"If that’s the case, then you are no match for ."
As he spoke, he launched another attack on , transforming his black and scarlet mana fluctuations into a deeply colored and spine-chilling concentrated beam of light. I also launched my attack without hesitation, transforming the flas into a huge spear that spanned hundreds of ters, stabbing at him.
Since my flas can even burn through ti solidified by that Ti Manipulator, then could it be possible to burn the ti of Ming Zhuo... or rather, his lifespan?
My flas are not just capable of burning ti, they can even burn space. It should be said, in my world view colored by scientific concepts, ti and space are inherently unified. Given that I have manifested the power to burn even ti, it is only logical for space to be consud simultaneously. Since the concept of spatial distance is disrupted, my Fla Spear appears to move at a speed likened to Instantaneous Movent, striking Ming Zhuo’s body despite being released later.
But the next mont, I beca certain...
My power is insufficient to harm Ming Zhuo’s body.
Like a wooden toothpick striking a stone wall, at the mont of impact, it was my Fla Spear that disintegrated first.
anwhile, Ming Zhuo’s black and scarlet concentrated beam slamd into my body. In an instant, my body seed to corrode as if by a potent acid, with the process fast-forwarding tens of thousands of tis, disintegrating into nothingness in just a mont. Along with it, my soul t the sa fate, completely disintegrating on the spot.
This wasn’t the first ti my soul had been totally destroyed, so I didn’t panic. I manipulated the Fire Sea below and reconstructed my body in the high skies, then looked toward Ming Zhuo in the distance.
"So it’s ’density’, isn’t it?" I said.
Ming Zhuo did not answer my question, only letting out a cold sneer as if holding a winning ticket. It didn’t matter that he didn’t answer, I had already seen through the subtleties.
The principle was very simple. Having control over the power of Impermanence, the decisive shortfall was my "density".
As power escalates, the factors influencing victory and defeat between my enemies and beco fewer and fewer. This is even more so after reaching the realm of Impermanence. Lucky timing? Geographic advantage? For an Impermanence who could manipulate celestial phenona and reshape terrains with a re strike, these factors were as good as non-existent. The number of subordinates one has is also inconsequential.
The real determinants of the outco of our clash boil down to only two factors: "scale" and "density" – which one possesses more power and who can utilize it more efficiently.
From what I observed, the power that Ming Zhuo used just now was in fact only marginally stronger than a strategic-level nuclear weapon, that is to say, rounded up, it’s on par with Yinyue’s nuclear explosion, clearly inferior to Water Navy Xuanwu’s Shattered Golden Core strike. This doesn’t an that Ming Zhuo, as Impermanence, could only be compared to the Rank of Great Success, but rather that Yinyue and Water Navy Xuanwu, despite being at the Rank of Great Success, have managed to summon Impermanence-scale powers.
Yet, these two individuals have a significant drawback. While they can summon powers of an Impermanence’s scale, they cannot control them, similar to how a child holding the weapons of Three Kingdoms generals cannot wield them effectively.
Ming Zhuo is different. He possesses exceptional "Martial Arts" and is an "military general" that wreaks havoc on the battlefield; whereas I am rely an ordinary soldier wielding rudintary weapons, the gap between us in terms of "Martial Arts" and "experience" is vast.
Clearly, since only "scale" and "density" can influence the outco between Impermanence, they naturally devote their entirety to these two aspects. Among "scale" and "density," an Impermanence would likely delve deeper into "density." As any Impermanence wields power capable of turning the world upside down, they hardly need to worry about running out of power.
Compared to , Ming Zhuo has already traversed this path for countless years. I must admit, at present, I am unequivocally the weaker party.
Ironically, our current situation is much like the characters introduced in the later parts of many fantasy novels where combat boils down to "casting spells"; the one with the more formidable move wins. The opportunity for strategic and skill elents to be at play is slim. Yet, isn’t it exactly "strategy" and "skill" that the weaker relies on to defeat the stronger?
Then, if I’m far behind the opponent in the primary "density," how do I fare in the secondary "scale"?
Regrettably, based on the judgnt of my Perception and the feedback from our clash, it appears that I am also unable to widen the gap with the opponent in "scale." It’s not clear who has more or less; it feels as though neither side has an advantage, maybe it’s a fifty-fifty split.
It seems that my only advantage now is that I am very hard to kill.
Quite ironically, even though as a Fla Ability User, offensive power is my supposed forte, my attack power is now the least advantageous, while my strongest point has turned out to be my resilience.
Even then, this strength is also sothing in which Ming Zhuo is stronger.
No... there is one more breakthrough point.
That is Xuanming Fire.
I tried to sense the Xuanming Fire within Ming Zhuo’s body, and concurrently, a black and scarlet light erged once more from the palm of Ming Zhuo.
In my perception, the light he was condensing this ti was far more concentrated and terrifying than before.
"Do you think that being an Innate Manifestation ans you can’t be killed?" he said coldly, "Don’t underestimate Impermanence."
The black and scarlet light beam shot at again, and I attempted to dodge it using my fire manipulation but felt an inevitable inability to evade. Just as I had previously cast a "Guaranteed Hit" fate on other demon hunters, Ming Zhuo possesses a similar ability, and it is very likely that he has traveled further down the path of intervening in fate too.
This strike possessed enough strength to surpass my defenses and thereby, also the fate of my "intention to evade damage through other ans."
In an instant, the light struck .
My body and spirit crumbled once again, but unlike before, this ti, I felt my consciousness which could operate normally even without a body or spirit, being captured by an imnse darkness, plumting into oblivion...
