"The thod to eliminate side effects is simple to speak of, but may be sowhat troubleso to implent. At least, in your current state, you should still be unable to practice it imdiately," No. 7 said, "This thod requires the user to possess at least the power equivalent to three Divine Seal Fragnts."
"It actually requires Divine Seal Fragnts?" I was surprised.
It’s rely about restoring soone’s mory, and yet it requires Divine Seal Fragnts... Furthermore, not just one, but three? Although I understand that recovering mories lost to Frenzy is an extrely difficult task, this seems like overkill no matter how you look at it.
No wonder Three-Life Stone Powder is considered a failed product. According to the Master of Divine Seal’s past statents, there are only twenty-one to thirty-five Divine Seal Fragnts in total. In other words, the number of people who can completely restore their mories through Three-Life Stone Powder without side effects is at most eleven, while the number of soul-loss patients who have fallen into the Post-mortem World, based on the information I received before falling into the Post-mortem World, has already exceeded a million.
This is still the most ideal situation, where I estimate the maximum number of Divine Seal Fragnts and did not exclude those bound to Void Envoys.
anwhile, I confirm once again that Tai Sui indeed has a significant connection to the divine seal.
Being able to devise a dication based on the essential use of Divine Seal Fragnts, and calculating the necessary amount of Divine Seal Fragnt power... Without a profound understanding of the relevant forces, such things cannot be achieved.
"...The original design of Three-Life Stone Powder was ant to allow those other than the Master of Divine Seal to use a portion of the Master’s omniscience power..."
No. 7 certainly understood the weight of her own words, but she continued bravely, "...The so-called ’Three Lives Stone’ symbolizes past, present, and future in mythological tales. In the most ideal circumstance, the one who consus Three-Life Stone Powder can temporarily perceive all information about their past, present, and future.
"Although it’s rely omniscience from a subjective perspective, the user can only view things they ’have already known in the past’ and ’may know in the future,’ and cannot achieve the objective omniscience like a true Master of Divine Seal does, but that alone is already miraculous.
"Unfortunately, affected by the Doomsday, the concept of ’human future’ has been shattered. Therefore, even if the research of Three-Life Stone Powder succeeded, users can’t see their future, at most they can see their present and past... This isn’t just true for those who consu it in the Post-mortem World, they also face this issue when consuming it after returning to the Living World. And that’s why Three-Life Stone Powder allows people to rember their past lives.
"That is why consuming Three-Life Stone Powder requires three Divine Seal Fragnts, because these three fragnts must strongly establish the three concepts of past, present, and future in one’s existence to form a tiline. Although the function of foreseeing the future can’t be activated, the future component still cannot be absent on the user’s tiline; otherwise, the excessive dicinal energy with nowhere to channel will damage the user’s future. The most direct expression of this is that the user will die."
With such a ridiculous design concept, no wonder it requires as many as three Divine Seal Fragnts... After hearing this, I asked, "Isn’t it enough to establish a tiline just with one’s consciousness?"
"For people like you, a human god, and Little Bowl, a Divine Son, although both can reestablish the tiline internally through consciousness to avoid excessively losing ti in chaotic space-ti, there is a difference... and it’s the strength of power," No. 7 explained, "Even if you consu Three-Life Stone Powder, you won’t be poisoned to death because your power can support the excess dicinal energy with nowhere to go... whereas Little Bowl doesn’t have the sa conditions.
"Even if she follows the correct technique, without sufficient power, it’s useless. It’s like a mortal child skilled in weightlifting techniques can never truly lift over two hundred kilograms.
"Although just one Divine Seal Fragnt provides Evil level power, that would lead Little Bowl’s body to beco unable to support itself. Even No. 1 Xu Gou based his ability to sustain such a powerful output on Ying Lingyun’s super transformation technology, sothing others simply cannot accomplish. Three Divine Seal Fragnts can build a stable internal structure that won’t harm Little Bowl herself."
She’s truly unrestrained now, even letting Ying Lingyun’s na slip from her mouth.
"Little Bowl herself has one Divine Seal Fragnt bound to her, and Yellow Springs Evangelical Institute has another fragnt. I can decide to hand over the latter to you, and also provide the specific technology required for getting this thod done... but there’s still one missing," No. 7 explained.
The Divine Seal Fragnts bound to myself and No. 7 can’t be handed over for others to use. Little Bowl needs an ownerless Divine Seal fragnt.
I summoned the wooden box from the flas, opened it, revealing the ownerless Divine Seal fragnt stored inside.
"I can provide the final one," I stated.
No. 7 was slightly surprised; she deeply gazed at the wooden box, then said, "...Then, once the subsequent battle is successful, we can help Little Bowl recover her mory."
"But, if the number of bound Divine Seal Fragnts increases to three, the connection with the Void Realm and Master of Divine Seal will deepen significantly..." I glanced at Little Bowl.
Judging by No. 7’s explanation, Little Bowl can’t use three Divine Seal Fragnts simultaneously without binding them. Once the Void Envoy contacts two other Divine Seal Fragnts, automatic binding will occur.
"I don’t mind. My binding level with Divine Seal Fragnts is already high, so even binding two more won’t make a fundantal difference. Moreover, I can use my prayer power to weaken the strengthened connection back to its initial state," Little Bowl responded without avoiding No. 7.
I don’t know if she’s rely trying to dispel my concerns. She ntioned before that she couldn’t use her miracle summoning power on herself. She claid that it’s due to a lack of survival desire, therefore unable to pray for herself. Or perhaps now she doesn’t want to die as much?
For her current self, binding one or three Divine Seal Fragnts indeed makes no substantial difference, thus I tentatively accepted her reasoning, as well as the plan.
After finalizing the details of the plan, No. 7 was about to leave the eting room.
"Next, I need to finalize the collaboration details with various aspects of Tai Sui Army. You can wander around the stronghold anwhile. I’ll notify you once the operation begins," she said, "By the way, concerning the truth of this ’Doomsday Era’ that I just discussed, please refrain from ntioning it to other locals here. They don’t know the secrets and telling them doesn’t warrant what might happen."
The Doomsday survivors seem to harbor self-destructive tendencies generally. Although it’s unclear if there’s a correlation to the saying "people with inferiority tendency often display arrogance," they all have contradictions. Despite their intense survival instinct, they conceal a strong desire to die.
Makes one wonder what chemical reactions might ensue if these ntally unhinged individuals realize they’re surviving in a Post-mortem World all along.
Little Bowl seed emotionally conflicted about this too, but her stance is sowhat distinct from ordinary Doomsday survivors, so it should avoid major issues.
After No. 7 left the eting room, I turned toward Little Bowl and asked, "Little Bowl, if you can weaken your connection with the Void Realm, can you also sever this connection completely?"
"If Brother Zhuang Cheng wants to eliminate his connection with the Void Realm entirely, though it requires spending many Heavenly Numbers, I should be able to achieve that," Little Bowl replied, "However, if it pertains to eliminating my connection with the Void Realm, that is impossible."
There’s no way I would sever my connection with the Void Realm entirely, so I declined it, then focused on the latter part of the question, "—Why can’t it be done?"
"Because the connection with the Void Realm is the connection with Divine Seal Fragnts. And the power I use to weaken and eliminate that connection is indeed the power of Divine Seal Fragnts," Little Bowl said helplessly, "After weakening my side of the connection to the initial state, it becos like trying to lift oneself with their own hands... The more the connection is weakened, the weaker one’s own power gets; and if the power is too weak, it then can’t be used to weaken the connection further."
The power capable of helping others just couldn’t seem to assist herself; this situation appears not to be the first for Little Bowl.
She herself didn’t seem to concern it much, then asked, "Brother Zhuang Cheng, regarding the Doomsday Era... How is your parsing of the temporal order of the Post-mortem World? Can you keep up with the battle ahead?"
"No problem. Thanks to your blessings. Though not as free as in the modern world, I should no longer have any issues with combat,"
I clenched my fist, sharing my thoughts, "Especially after hearing the Doomsday Era is actually the Post-mortem World... Feels like I’ve broken through the final veil of ignorance, allowing a more accurate understanding of the space-ti here."
"That’s good to hear," Little Bowl joyfully said, "Before you depart to raid Yellow Springs Evangelical Institute, I’ll enhance your blessings further. Although it won’t boost your power directly, it should significantly assist in other ways.
She expressed a heartfelt sigh, "If only I had the strength for direct combat too..."
In the forthcoming operation, Little Bowl would only be positioned at the farthest rear. Even if she had the strength to increase favorable blessings, I couldn’t allow soone without combat capability to step into the battlefield.
For further safety, I had marked her with thermal energy markers and given her ten or so "Fireflies," ensuring she remains under my surveillance at all tis.
In the final monts, we took No. 7’s advice, strolling through Tai Sui Army’s stronghold, awaited the signal for battle comncent.
