A window stood between two gatehouse entrances, through which a soft burst of sunlight highlighted the fair-skinned girl at the door, her radiant face complented by her bright eyes and sparkling teeth.
A soothing aura naturally emitted from her, a credible marker of her temperant. Chen Min was a gentle soul, quite resembling the doctor, Liu Minying.
However, distinctively, Liu Minying had a healthy wheat complexion, whereas Chen Min was pale-skinned.
"Ah, you’re back! Co in quickly, did you encounter any dangers?"
Seeing Li Ming outside, Chen Min’s eyes brightened as she reached out her smooth, pale hand to grab his wrist and pull him in. She promptly closed the door with her other hand.
"I assu you are well aware of my capabilities and wouldn’t think I’d encounter any danger."
Li Ming walked into the house, offering a slight smile. Amid his conversation, the tap-tap of rapid footfalls approached.
"Is Li Ming back?"
Accompanying the sound, a woman donned in black pants and long hair erged into view. Despite her sowhat square face, her figure was slim and voluptuous which was quite bewitching. A glint of joy ran through her eyes on seeing Li Ming, and she hurriedly walked over to him.
"I hope nothing happened during your journey. There are so many creatures out there, and you were alone...I was almost scared to death."
Fang Xia couldn’t help expressing her worries on seeing Li Ming.
Li Ming looked at the two won—one pure and gentle, the other mature and refreshing. To his surprise, they were his cousin and sister-in-law!
Over the past month, Li Ming didn’t rely visit his wives’ families. In fact, he had sought out his cousin Chen Min and sister-in-law the day after he had visited Zhang Yuan’s ho.

However, living in the dark and enclosed supermarket warehouse for several months had led to the dwindling of their spirits. They had beco incredibly dirtied and were suffering from minor illnesses.
Although they were minor illnesses, if left untreated, it would’ve certainly led to severe consequences. When Li Ming arrived, he infused his Five Elents energy into their bodies, restoring their health. Despite their filthy conditions, he carried them to the bathroom and cleaned them thoroughly with warm water.
Afterwards, he used his other abilities to clean their mouths before slowly feeding them a bowl of ground mutant beast at. After a good night’s sleep under the plentiful energy, the two won were revived.
After this rescue, their affection for him escalated trendously, far surpassing the intimacy they shared before.
"Don’t worry, what could possibly happen to ? You are both aware of my abilities."
Li Ming extended his right hand to gently touch Fang Xia’s hair, pulling her into his embrace and taking Chen Min’s hand. He led both won to the living room couch, naturally allowing Chen Min to lean into him as well.
Both won naturally complied with his actions, relaxing into his chest after sitting on the couch.
"We know you’re strong, but the outside world is dangerous. We can’t help but worry."
Fang Xia nestled into Li Ming’s embrace, straightening his hair with her hand, she pouted and said.
There was nothing unusual about the intimate gestures among relatives. However, neither Fang Xia nor Chen Min seed to realize their actions were overstepping the norms of closeness for a regular familial relationship.
The intimacy level, it seed, was not typically found among normal relatives...
"I’m safely back now, aren’t I? I’ve traveled everywhere these past days, but now I won’t need to go far anymore."

Cousin Chen Min couldn’t help but interject, and Fang Xia vigorously nodded her head in agreent.
"Alright, alright, if we can stay ho, we’ll stay ho. We’ll enjoy ourselves at ho every day."
Li Ming laughed. Realising that the won’s fears stemd from being isolated for extensive periods, he tactfully reassured them.
"I can see that you didn’t take it to heart. Where are you planning to go next after coming back this ti?"
Chen Min rolled her eyes, moved away from his left leg, sat next to him, and shot the question at him.
With Chen Min leaving his lap, Fang Xia also slid off his other leg, perturbed as she took the spot on his right and, like Chen Min, bundled a questioning gaze at him.
"I haven’t planned to go anywhere yet. I just want to revisit our previous base. Many people are there, including so of my forr colleagues."
Li Ming helplessly shook his head. Knowing that he wouldn’t be able to keep this a secret as he was planning to head to the Hope Base in the ensuing two days, he confessed his plans.
"Your previous base? Where is it? It’s not the place where you worked, is it?"
