Dong Che took out sothing that looked like a familiar glass talisman.
Fa Zheng has also given similar items through a letter from the Zhu family.
"This is the master’s token, as long as you have this, you will not be hindered when you visit his residence," Dong Che explained.
I first accepted this new glass talisman and then asked, "Is Gua Tianshi planning to stop from doing sothing?"
While talking, I glanced at the man in his thirties standing behind Dong Che. He was dressed in a white uniform, and I didn’t know if he was Dong Che’s bodyguard or sothing else, as he did not introduce himself and stood there silently, watching Dong Che and communicate.
Based on the feedback from my Perception, his Mana was quite profound. Of course, this profundity is not compared with as a reference but is a general assessnt. He possessed Great Success Rank Mana; although not as formidable as Water Navy Xuanwu and Yinyue, he was on par with Divine Spear.
In Luoshan, there are less than twenty people with the Great Success Rank, and although their status is nowhere near that of the Impermanence, they are still highly respected. So, to say he was Dong Che’s bodyguard might be an understatent.
Moreover, judging by his uniform, he should be a "White Evil." In Luoshan, Black Evil in black uniforms are responsible for direct combat with bizarre entities, while White Evil in white uniforms tend to use indirect and strategic thods to tackle strange incidents.
Mr. Zhu also looked at this unfamiliar White Evil with a skeptical gaze, and soon seed to realize sothing. Surprised and enlightened expressions appeared on his face, but he did not rashly speak.
Upon hearing my question, Dong Che shook his head in confusion and said, "Though I’m not sure what you an... Master asked to tell you that you can finish what you need to do first before looking for him."
Upon hearing this, Zhu Shi and Mr. Zhu’s eyes brightened. Dong Che paused, then his expression changed, "Wait... Zhuang Cheng, the task you are about to undertake isn’t to challenge Impermanence Ming Zhuo, is it? Are you going to carry out the challenge you previously announced? No, that’s not likely, one should wait until you beco an Impermanence...
"No, that’s still too hasty, at least you should progress further in the domain of an Impermanence..."
He looked at with a very worried and uncertain expression, seemingly genuinely concerned for my safety. Although I had said in front of him that I could beco an Impermanence within twenty days, he might not completely believe it; or maybe he does, but seeing that only a short ti has passed, he probably thinks I’m still at the Great Success Rank.
Even if I prove right in front of everyone that I’ve truly beco an Impermanence, given his expression, he would definitely advise not to rashly take action; so I did not argue further, and simply changed the topic: "Speaking of which, Dong Che, since you are conveying a ssage from Gua Tianshi... are you back under Gua Tianshi’s direction?"
"No... not exactly."
As he spoke, Dong Che seed quite ashad, but went on, "I’m fully aware of the debt of gratitude I owe Master, who even went out of his way to save my life this ti, but no matter what, I still cannot embrace the philosophy of Extraordinaryism, and I cannot accept Extraordinaryism’s stance towards ordinary people... so I will continue to stay with the Governance Ideology camp."
Perhaps for Dong Che, the path he chose and adhered to is more important than his own life. Gratitude and righteousness can’t always be satisfied at any ti, my feelings for Mazao and the pursuits I chase in Mazao are also conflicting, so to so extent, I can understand the dilemma Dong Che faces.
As long as he does not regret it later. A person who does not regret their actions and can bear the consequences of the path they follow, regardless of whether they walk a path respected by thousands in the light or tread a morally degenerate path in the dark, is correct. This is a principle I have always firmly believed in.
"Does Gua Tianshi have any other ssages for you to convey?" I asked.
Dong Che tried to regain his composure, then said, "Yes... Master hopes that in your upcoming actions, try not to get too involved with the surroundings."
This statent really sounded like Gua Tianshi’s style, but I felt it was redundant. Since he does not intend to stop from challenging Ming Zhuo, it indicates he hopes I do not cause too much damage to the surroundings during the battle. If possible, I will certainly comply, but the real control over this matter is likely not in my hands, but in Ming Zhuo’s.
Or is there so deeper aning hidden in his advice?
Why can’t he just say the inner aning directly? A feeling of dislike towards this "riddler" rose in my heart once again, along with the frustrated sentint of "why can’t I be the one speaking in riddles."
"Well then, I must take my leave."
Dong Che bid us farewell, saluted the White Evil beside him, and then left.
The White Evil did not follow Dong Che; instead, he shifted his gaze from the departing Dong Che back to .
"Aren’t you guys together?" I asked, "Who are you?"
"I am an envoy of Fa Zheng, responsible for eting you at the Luoshan Headquarters. Since Gua Tianshi’s disciple seems to know you, I waited for him to finish talking to you. Now it’s my turn," the White Evil calmly said, "You may call ’Weichi’, and I will act as a guide to lead you to Fa Zheng’s residence."
