Fairy towers and jade platforms, engraved with array patterns.
Glowing lights illuminate each path, and radiant brilliance flashes continuously.
Every pavilion and terrace is covered with array patterns, every jade corridor and platform emits a spiritual light.
The entire area is covered by a complex array, its sporadic flashes bring about a dangerous atmosphere, as if one is facing the barrel of a tank, it makes one feel ill at ease.
If there are immortal practitioners, this would certainly be their dwelling.
Otherwise, who among ordinary people could construct such a site?
"Such an intricate array."
The array below, engulfing the entire mountaintop, firmly captures Qingchengzi’s attention. Sensing the formidable power contained within, his eyes flickered with incredulity.
"In our Daoist sect, most arrays are used for spell-casting. Many spells that are difficult to cast by human power alone require the setting of an array, a formation of magic stage, and the aid of the array to cast the spell."
"Arrays like this, with powerful innate power are quite rare, almost nonexistent. Even if they do exist, they are usually used to gather yang fire to suppress evil spirits, or to conceal one’s form with confusing arrays."
"But this array, gives the feeling that it is no less powerful than a true person."
With astonishnt in his eyes, Qingchengzi considered the path of a Daoist practitioner, which spans from the initial phase of self-cultivation in the state of a Daoist child, to the cultivation of magical power in the practitioner’s state, and finally the condensation of divine power in the state of a true person. The leap from one state to another is imnse.
Once a true person condenses divine power, under the effect of their powerful divine power, they can easily cast spells, their power is unparalleled. Even he is only at the practitioner’s state, so far, no one in the entire cultivation world has broken through to the state of a true person.
Yet this small array possesses power that can rival the unfathod strength of a practitioner in the realm of true person.
This goes to show...
"That the kind Gentleman Li Ming was not lying."
Indeed, immortal practitioners possess formidable power. While Qingchengzi is excited, he is also sowhat puzzled.
With such a celestial spectacle, why is there no immortal practitioner in charge here?
"Could it be, they are out on so tasks?"
Qingchengzi speculated, as he felt the two swords on his back, a flicker of speculation shone in his eyes.
Since the power of heaven and earth suddenly beca active, he has been imrsed in secluded cultivation, oblivious to the outside world.
Despite this, he has procured this ancestral treasure sword, imnsely powerful. And one can only imagine what requires one to travel beyond the bounds of his cultivation level.
Moreover, he encountered countless demons along the way, and no one knows if there might be any other powerful demons lurking around. Thus, it’s quite reasonable for these immortal practitioners to take leave.
"With such drastic changes in the world, the extinction of races ca so suddenly that even if the array guards that calm the turbulent forces of Heaven and Earth, prevent the ingress of evil qi, and obstructs the passage of foul air, I fear that many in our cultivation sect will still suffer severe losses."
"In such calamity, although we are cultivators, there is no harm in seeking the aid of other Daoist sects."
"To save the world, it’s not a disgrace."
Qingchengzi silently muttered a few tis to himself before finally deciding to wait patiently outside this fairy palace for the immortal practitioners to return.
After all, seeking help from Li Ming, a commoner, and seeking help from these immortal practitioners, fellow adherents to the Dao, showing a huge difference. The forr is like seeking help from a landlord, there’s no difference.
For these self-proclaid practitioners of the Immortal Dao, seeking help from everyday people is considered a blessing; seeking help from fellow practitioners of Daoist sects, however... would an admitting that their own heritage is inferior - how could that be acceptable?
Fortunately, Qingchengzi is not overly stubborn; otherwise, with his ’competition’ ntality, the situation wouldn’t improve.
He keeps an eye on the peculiarly evolving zombies around the equator, and no one can predict what will happen if they don’t curb the catastrophe.
Under such pressure, things like saving face and competing are no longer important.
Furthermore, even within their Daoist sect...
Qingchengzi shakes his head, takes a breath of the air here, and instantly feels invigorated.
"The spiritual chanisms of heaven and earth here are much more vibrant than at the sect’s gates."
With a slight smile at the corner of his mouth, Qingchengzi decides that waiting isn’t such a bad idea. He then sits down in ditation and cultivates according to the Daoist scriptures.
So, Qingchengzi cultivated for more than a day until he finally t... Li Ming.
"..."
"Master Li?"
Qingchengzi senses a vast energy rapidly approaching from the distance. Thinking it was the immortal practitioner of this place, he hurriedly opens his eyes. On seeing Li Ming instead, he raises his eyebrows.
"Why did he co too?"
Though puzzled, seeing the sword light descend, Qingchengzi suppresses his doubt, steps forward, and pays his respects: "Master Li, what brings you here?"
"Daoist Master, there is a matter that I have just co to know about. As soon as I learned, I imdiately rushed to inform you."
After a day’s journey, Li Ming finally arrives at Guyi Mountain. As soon as he lands, he sees the Daoist ditating next to the grand array. So, he directly lands his sword in front of him. Hearing the question, he awkwardly starts to explain.
As he speaks, Li Ming curiously uses his ntal energy to probe the surroundings. After feeling the magical array and capabilities of this palace, a hint of peculiarity flashes in his eyes.
However, considering the matter at hand, he suppresses his curiosity about the ancient palace, which he has studied for quite so ti, and silently looks at the Daoist in front of him.
"Oh? What’s the matter?"
Qingchengzi furrows his brows, imdiately sensing an ominous feeling, and asks attentively.
