The tribute gifts sent by the various nobles to curry favor were a considerable sum, enough to more easily cultivate a new batch of knights.
"However, after this battle, the fa of the knights equipped with full magic gear began to spread, and obtaining such equipnt through trade will probably beco difficult."
As Li Wei practiced his skills, he thought back to the past when everyone, having attained extraordinary power, only thought about improving themselves. When war ca, they would don their magic armor, wield magical weapons, and ride their mutated mounts into battle against their foes.
It was unprecedented, like what Li Ming did, spending a great deal of money to distribute the magic equipnt – which ordinarily only nobles possessed – to every soldier, and training them into extraordinary fighters capable of group combat.
But undoubtedly, this approach greatly motivated so nobles. It was clearly visible that, at least in the short term, no one was willing to trade away these magic equipnts anymore.
And such consequences would undeniably lead to a stagnation in the training of their new magic knights.
"If only I had my own magic equipnt artisan."
Li Wei murmured reluctantly, but he knew such craftsn were not sothing just anyone could obtain. With that, he focused his mind and began practicing this miraculous training thod.
A training thod that, instead of harming the body, actually repaired it – this was the first ti he had encountered such a thing outside of magic practice.
With two years of practice, he even felt that the lingering injuries from years past and the damage his body had gradually sustained during training were all recovering under the influence of this technique, and his body began to rejuvenate slowly.
Such a valuable thod naturally deserved his diligent practice.
Since better equipnt was unobtainable, improving oneself beca the next best thing. As the value of equipnt increased, the value of other cultivation resources correspondingly decreased, making it an opportune ti to acquire them.
Focusing on equipnt first, then on combat strength, was always part of the plan.
As for the rest... it would depend on how impressive the upcoming noble banquet hosted by Li Ming would be.
And there was more... Li Wei’s gaze grew increasingly solemn. He could sense that the Gill family might have the shadow of a duke behind them. After such a fierce eradication of the Gill family, no one could say for sure what the attitude of the duke behind them, or even the archduke, would be.
Only by weathering such a crisis could the territory Li Ming had fought for be truly secured as his own.
Otherwise...
"Inhale, exhale~"
In the training field, the sound of deep breathing filled the air, and Li Wei’s heart gradually cald.

.........
The new domain of the Knight Rider family.
On the broad roads, nobles arriving to attend the banquet ca one after another with their beautiful spouses to this new territory of Li Ming’s war spoils.
Upon seeing the nearly four hundred fully-ard magic heavy knights standing like statues on both sides, they all paid close attention. Then, with gifts in hand, they smiled as they were received by Li Ming himself and temporarily moved into the spacious and grand palace, awaiting the start of the banquet.
On just the first day, eight out of the thirteen nobles invited by Li Ming had arrived.
The banquet was scheduled for five days later, so Li Ming was not in a hurry. However, that very evening, soone sought him out in person.
"Honorable Lord Li Ming, Mrs. Bern Carnot presents her respects," said Mrs. Bern on this early evening, having just finished dinner and not yet returned to her room. Li Ming encountered Count Bern with his spouse. Noting the other’s respectful manner, Li Ming raised an eyebrow, "The noble banquet has not yet begun, Count Bern. What brings you here this early?"
"Before coming here, I had already instructed my butler to bring thirty of the precious resource from my domain, the mágic fish, capable of reproduction, to your lands. With an extrely strong reproductive ability, they can increase to two thousand in less than three months – truly a premium asset for a domain."
Bern didn’t rush to answer Li Ming’s question, but instead first demonstrated his sincerity. Seeing Li Ming’s expression shift slightly, he respectfully continued, "I humbly request an opportunity for dialogue with you."
This sincerity was indeed quite comndable...
Unassailable reasons.
Li Ming looked at Count Bern’s sincere face and felt his sincerity, then he nodded in agreent with his request.
"Let’s take a walk outside, it’s a good opportunity to discuss your matters on the way."
Li Ming turned and walked outside while Bern hurriedly had his fair-skinned spouse wait there, then followed Li Ming with large strides.
The two walked through the corridor and into the deserted forest, and when Li Ming halted, Bern finally spoke up:
"My estate suffered the sa fate as yours, but I am incapable of wresting my territory from the voracious wolves that seized it. What I hope for this ti is to enlist your help to take back my estate from the hands of the Gill family."
While speaking, Bern Canat offered his terms with heartfelt sincerity: "In return, for the next thirty years, fifty percent of the tax revenue from the restored Canat estate will belong to you!"
After speaking, Bern Canat stood there waiting. When five minutes had passed without a response from Li Ming, he couldn’t help but look at him nervously.
"If I take this opportunity to exterminate the Gill family, do you have the right to do so?"
Li Ming’s voice finally sounded, low and distant. Bern’s eyes widened, and he nodded vigorously, "My parents died because of this. With the na of avenging my parents, it’s absolutely enough to annihilate the Gill family!"
"Good, I only want thirty percent of the revenue from the estate you reclaim from the Gills, and in return, you must diligently manage the Gill family’s territories for ."
Li Ming twisted his fingers and turned to look at the man, his voice deep and somber, "War is no child’s play, I hope every word you’ve spoken to is sincere."
"I, Bern Canat, swear in the na of the god of magic, should there be any falsehood, may Bern die a sudden and untily death!"
Bern clenched his teeth and raised his hand to swear vehently. Only after making the oath did he seem to feel relieved, lowering his hand.
"I believe the god of magic has witnessed your sincerity."
Li Ming, seeing him swear by the god of magic, showed a hint of a smile and gently patted his shoulder, his gesture full of aning.
It didn’t matter whether the god of magic had witnessed it or not. What mattered was that since he ca to seek help, he must have so issues of his own.
If what he said was true, then it was the Gill family who had issues, which was completely justifiable. If what he said was false, then Bern himself would be the one with issues.
What, the Canat family dares to deceive ? Deceit and falsehood are what I, Li Ming, detest the most in this life. They must all be killed!
By killing the entire family, the estate would naturally beco his own.
"Since I’ve co to you, there’s no reason for to lie."
Bern spoke earnestly, and Li Ming, satisfied, patted his shoulder: "What strength do you possess, and do you have a map of the military and terrain distribution of the Gill family?"
"I have fifteen mages, twenty knights, and forty warriors, all of junior level, and myself, a mid-level senior knight."
Bern hurriedly said, "I don’t know the defense of the Gill family’s native land, but I am very clear about the troops that the Gills stationed in my estate. I’ve been to the Gill family’s territory several tis and can draw you a terrain map, although I’m not sure about the military distribution."
"That’s enough. When the ti cos, I need your n to go into battle with ."
Li Ming nodded then spoke as he patted his shoulder.
"Of course!"
Bern naturally agreed, it was an understood arrangent. Li Ming’s mouth curved into a smile, and then he turned and walked back, while Bern, using walking as an excuse, did not accompany him.
Li Ming returned to the castle alone, only to see the graceful, lithe figure of Mrs. Bern standing crisply outside his door.
"Oh, Mrs. Bern, what brings you here alone?"
The thoughtful Li Ming quickly went over to embrace her and carried her into his room.
