His "Mind-Reading" ability is one among the Six Supernatural Powers of Buddhism. Officially known as the "Power of Discerning Others’ Minds" or "Wisdom of Differentiation Power." It’s also called "Observing the Minds Nuration Wisdom Power," "Knowledge of Others’ Minds," or "Differentiation of Minds." It ans to possess the wisdom to truly know the differences within other people’s minds—this supernatural power.

It’s equivalent to the "Wisdom of Others’ Minds" within the Ten Wisdoms. In the ’Abhidharma-mahavibhasa Shastra, Volu 15 (T26, No. 432),’ it is asked, "What is the power of discerning others’ minds?" The answer: "The minds of other sentient beings, including the searching, pondering minds, can all be truly known; the presence of greedy thoughts can be truly known, as well as the absence of such thoughts... The non-liberated mind, the liberated mind, both can be truly known, this is called the power of discerning others’ minds."

According to the Abhidharmakosa Shastra, Volu 27, those who wish to develop the Mind-Reading ability should rely on the fourth dhyana of the form realm as their foundation, first scrutinizing the successive changes and transformations of their own mind and body, and then observing those of others. Through enhanced practice, they can truly understand the various ntal states of others.

Li Ming’s Mind-Reading ability was, of course, unrelated to Buddhism, but when he sensed this newly born supernatural power within himself, he naturally thought of the Buddhist Mind-Reading power.

As the seventh evolution progressed dramatically, a golden essence, immortal in nature, was born from the depths of Li Ming’s soul. Along with this golden essence, the supernatural power he nad "Mind-Reading" was also born.

When the power was activated, streams of profound information were collected mysteriously into his heart.

All information beneficial to him, harmful to him, or unrelated to him, was rapidly processed and discerned, eventually yielding results—this was the pain of "Mind-Reading."

If one could say that "Heart-Capturing," from his sixth evolution, was not very effective against beings with strong psychic power and could be resisted, the trajectory of "Mind-Reading" was very different.

This mysterious trajectory of acquiring information, even those with formidable soul power found difficult to defend against, because it was the power erging from the heart.

Moreover, the most crucial aspect was that this supernatural ability could automatically gather any information from the hearts of living beings that was harmful or beneficial to him. Beyond that, it could also passively collect information between heaven and earth that was harmful or beneficial to him.

One could say, with this supernatural power, he would inherently be in an invincible position!

As such, when he first tested and used this supernatural power, the information he obtained made Li Ming’s eyes shine bright.

"Another Netherworld treasure has erged?"

Li Ming’s eyes were full of mirth. The mont he acquired the Mind-Reading ability, it passively collected beneficial and harmful information which made him faintly aware of this item. Thus, he started to actively stimulate it and, sure enough, he quickly detected more precise information.

An update about the Netherworld treasure brought by the leader of the survivors from Mao Country.

With the appearance of this information, an image also ford in Li Ming’s mind.

A cyan city shimring with endless cold, housing the King of Hell Palace within, and there in the palace, a seal—nad King of Hell Seal.

"One of the Ten Kings of Hell’s palaces, King Qin Guang’s Palace, not bad, not bad at all,"

Basking in this information, Li Ming couldn’t help but reveal a hint of a smile on his lips.

With the Book of Life and Death already in hand, Li Ming was almost on par with the Ten Kings of Hell, although just almost, not truly equal to the actual Kings of Hell. But now, with the ergence of King Qin Guang’s Palace, once he obtained it, he could genuinely possess power comparable to that of the Kings of Hell.

And it would be that of the first-ranked King Qin Guang!

In terms of duty, King Qin Guang presides over human lifespan and death, oversees the fortunes and misfortunes of the Netherworld, ushers the virtuous souls at the end of their lives to transcendence; those with equally weighed rits and derits are sent to the tenth palace for release back into the mortal world, with n turning into won and won into n. For those more evil than good, they are escorted to the high platform on the right side of the palace, nad ’Sin Mirror Platform,’ where they are made to look once, seeing the goodness and badness of their hearts while alive, and are then issued to the second palace to suffer in prison.

From his duties, it is apparent that King Qin Guang is the chief of the Ten Kings of Hell, with a leading position. By taking control of King Qin Guang’s Palace, Li Ming’s authority would rank first even among the Kings of Hell.

Moreover, he still held the Book of Life and Death in his possession.

"King Qin Guang is just the beginning; there will surely be more power for to acquire,"

With this thought flashing through his mind, Li Ming, beaming with satisfaction, highly appreciated the supernatural power he gained from the seventh evolution of his psychic abilities.

Next, he began to sense another miraculous ability born from the combination of physical body and spirit at the end of the evolutionary process: the "Heavenly Eye."

With a thought, the vertical lines on his brow appeared within his perception. The two lines joined at both ends and expanded in the middle, resembling vertically aligned eyes. Although they were just lines, the sensation of eyes opening was effortlessly natural.

With a single thought, the "Heavenly Eye" on his brow imdiately opened.

An enigmatic sensation flooded in as the eye opened, allowing Li Ming to see the world with a second vision as everything between heaven and earth expanded with the opening of this eye.

Looking up, his gaze effortlessly penetrated the roof, soaring through the layers of the sky and directly observing the vast expanse of the universe.

Looking down, layers of soil and rock seed intangible, as he gazed through the thickness of the earth, clearly seeing the scenes of the Netherworld.

In the dim Netherworld, disciples from the Five Mountains were scattered everywhere, tirelessly conducting temporary adjudication of lost souls and vengeful ghosts, with soldiers ferrying them to the cycle of rebirth—a continuous process of clearing the accumulated spirits since the opening of the Netherworld.

After watching for a while, Li Ming retracted his gaze and looked around.

The summit of Guyi Mountain, engraved with hidden Formation scripts, was completely visible to him, and the already scant clothing of the won nearby was easily seen through.

The earthworms hidden under the soil clearly appeared within his sight, with even the patterns on their bodies distinctly visible.
