After returning to the surface, Ming Zhuo and I arrived at a vast wasteland.

The light cannon that struck Ming Zhuo from a distance blew him away instantly, causing him to crash heavily to the ground.

This attack was incredibly powerful; it looked like a sneak attack aid at injuring Ming Zhuo. In reality, it did exploit his extre vulnerability from combined internal and external attacks to strip away one of his lives, but it also temporarily freed him from my control. Moreover, the mana contained within the light cannon transford into sothing like a cocoon, encasing him inside and severing my connection with the Xuanming Fire.

I imdiately released flas to destroy the white light cocoon. It was clear that this was only a temporary protective asure, for the white light cocoon disintegrated in less than a tenth of a second. But it was already too late.

In that brief mont, less than one-tenth of a second, Ming Zhuo completely broke free from my killing cycle.

Every ti the Xuanming Fire broke Ming Zhuo’s seal and erupted, Ming Zhuo would die and resurrect, including the restoration of the seal on the Xuanming Fire, which would also be automatically sealed back in, before the next destructive outburst took place. Within this killing cycle, the Xuanming Fire could not be fueled by anything other than my Spirit, maintaining a high-intensity burn solely based on the Spirit I infused into it.

Once this cycle stalled, Xuanming Fire would quickly shrink back to its original size due to lack of fuel, allowing Ming Zhuo to fully seal it and disconnect from Xuanming Fire.

To initiate the killing cycle again, I had to use "Eclipse" to hit and injure Ming Zhuo a second ti, unsettling his seal. But hitting Ming Zhuo again... it’s not that it can’t be done, it’s just that the difficulty of the sa move working on Ming Zhuo a second ti was undeniably greater.

Who was that Great Impermanence in the distance who seed to be helping , but actually helped Ming Zhuo out of his predicant?

No, I knew who it was. That mana fluctuation, I had felt it before.

I also descended to the ground and then turned in that direction. From tens of kiloters away, a beam of white light sliced through the sky and fell beside Ming Zhuo like a teor, dispersing all the surrounding flas.

After the light faded, a muscular and imposing man, reminiscent of ancient generals, erged with a profound and stately aura.

Although this was the first ti I’d seen his face, the mana fluctuations wrapped around him felt familiar. They were identical in nature to the mana sealed within the glass talisman given to by Weichi, albeit differing in scale and intensity.

"—Divine Light!"

Ming Zhuo shouted his na after resurrecting.

Divine Light turned to glance at him, then rcilessly laughed: "Ming Zhuo, look at yourself...What a disgrace! To be beaten to such a state by a newly minted Great Impermanence and then needing to rescue you, if I were you, I’d have taken my own life long ago.

"Oh, my apologies, I forgot, you can’t even die if you want to."

"Rescue ?" Ming Zhuo seed to be grinding his teeth, "I never asked for your help, what are you here for? If it’s just to talk nonsense, then get lost!"

Although both were Great Impermanence advocating for Extraordinaryism, it seed like, just as Gua Tianshi had said, sharing the sa ideals of Extraordinaryism didn’t necessarily an they were united. Ming Zhuo’s gaze at Divine Light was not only angry but also filled with blatant suspicion and vigilance, as if he was on guard for Divine Light to suddenly strike at him.

Could it be that Ming Zhuo actually had poor relationships among Great Impermanences?

Divine Light spoke nonchalantly: "Don’t say that. I did, after all, take so things from you not long ago; I can’t just watch you be worn down to death by Zhuang Cheng. Consider this assistance as paying back a debt."

"Divine Light, are you planning to stand with Ming Zhuo? Will you join him in battle against afterward?" I asked.

"This..." Divine Light was about to answer.

Suddenly, from afar, two new Great Impermanence-level mana fluctuations appeared, along with a voice as profound as thunder: "Don’t worry about that."

Two figures then appeared beside . To be precise, these two figures appeared first, followed by the sound. However, in terms of ti sequence, one of them must have spoken from a distance before rushing over. Their speed far exceeded that of sound, such that by the ti they arrived, the initially emitted voice was belatedly catching up. It was as if there was an invisible sound system in the environnt playing the voice of one of them.

One was an elderly man dressed in black formal wear, with a stern and profound countenance, while the other was a young man in white, carrying a long sword.

Judging from appearances, the one who spoke was the forr. The mana fluctuations from him also felt familiar to , sharing the sa nature as the mana within the glass talisman handed over by Mr. Zhu. In other words, this man was Fa Zheng.

And that sword-wielding youth in white who allied himself with Fa Zheng must be another Great Impermanence from the Governance Ideology faction, Jian Feixian.

"Divine Light, the dispute between Zhuang Cheng and Ming Zhuo is their personal grudge. As long as they don’t excessively involve the surroundings, letting them fight till the end of ti doesn’t matter. But if you stand by Ming Zhuo’s side and attack Zhuang Cheng, then don’t bla us for siding with Zhuang Cheng and joining the battle," Fa Zheng said solemnly.

Jian Feixian crossed his arms, standing silently behind Fa Zheng, watching Ming Zhuo and Divine Light with sharp eyes.

"I never said I was going to help Ming Zhuo against Zhuang Cheng, I just want to ensure Ming Zhuo’s safety. Besides, I have so things I’d like to discuss with Zhuang Cheng," said Divine Light. "What about you? Fa Zheng, don’t tell you’re aiding him because you think Zhuang Cheng is a Governance Realist?

"Have you not noticed his attitude towards his surroundings? For a mont’s impulse, he wouldn’t hesitate to set the entire world ablaze, without any concern for society and civilization... Isn’t he exactly the kind of person you despise?

"If it weren’t for preventing us from intervening, would he even co up with the idea of ’dragging Ming Zhuo underground’?"

Fa Zheng replied unflinchingly, "Once a battle starts, anyone can be blinded by their fervor, losing sight of their surroundings. Even I am not exempt from such tendencies; how then can I bla Zhuang Cheng? Ultimately, the root cause of this incident lies with Ming Zhuo; Zhuang Cheng is rely acting in self-defense, a justified retaliation."

"Such polite words... So, what do you plan to do with this situation?" asked Divine Light.

"The one who can decide this isn’t Fa Zheng, it’s Zhuang Cheng."

A new voice arose, and an elderly man with white hair but a youthful face, wearing a gray taoist robe, had appeared beside Ming Zhuo and Divine Light at so point.

"Gua Tianshi..." Fa Zheng looked at the newcor with wariness.

This is the first ti I’ve seen Gua Tianshi in human form. It seems he also intends to save Ming Zhuo. One could guess his motives; although an advocate of Extraordinaryism, he cares greatly for the human ecosystem. Killing Ming Zhuo could likely cause widespread climate anomalies, sothing he probably does not wish to see.

Though I previously intended to extract mantle energy underground to kill Ming Zhuo, thinking it over calmly, hamring into the mantle with Great Impermanence power nonstop for ten years—who knows what impact it would have on the surface world? There’s a theory that earthquakes originate from crustal movents, collisions, and friction driven by the mantle, and abnormal mantle activities can also cause volcanic eruptions on the surface. Even if my actions wouldn’t lead to world destruction, they could potentially trigger a series of natural disasters due to the chain reaction.

As people from both sides gradually made their way onto the scene, the number of Great Impermanences present, including myself, had increased to six.

Perhaps other Great Impermanences would continue to appear.

Fa Zheng, observing his surroundings, asked, "What about the others? Have they arrived?"

"No, the ones here are all the Great Impermanences currently gathered at headquarters," said Gua Tianshi. "King Zhuanlun still doesn’t respond to ssages, and nobody knows where he is. Liu Shuying is still in the Arctic.

"As for Old Fist God... He always appears out of nowhere; he might’ve co to headquarters but doesn’t seem to plan on showing himself."

Liu Shuying... I know this na; he is a neutral Great Impermanence, as powerfully neutral as Old Fist God from Luo Mountain.

I know very little about this Great Impermanence.

Unlike King Zhuanlun, whose existence at the base of Luo Mountain is sotis questioned, Liu Shuying is universally acknowledged as a real Great Impermanence, but a closer look reveals that the difference between the two is negligible. Mr. Zhu has also collected information on Liu Shuying for , but adding it all up is hardly different from that on King Zhuanlun, not even filling half a page.

He’s actually in the Arctic? Why? Is there a purpose?

In the "potential world" summoned by the power of illusion during the past Eclipse, the Arctic was referred to as the "Land of Origin," a critical place for obtaining a complete divine seal. I also briefly investigated the Arctic but found no anomalies.

And that there is another Great Impermanence active in the Arctic, according to Gua Tianshi, this is not a matter of just a day or two... One can only assu that the one called Liu Shuying also realized the significance of the Arctic, or perhaps like , understood that to obtain a complete divine seal, one must head to the Arctic...

Indeed, these Great Impermanences should not be underestimated.

Even before Luo Mountain as a whole took the divine seal seriously, these individuals had already explored deeply.

"So, Zhuang Cheng..." asked Fa Zheng, "what do you plan to do with Ming Zhuo?"
