I would only own seventeen fragnts, unable to imdiately complete the Doomsday Divine Seal's restoration, possibly becoming trapped in the void realm just as Tai Sui now is.
Taking a step back, considering my oddly low compatibility with Divine Seal Fragnts, I might not successfully beco the "Soul of the Divine Seal."
At that mont, a familiar male voice ca from afar.
"The atmosphere is so tense... Are you planning so event, and why haven't you invited ?"
Footsteps belonging to no Void Envoy echoed from deep within the void mist, steadily approaching the rocky seat area where we were.
Upon hearing this voice, Tai Sui's expression changed drastically.
