Ming Zhuo, although he prepared to target Mazao, was inevitably underprepared in this regard.
Because he couldn’t possibly predict from the start that I would bring Mazao to this terrifying battlefield filled with Great Impermanence level threats and Great Demons, nor could he predict that Mazao might mimic the Human Dao Divine Weapon to grasp a Great Impermanence level of power. When he saw Mazao appear, it was most likely then that he began to think about what ans to restrict Mazao’s potential on the battlefield.
rely relying on Great Demon Tu’s mind-confusing voices to restrain Mazao’s performance is overly crude. If he had sufficient preparation ti, there would be endless thods to kill Mazao, who is at the Great Success Rank, early amidst battlefield chaos. As he can only manage this level now, he has already shown weakness.
Furthermore, racking one’s brains about how to ambush us is, in itself, evidence of being at a disadvantage. A true strong person doesn’t need so much scheming.
In Ming Zhuo’s normal state, at the mont when he saw bring Mazao, this unknown factor, onto the battlefield, even if he had made other ambush preparations beforehand, he might still have run away without thinking. But he gritted his teeth and fought us—this battle is not sothing he can just opt-out of as he wishes, it’s not him who decides, but the one he follows, Evangelical Institute Master Yan Mo.
Therefore, if asked where our greatest chance of victory in this battle lies, I would answer without hesitation, in Mazao.
To achieve this, we must first find a way to eliminate Great Demon Tu.
As I conclude this in my heart, Great Demon Tu once again summoned new Great Demons.
The sixth, the seventh, the eighth... there were even three new Great Demons appearing on Zhu Shi’s side of the battlefield, with a ninth Great Demon vaguely taking shape in the distance amidst the darkness.
Although they are all degraded Great Demons, they undeniably possess Great Impermanence level power. Plus, with an even stronger Great Demon Tu joining the battle, even though Zhu Shi focused all her strength on escaping and defense, wielding the "Buzhou Mountain" superpower, this ti, she seemingly found no way out.
Just as she was about to die under the siege of the demons, I finally created an opportunity to help her.
Strictly speaking, I can’t spare much power to support her directly, but earlier I deployed a Fire Sea at Zhu Shi’s location and expanded it rapidly. Now, the Fire Sea’s expansion has reached a sufficient scale. What I am going to use now are the resources already present at Zhu Shi’s side.
The specific thod is the sa as when I rescued Water Navy Xuanwu during the battle with ng Zhang—that is, channeling a large number of preset commands through the connection with the Fire Sea to that side. Since this isn’t my first ti doing this, and I did so research after that battle, it has now beco quite easy. It’s like a programr copying and pasting old code into a new program, most of the preset commands are copied from previous operations, with a few being optimized and adjusted to the current conditions.
All the Great Demons hurled a massive amount of dark mana towards Zhu Shi, almost simultaneously, an orange-red "Catastrophe Demon" finished taking shape, roaring as it leaped from the Fire Sea, intercepting part of the attack for Zhu Shi.
The "Catastrophe Demon" isn’t significantly stronger than the degraded Great Demons and isn’t good at defense, so when hit by so many attacks, it was shattered instantly. However, this change created an opportunity for Zhu Shi to struggle for survival. Skilled at spotting "flaws," she sharply found an escape route opened by the upheaval, her figure flashed, and she once again broke away from the encirclent of the demons.
Moreover, the previously eliminated "Catastrophe Demon" instantly completed its revival. Being a re aggregation of power, no matter how many tis it is violently dismantled, as long as the Fire Sea exists, it can return endlessly.
Furthermore, imdiately after its rebirth, the "Catastrophe Demon" let out a roar, erupting a vast expanse of Fire Sea from its center, stronger in both initial scale and expansion speed than a Fire Sea summoned by soone not on the sa level as .
So Great Demons launched attacks on the "Catastrophe Demon", while others attacked Zhu Shi again. However, no matter how much the forr are destroyed, they won’t be eliminated, and the expansion process of the Fire Sea won’t be interrupted; as for the latter, they continued to move rapidly, the divided firepower preventing them from falling into a desperate situation too quickly.
In just a breath, another "Catastrophe Demon" hatched from the Fire Sea, joining the ranks promoting the expansion of the Fire Sea, assisting Zhu Shi in defense and counterattack.
"——What?"
In the distance, Ming Zhuo was still engaged in combat with Jian Feixian. He turned his head and saw this scene, his facial muscles instantly stiffened.
Summoning multiple Great Impermanence level incarnations at will—being able to do this, as far as I know, only I, "Paradise", and Naraku Gospel can.
This move of mine obviously far exceeded Ming Zhuo’s understanding and calculations, his expression then twisted a bit, as if he had a dreadful premonition.
Then, yet another new "Catastrophe Demon" completed hatching and joined the ranks promoting the expansion of the Fire Sea. Zhu Shi and three "Catastrophe Demons" coordinated in an attempt to resist an enemy force more than twice their number.
In no ti, the number of "Catastrophe Demons" rose to five. On the opposite side, the number of Great Demons summoned by Great Demon Tu climbed to nine.
Even Naraku Gospel, at most, summoned just under ten Great Demons. Including Great Demon Tu himself, this made exactly ten. I don’t think Great Demon Tu can continue to increase the number of Great Demons.
However, the reproduction process of the "Catastrophe Demons" is also likely to stop here. The act of summoning incarnations through the Fire Sea is, to so extent, similar to Naraku Gospel’s summoning of Great Demons. Since the latter has a nurical limit, I too am not exempted from this.
Although the maintenance and expansion of the Fire Sea can rely on external fuel resources, theoretically increasing indefinitely, rely relying on my preset commands to spontaneously gather without personal manipulation, the Fire Sea cannot naturally compress to form Great Impermanence level entities.
It’s all because these "Catastrophe Demons" are my incarnations. Similarity has power, and these entities, similar in form of existence to and birthed as my incarnations, can naturally receive mysterious enhancent in relevant areas, simulating a strength relatively close to mine. Of course, since they rely mimic , they can’t possess strength surpassing mine. At this stage, they are just degraded versions of , inferior by a grade compared to without the Ash Weapon.
This mysterious enhancent isn’t without limits. It’s similar to the power gained by groups of believers through a God’s retribution body. The retribution body has inexhaustible power, as long as the fact of Great Impermanence’s existence remains, it’ll never extinguish, but the infinite total doesn’t an infinite power output, the power produced by the retribution body cannot enhance to exceed the level of Great Impermanence itself.
Five "Catastrophe Demons" is the maximum number my current size can support.
Together with Zhu Shi, that’s just six combat forces. Compared to the ten on Great Demon Tu’s side, there’s no doubt it’s a disadvantage. While "Catastrophe Demons" aren’t afraid of injury or death, I doubt Great Demon Tu faces any lack of combat replenishnt conditions either. For now, it’s only temporary aid in getting Zhu Shi out of a life-or-death situation, still insufficient to turn the tide.
Yet, Zhu Shi’s eyes burst with fighting spirit, she held her sword high facing all the enemies ahead—
"Thank you, Zhuang Cheng—" she said, "Next, allow to carve a path to turn the tables for you and Mazao."
